- Sorry this one has been so long in the making. i spent ages recording loads of footage of taking the engine out and taking a part the engine but i ended up loosing loads of footage.
Heres an update on whats going on with the build.

Had one of these for quite a few years- what a magnificent, stylish, thrilling beast. Why do you see so few videos about these wonderful machines? And this must be the first ever resto video I’ve seen for one of these. These things are going to be a definite classic, and are going to start climbing in value fairly steeply I’m sure
let hope the value rises. theirs not very much Alfa related stuff on youtube. lets hope i can put a change to that.

Is there anything you can cover with regards to swapping the CF2 manifolds and how it could be done with the engine in?
85bigricky it’s not an easy task, front it easy rear you need to remove engine mounts and roll engine forward but I just take engine out.
Thank you for all your hard work and videos! I have a 95 GTV with the 2.0 V6 Tb. Thinking about taking the engine out at some point. Is it possible to lift it up, rather than lowering it down? As I don't have a car lift like that. But do have an engine crane. Thank you!
Wouldn't be easy but its possible. Bottom is a lot easier.
I see it’s an early cf1 and the donor is a cf2 with those horribly restrictive exhaust manifold pre-cats. That’s what I’m trying to get rid of on mine

Hi mate is the gear linkage cables the same between v6 and twin spark?
Ts doesn't have cables on a ts gtv, ts 147 156 do have cables but not the same

Unrelated question , but can a 2.0lt Twin Spark engine replace 2.0lt JTS engine in a GT. ?

JTS is direct injection...
Best bet would be to look for a write off blackline or cloverleaf with a 1.8 TS and drop a 2.0 TS in.
Is it simpler just to find good 2.0 jts if yours isnt in good condition?

stephen girling just sitting in mud for a long time. If you see the first video you will see where it was for the last few years.
