That watermelon and box of bananas was such a good price. Watermelon has been $2.50 a kilo.
@@annarowsell6298 it's really cheap here atmso I'm going to freeze a bunch for sorbet
@AussieDebtFreeGirl Yum Sorbet. Hope your all doing ok ❤.
Are you no longer gluten free?
@kbray8493 Kinda. I am eating gluten at the moment. I've had my colonoscopy, and I need to keep eating gluten until after my endoscopy to check for more gut issues I've been having
I'm so glad you uploaded. Absolutely love your content and your my favourite channel. Everything looks delicious. My 3 kids went back to school today. Hope your all doing ok ❤.
Love it 'you get what you get, don't get upset' ps great chatting to you last night!!!!!
🙂
Lunchboxes look delicious and fresh!
Could you give us an update on that cookware you got, probably a year ago, now?
@@bettiegambrill8545 I don't think it was a year yet. But it's still perfect
You are so organised, and it pays off with $$ and time.
Very nice. The apple cinnamon muffins sound delicious. Pizza scrolls yum! Do you use milk or egg wash on them?
@@Sonja... nope. No need
Good job! I need to do this more often
I've got to start doing this. My kids go back to school this week. Plus I went to market this morning. I got a lot of fruit and vegetables for $60.
It really helps
Yum 🤤. Great way of using things up. I want to make this now. Looks delicious.
We've had it 3 times in 2 weeks. Kids love it
Looks absolutely delicious
I think it turned out pretty good!
Well done love ideas hope you are well I always watch xxx
You are too kind! I hope you are well too!
2025 👍
A fellow neurospicy! I was late diagnosis (24) and thankfully I was able to get an affordable diagnosis with a heavy Medicare rebate so I was like $800 out of pocket. It’s called a complex neuro developmental disorder assessment which is rebated by Medicare for those under 25. So so grateful I was able to access that otherwise I wouldn’t been able to afford it, the costs are crazy. I was on the waiting list for cairn millar institute to do an assessment but the starting cost was $1,800 and I’m still on the waiting list a year later (I need to call and cancel it). I did so so much research and got quotes etc and Cairn Millar was the cheapest as they have a provisional psych do the assessment. It really sucks how inaccessible assessment is for people. If I wanted to go on ADHD medications then I would have to be reassessed by another psychiatrist because mine doesn’t prescribe meds and psychiatrists want to do their own assessment before prescribing meds to their patient.
It really does suck how inaccessible assessment is.
Great to see you back on air. How you manage it all I'll never know. You do such an amazing job ♥
Thank you so much! I try to make it work. Just ding my best
My prayers are with you and your family
Prayers are always appreciated
You are doing a great job and don't be ashamed to visit the food bank if it's going to help you achieve your goals faster Take care
I'm so grateful for all the support!
My eldest has ADHD and feel since he started high school (yr 10 this year) he constantly is late to school couldn't care less, finds things hard even though he's in a learning unit and has days where he'd rather do virtual schooling! Other two kids with ADHD aren't late to school and seem to want to learn which is good. And my other kid has dyslexia which has been a separate challenge all together. How do you find the education system in QLD? Wouldn't mind moving there but I think the humidity would be a hard one to get used to
My middle one is usually late, and then there's the obvious: trying to get everyone in the car and turning around to find the big one unconscious. She loves school, but it's hard work masking all day, so she will do anything to not go.
@AussieDebtFreeGirl I cannot imagine how tough seeing your child get constant seizures is there anything that tends to bring them on or is it just random? Omg the battle to get everyone on the same page for an activity or whatever that requires getting in the car is crazy! My eldest is the one who usually stuffs it up for everyone else he always goes against the majority vote not sure if it's possibly a bit of anxiety but I'm going to get the paed to do further testing.
@strawberryrainbows2625 He can't regulate his own body temp so going from aircon to heat or viscera. The pressure drop before a storm. Fatigue. Pain. He has CFS AND hEDS too
The most important thing is to concentrate on what you can do rather than what you cannot. Bless you and your family. 😊🎉❤
You are so kind! Thank you. 😊
What I love about this channel is it normalises life. So many influencers only show the polished and perfect - the unattainable.... but when I watch you, I feel encouraged and feel I can change one little thing to make life easier. Thanks for your honesty.
@janeballinger2117 Thank you that's what I want people to feel. I'm talking to me 10 years ago. Me who was homeless but never hopeless
Happy 2025 I've never heard of 'neuro spicy', a good way to look at the situation Make sure to 'be kind' to yourself, and that will give you strength to face any challenges that will come your way, Emily
Just humans with extra flavor haha
Neuro spicy household here too. You are doing such a wonderful job for yourself and your kids ❤
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
Did the video just jump to pass 😮
You have a great stock pile however i just wonder why you feel you should feel the need to ask for free pantry items from food parcels etc
@Margaret-o1j I do keep a stockpile of specials to reduce our spending. A lot of things are not food. When we accessed food pantries, we did not have money or very little for food at the time. Especially for vegetables and meat. I have a disabled child, and we're at the time going through a court battle that was draining our income. Keeping rent paid and paying for his treatments on top of that was all we could do.
This was at a time we had maybe $100 a month to buy food. $40 of that was for the food pantry and we would be doing this for at least another year. This wasn't a short-term issue, so this is what we came up with to make the stockpile last and go to the food pantry once a month to save fuel.
That is amazing value. Look how many meals you can make. Thank you for uploading. Love your content darling ❤. Hope your all doing ok ❤.
It was such a great deal!
Too long
I love this … what about breakfast & luncj
We usually just have leftovers for lunch!
What a fabulous gift. I can hear the excitement and appreciation in your voice. What a great MIL!
She really went above and beyond this year!
Great shop !😊
Thank you
Hope you had a great Christmas and new year 🎉
Great meal planning as always, Emily
Thank you! I am glad you liked it.
The pasta you got holds up so much better than the cheapest ones! Definitely worth the extra! Or I stock up when I go to aldi as theirs is still 79c and I'd say equivalent to the ones you bought
I find the advice ones fall apart too
That price of pasta you got (the shells) is undeniably better than the cheaper ones!! Although I find the cheapest ones at coles fine. Your haul looks great and meals sound delicious 😋
It really does make a difference in the quality!
Good on you for being so organised!
It helps keep things running smoothly!
Lots of yummy food there! Is the games night a yearly tradition? The dinner rolls are $2.60 normal price here
@@Sonja... we do it monthly ish with friends when the schedules allow
Merry Christmas to you and your family, glad it was easier than the previous yeat.
It really was much easier this year!
Always love your grocery hauls but crazy when it’s over $300. Great saving using your Woolworths rewards and 10% off. Hope you had a lovely Christmas. ❤Michelle in Brisbane
It’s the best time of year to do a big shop!

Thanks! It was a very merry Christmas for us!
Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family darling ❤. Great haul and thanks for sharing. I also did a big shop.

I love❤ a practical gift!
What a lovely gift from your MIL ❤. Something for everyone.
Amazing and thoughful gifts for all of you! Oh that brings back memories we had a hook and ring set when i was a kid, one of the few toys/games we had
Looks good but doesn't look like the eldest is getting much?
It's only the first Haul so far
Nice one 👍
So glad you liked it.
