Bloober has leaks but calling it very leak heavy is a major exaggeration
Also Bloobers CEO said in the real translation that they were working on a project for Nintendo platforms not Nintendo developers too I believe.

@@marsgordeukOther M has very fun game-play. And most complaints people have also apply to Fusion, which ironically usually is the person's favorite Metoid game (and usually only cuz it was their first). Other M does have actual problems, like the Where's Wally/Waldo parts and that one time she almost dies cuz she can't disobey Adam. But her following his commands in general, monologging, and even having PTSD from Ridley killing her parents and everyone she's ever known, are all logical things to expect in a Metroid game if you played Fusion and read the backstory in the Nintendo Official Guide Book for Super Metroid. People even told me they hated Other M for not being a first-person shooter _"like Metroid is supposed to be"..._ Oh, also, I do dislike the music, but that also goes for most Metroid games. The first game and Super (and the Prime games) had had the perfect blend of atmospheric and catchy, but after that, the 2D games were purely atmospheric, which really sucks. Music is one of my favorite parts of Metroid games.
I better not hear anyone say Nintendo is only for kids after this announcement.

Someone pointed out that Project M is planning to open Bloober’s second-party portfolio under the Broken Mirror Games brand, according to the company’s fact sheet.
So chances are, it’s most likely not Bloober who is behind this game
This will not be made by Bloober team. Emio has its own page on the official Nintendo Japan website, with the part of the url that's normally randomized just saying "emio". Nintendo has been uncharacteristically cryptic by leaving the description almost blank outside of a hashtag. This game already has an age rating, implying it's essenially finished, without any leaks. Meanwhile this interview makes it sound like the project is still well under development, as well as specifying it's cheaper than usual.
There is absolutely no way Nintendo would put this much effort into marketing somebody else's cheap game. I can't see it being anything other than in-house.

This is definitely not the case. Having age rating established means that it is probably at the end stage of devlopment. That project M seems like it is only at its starting stage.

I really think it is. This interview specifically calls Project M a cheaper game than they usually make, no way would Nintendo put this much effort into cryptic marketing just for another company's little side project.

Bloober Team theory is discarded. They're working with their Broken Mirror Games label to make games for Nintendo PLATFORMS. Nintendo has no involvement in that.

So you gotta imagine this game is for the current Switch. Why randomly tease a next generation game like this on a random Wednesday in July?
That being said, its looking like Switch 2 is late 2025.
2025 is actually looking stacked for the original Switch. Pokemon Legends Z-A, Metroid Prime 4, and an exclusive new horror IP are juggernauts. I don't think a Nintendo console has ever had a stronger final year.
Unless these games are cross-gen I don't think Switch 2 comes out until late 2025. I doubt it though. Cross-gen games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 carried the Switch because no one had a Wii U anyway. These massive games won't be a selling point for Switch 2 if they're also on the console that has sold 140 million units though. So I think Switch gets a strong swan-song year throughout 2025, with the games I just listed launching on it, and then Switch 2 launches in like October 2025 with launch titles like Mario Kart 9
Doesn't matter who's developing it. What really matters is how Nintendo will direct them.
