I had a time of a lot of similar symptoms to yourself, never formally diagnosed with anything other than CFS/ME (which is kind of a diagnosis of exclusion, anyway). Had times where I was too weak to lift my kids into the car or even drive, bad times! My body was just in a constant state of inflammation. I found alot of relief with a super nutrient dense paleo style diet and it didn't take long either, maybe a few weeks until I was a new person - better than my 20s, even. I only turned to diet after the medical establishment had nothing to offer in terms of meds or management. And glad that it worked. The only downsides being the expense and the work to cook from scratch always... anyhoo, just wanted to share because SO MANY women of child bearing age have these systemic issues that stump our medical teams. You inspire me with your strength in the every day, it's so hard with chronic illness and disability in the family but you take it all in your flow x
Have you thought of an iron fusion? My iron got so low...it was down to 2...i was fatigued big time...had a few other issues, was getting the run around with doctors...was then diagnosed with b cell Lymphoma, luekemia in June 2021...before i started chemo i was given an iron fusion....i have been on iron tablets for years with no improvements...doctors told me when your iron is so low no amount of red meats, greens tablets will fix it....well the fusion was amazing.....my iron 3 years on is as high as it can be...im 52 but my energy has never been better..the iron fusion really changed my life....i really hope you can get to the bottom of your health issues, its difficult to keep going sometimes...i hope things improve for you really soon. ❤❤❤
It’s great to hear your in a better financial situation than you were last year yep medical probs are crap I have 18 most are chronic medication and doctors cost a fortune
Aldi have wonderful cast iron cookware a couple of times a year. I'm so sorry you're still struggling with your health Emily, you're doing an amazing job as a mum & wife, I hope you're being taken care of as well. That eyeshadow is stunning on you.
there is a camping shop on the right hand side of Johnson Rd, 4WD Supa Centre ,Precinct St Parkinson that have cast iron pans etc reasonably priced 6 pc set $99/ single pan 26cm $20 Bunnings B'Plains has 2.5l pan for $24
Harris Scarfe has raw cast iron pans. I have chronic low iron too. I was recommended to have vitamin c with iron rich foods and eat calcium rich foods around 2 hours away from iron foods. I hope you get some more answers soon.
I have Sjogrens Syndrome and lupus and experience similar systems to you. Is there a chance you have an autoimmune condition? Primary symptoms are fatigue, joint/muscle pain, dry skin, eyes, and mouth. You can also have GI issues and autonomic neuropathy, dizziness, low blood pressure) which I really struggle with. My liver markers are always high and new GPs/new specialists always assume I am a chronic drinker 🤦♀️ sending positive vibes for an answer and a treatment plan
Hope your going to be ok. Been thinking of you ❤. Sending some ❤ your way. My daughter is in year 8 next year and her school fees go up a bit every year. I have to buy her stationery as well again. So the budget will be tight until after Christmas.
Hi Emily, sorry to hear of your health issues. You mentioned that you're taking zinc; my apologies if you already know this, but zinc and iron should never be taken together. Zinc can interfere with iron absorption. I found this out the hard way, as I was iron deficient and taking iron (along with a plethora of vitamins inc zinc), religiously for months with zero improvement.
I know you don't want to hear this, as I have suggested it before, but please TRY Carnivore way of eating, including your children. It can help ALL of you!
I wanted to add that most of your issues I have seen Carnivore eaters report total cure or drastic reduction in symptoms. The doctors you are seeing are giving you very bad advice and will increase your issues, not reduce them. Do some research at least, I implore you. I see what you are eating, and it is NOT healthy at all. The food pyramid is a fraud.
I have increased our red meat intake to help with my low iron, but after talking to the doctor and my nutritionist they recommended against it, especially with my cancer risks and the fact my bowl isn't working properly.
Thank you for sharing, I’m sorry you’re going through this. Keep pushing for answers! Sending love ❤
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
You are a real trouper, Emily, and the best Mum! Please keep plugging away until you get answers to your health problems. Like the new music!

How do you purchase gift cards through superannuation?
A lot of banks, superannuation funds and loyalty programs give you discounted gift cards. Mine does 4% off.
You are doing a great job, thank you for sharing and i hope you find all the answers you are looking for.
Are you still uber driving?
Never done user but doordash sometimes
Read or listen to fit for life by Harvey Diamond before doing any “preventative” surgeries such and interesting book.
Also look at buying an iron fish to put in your cooking.
