If you haven't heard Chris De Burgh before, Lady in Red is one of the most beautiful/romantic songs you'll ever hear.
and in a country churchyard.
Don't Pay the Ferryman is more of a Halloween song.
Yeah but its not scary
A few more Chris DeBurgh suggestions: Ship to Shore, Where Peaceful Waters Flow, and Don't Pay The Ferryman.
When this came out there was a big outcry from the religious groups. Boycotts and everything. If you want another Chris de Burgh song you might want to try "Lonely Sky" from the same album.
i love lonely sky it is probably my favorite deburgh song
"The Girl With April In Her Eyes".
Nice to see a reaction to something other than "Lady in Rain."
Lady in Red surely
This Artist has so many songs / story songs Chris De Burgh has many songs :
Moonlight and Vodka, Broken Wings, Carry On / Travellers, Say Goodbye to It All,
Borderline, Last Night, Don't Pay The Ferryman, Sailing Away,
Songbird, The Snows of New York, Getaway,
-recommend song: High on Emotion
for Christmas you should listen his song "A Spaceman Came Travelling" , he also had done title song "Lady in Red" for movie of the same name.
This song like an alternate version of "The Devil went down to Georgia."
More likely "The Devil went down to Georgia" (1979) is an alternative version of this (1975).
It wasn't as creepy as at the start, but FEARFULL! I like how the whole orchestra played the intense parts... and then the quiet parts, WOW!
Argh!! Why have I not been getting my NOTIFICATIONS!?? Now I need to catch up!
Did no one suggest The Legend of Wooly Swamp by the Charlie Daniels Band? I'm shocked.
What can i say ? Lucky, i can barely appreciate it. But, i cant judge it as it is much above my personal music knowledge. Still, i want to say, yes it is extremely amazing indeed. And yes, thank so very much for sharing.
The Devil Went Down to the Spanish Train
If you're looking for creepy, you cant go wrong with Peter Gabriel...The Intruder.
Creepy? WaltzInBlack by The Stranglers
Hi! Angela, please react Keith Carradine - I'm Easy.
I was a little disappointed at the creepy song suggestions that you got. I agree with you, most were not all that creepy. For next year try Swamp Witch - Jim Stafford. And like several other people have mentioned here, Chris has better songs that fit what you were looking for.
Hi Angela love all your shows, I've seen all of them. I like all Carpenters ones !
I think you'll like devil woman by cliff Richard. Check it out.
The wrong Song for you!
Chris has a mega hit titled Lady In Red which is very sentimental and heart felt! This one here doesn't do anything! It would have been a better choice to play The Devil Went Down To Georgia by The Charly Daniels Band where good prevails over evil like it always will be!
You should react to 1976 song "Train Of Love" by Mayfair. It's soo underrated.
