Thank you for another awesome $50 challenge, I’m currently doing your Aldi challenge, have so far done one of your meals and it was delicious, also a family of 5 with an almost 15 year girl, a 12 year old son who eats twice as much as hubby and an almost 11 year old daughter, loving your channel and getting some awesome tips along the way.
Hi Emily Unfortunately, I only made one of the meals, which we all loved. Our two daughters have had birthdays this week, so their dinner requests were different to what I had on the menu, our eldest requested roast pork and veggies and our youngest wanted lasagna with garlic bread. Our youngest also had a few friends sleep over so it was pizza from Dominos menu. Ingredients I purchased though were put toward these meals, I had to buy the roast pork plus some extra veggies (mushrooms, zucchini for lasagna) I have been using what we have though to make other meals, I’ve had to buy a few extra things but I’m pretty sure my food bill has been way less than usual for this week. I will give it another go once school goes back for sure, hubby is very keen to try your egg drop soup. And I’ve already written down shopping list for your coles $50 challenge too 🥰
😯😲😮🙀🙀👏👏👌👌👌OMG you are a 🤯🤯🤯 Genius Emily - I never thought to divide cost per kilo in grams and then weigh veggies to fit budget- Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou. So easy to do too. Thanks for demonstrating. Prices have gone up now but still all your choices are the best, and all healthy too. This is a really good video Emily and should be Bumped up so more people can see it.❤❤❤😊😊😊
Hi, Just wondering if you use tomato paste, I find it stretches good flavour across several meals, your last veggie purchase gave good variety & was very creatively done, thanks for sharing. j
Emily can you edit from 3.50 to 4.21 to make a Perfect Short of you dividing cost per kg and weighing the zucchini- to put it up as a Short-- it would help a lot of people😊
Looks like the TVP was a winner if you're buying more of it. I like how you're showing the prices as you go. That's how I'll be doing my videos I think. This is in addition to #Shelftember? I didn't think we were buying food this month. Also when the store is out of an item.... don't they still have the 'Voucher' where you get that same price next time or they sell you a 'similar product' for the same price?
I'm almost done with Shelftember. I started mine early to mid August to get everything recorded and edited for you all. But covid and all the crap last month ment i missed posting about 7 videos and i lost my Hard drive so i had to move up some content. So unfortunately they will be out of order a bit with these video's. I have a ton of content coming your way.
i legit have a red kidney beans trauma from the time i ate my own bad cooking that contained red kidney beans (my first time cooking with it) as i was eating it i thought it didn't taste too bad but then it tasted awful the more i ate more, then the inside of my body felt grossed out that the trauma really stuck in me
This is very impressive and demonstrates how well you have planned this challenge. Love this, very inspiring 👏
Thanks so much! 😊I am glad you enjoyed it
Great haul Emily. My food budget always goes over and I need to try this. Can't wait to see the meals you cook.
You can do it! I hope you like them
Love this!
We've squeezed some of our sausages out into meat balls when we've become sick of sausages.
I am actually not a fan of sausages.
Here from tiktok, loving your vids ❤

What do you do when you hate sausages it's so cheap but they make me feel sick so I end up having to buy mince which cost me $9 for 500g
Swap beef mince to pork or chicken its cheaper or do more chicken
Can you write down a list so we can try and copy you? Please!!
I already did its up on the blog!
Can you do more updated ones of these videos again
It's on the plan.

Oh no. Maybe you could slowly reintroduce them? Hide a little until the you feel better?
@@AussieDebtFreeGirl yeah my organs were grossed out by the feeling of that food inside of me
What did you do last time with the textured protein?
A 'beef' pasta, one pot meal
@@AussieDebtFreeGirl I might give that one a go - see if my fuss pot kids will eat it 🙂
How’s your baby going?
So much better, back to his usual self
❤️❤️❤️💯👍
"after inflation" 🤣🤣🤣 that didn't age well. 😅
