If you were in your teens or early twenties at the time you will remember this -- a great tune! still sounds great in 2019! I was living in Spain in 1990 and this was getting played everywhere. Happy memories!! 😊
I just came across this. I remember it well, because I was the recording engineer at Woodcray Studios in Berkshire on that session - lovely voice! I was just starting out and was thrilled to hear it coming out of someone's radio in Ibiza on the beach.
Please expand ... as the song is credited to Michael Smith & Linda Rice and was first recorded by Staple singers in 1981 on their This Time Around album, then A Way Of Life and Arthur Miles in 1990, followed by Kenny Thomas in 1993 and more recently by Paprika soul in 2020 ... oh and Kent Select have reissued the Staples on 45 in 2019 ... so what is your copyright claim?
FLASHBACK !!!!!!
