  • This video is suitable from the second trimester onwards.
Focusing on Strength and Stability we will be building strength around the glutes, the legs and also the pelvic floor - helping your pelvis become strong and stable. This will work to help prevent lower back pain and discomfort, especially as you begin to get bigger. :)
It's recommended you shouldn't do pregnancy yoga until the pregnancy is established at 12 weeks.
The information and instruction provided in this video is for use as general information or for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical care provided by your GP or other qualified healthcare professional. If you have any specific medical concerns about your pregnancy or anything else you should always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. If you experience any unusual pain or discomfort after attempting any of the positions featured in this video you should contact a suitably qualified healthcare professional for further advice.

I've tried a lot of prenatal yoga videos on youtube. I go to a yoga class once per week but I try to do a yoga video every day otherwise and have noticed it really helps keep my back and hips from hurting at night so I sleep better! This video as well as her Vinyasa flow and Energising flow are my go to videos. When I first started them, I was sore after- but now I just feel stronger and more flexible. I like that they are slow but still challenging, target necessary areas during pregnancy, and that she doesn't talk too much or play annoying music. I love these videos- I only wish there were more so I wouldn't have to repeat so often!

I discovered Tammy over 3 years ago when i was pregnant with my first! I absolutely love her videos because they're not so gentle as other videos are. I pushed my kid out with ease & my body had an absolute breeze healing pp. I credit that to her vids! Now I'm pregnant with my second and im back! Lol!

awesome sequence, not too soft like most pregnancy yoga, but still enough pauses to breath. It's helping me throughout the 2nd trimester a lot (as well as your other sequences)! Feeling stronger, getting better posture and less back pain. Thank you so much for sharing this.

I'm 33 weeks, and have been doing this particular video for the past three weeks after getting intense lower back and sciatic pain. This is the only video I've found that works! I've been doing yoga throughout my whole pregnancy, but the strengthening exercises in this video are what really do it. Thank you Tammy!

I developed terrible hip (piriformis I think?) pain early in my second trimester and fortunately discovered this routine. Nothing gets rid of the pain completely but this helps so much! I am almost to the third trimester and as long as I do this a few times a week (in addition to other exercise) I can function. THANK YOU!!

You are my FAVORITE!! I have watched a bunch of RUclips pregnancy yoga videos, but none of them have me feeling like I am actually both exercising but practicing a safe routine that prepares me for birth. I’m in the second trimester and absolutely loved this video. Thank you so much!!
When you said, I hope you are still with me and I’m not doing this for myself, I was burning & my muscles in pain right along next to you 😆😆😆

I've been hesitant to do a pregnancy yoga video of any sorts, fear it wouldn't be difficult enough, it would be too cheesy. This was none of that! So perfect! It had me sweating and I loved the tenderness at the end. Thank you so much!! Namaste!

I pinned a bunch of prenatal yoga and workout routines, but so far I've only been coming back to this one and sometimes the other two in this series. They're the only ones where I feel I get a well-rounded, challenging yet appropriate workout. Thank you so much for this!

I referred to this video multiple times throughout my pregnancy and I love the results!! Due to previous injuries I have constant back pain...when I'm consistent with this workout it nearly goes away. It's the best pre natal workout that doesn't require me to bounce around (which bouncing is quite uncomfortable during second trimester and on ward). Thank you!!!!

Hi Tammy! Thanks to your prenatal yoga I stayed fit throughout my pregnancy. I even did the strength and stability one the day before I gave birth almost one month ago:-) Obviously the little one liked it too, because he arrived to this world in perfect shape haha. Thank you again for the great videos!!! I will definitely follow your postnatal videos to come back into shape, as the birth squeezed me quite a lot. Wish you all the best and keep on with what you are doing! You are doing it just perfect and I am sure there are plenty of grateful mothers out there!!!

I spent my entire first trimester trying to find one I enjoyed and felt like was actually doing something productive with my body. This routine is awesome!! I love it! I read several comments about how this helped with lower back pain so I decided to commit to it to see if I could alleviate my own back pain. I have to say, I'm so glad I kept with it. I do this along with the other prenatal yoga videos by Tonic 5 days a week. It has helped greatly with my lower back pain. I no longer suffer from the nagging pain on my left side. I highly recommend it to others who may be suffering from the same thing.

Every time I do this video I promise myself I’ll do it at least once a week! I’ve been having an extremely low energy pregnancy and currently 24 weeks and haven’t done this since probably around 14 weeks! It’s such a good video - not too intense but just enough. I really want to try and keep this up regularly for the rest of my pregnancy!!

Finally a yoga practice that is both nice and challenging and gives a little sweat and burn in positions that feel 100% safe with the bump. I am 32w and I have been feeling that most pregnancy yoga is just relaxing, while this one gives you many benefits - gives you strength for the labor, supports your lower back to avoid pain and benefits the pelvic floor. As well as gives some connection to your breath (I have noticed I started breathing very shallow otherwise as the belly attacks the diaphragm) and baby during the lovely ending sequence. Thank you!
