What a great interview this is, he really goes in depth about alot of subjects, with the old Celtics of the 60s, Larry Bird, Magic and Jordan, Len Bias, just a great overall interview.
He’s quoted in one of Russell’s books as getting mad when someone asked how he handled people. Great response- “You don’t handle people. You handle lab rats.” Goes on to talk about building rapport and relationships and respect. He figured it out decades before someone like Phil Jackson.

Wilt was shooting 86% And had 7 blocks despite 5 fouls. They went on a run, cut the lead down to 9 from 16. Then wilt get hurt. The Lakers continue the run, then Jerry kept turning the ball over and mel counts couldn't get a rebound of make a shot. If Wilt was in, all they had to do was keep feeding him so Russell would be fouled out.
Some could've, should've are always there to explain why Russell won and Chamberlain lost..Cold fact is excuses and hypothesis can be understood once not in a 9-1 result.. That's pretty much a one sided affair..
