    I would really like to see an industry series or PI series. The only issue I have with this video is, to be able to afford your orca you already need to have spent about 725M in ISK. If you are able to build that, you probably already have a source of ISK that is providing you a revenue stream. But i appreciate the effort you went to get the info & share it. Keep it up.

      Completely appreciate your point about the price of an Orca, pal. You are correct, it's by no means an entry level ship in either cost or skills required to fly! As you're interested, I'll look at putting together an industry series, starting off with some entry level stuff and progressing through to invention and T2 manufacturing. First up though, i will be bringing out my first video on PI. Thanks for your support and the sub, it means a lot!

      PI is amazing for passive income *but only if done in very low security space*.
      You'll also need command center upgrades and interplanetary consolidation maxed (40day Skilling). For best results you'll also *need* a blockade runner to ferry materials between planets at a safe rate which is another 20ish days.
      Total is just around 4mill sp baseline and you'll make 100mil isk a week for doing nothing.

    Good stuff. If you don't want to spend too much the Porpoise is a great alternative. Same mining yield, 1/3 or less cargo, 1/10 price. Anyway great vid.

      Thanks for support pal, and thanks for the tip! Hopefully others will see your comment, because there have been a few people mentioning the Orca is unobtainable for them in the short term. I'll look at doing an equivalent video for it!

    I have a secondary carebear account with a orca, this seems kinda worth it are the prices still good?

      Thanks for your comment! I haven't looked particularly recently but I know the changes to the Null-Sec ore availability should have 'permanently' increased the value of hi-sec mining, that coupled with the changes to Moon Mining a while ago, I would expect hi-sec asteroid belt mining to still be worthwhile. Especially as a side activity or coupled with manufacturing.

      Yeah, I'm not sure what's going to happen with these Quantum Cores... barrier to entry just got a whole lot higher if you want to own and keep a structure. No idea how it's going to effect the efficiency of hi-sec mining

    10 mil in a hour?? I mean, I would really like to get into mining, but man, you can do like 14 million in 20 minutes in a afk Dominix ratting in null sec.... I really think they should buff mining ships, a lot.

    • @waddenderas7774
      @waddenderas7774  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for you comment! Straight mining isn't particularly good isk but it's easy and can be done semi-afk. The real way to make cash through mining though is to combine it with your own industry.

    • @FrankieMankie
      @FrankieMankie 4 года назад +1

      @@waddenderas7774 Yep, but I guess that also means more time/skills needed to make good isk.
      Do you thinl this is a good time to get into mining/industry? Or should I wait to see the upcoming minimg nerfs CCP wants to implement?
      (Nice video by the way, I forgot to say that)

    • @waddenderas7774
      @waddenderas7774  4 года назад

      If you want to make really big money, then yeah, you're probably right. But you can get started in mining and industry with very little cash and skills. You just need to pick the right product. The skills obviously help as you move into the higher value stuff, but mostly as a timesaver.
      I think now is as good a time as any to get into it, the changes in Nullsec had a positive impact on hi-sec mining/industry but I have no idea how the upcoming changes are going to affect it. Have they published any information recently?
      Thanks for the kind words pal.

      Mining is really just the first step the money comes from what you can do with those minerals ie building and selling things. Its a very long training process. Mining used to be a nice semi afk activity but that is dead now really with emerging conduits being intoduced etc you really have to fully commint now to industry or dont that would be my advise anyway.

      ÀFK Ishtar ratting running Havens in null nets 20-25m a tick.. mining in anything other then a rorqual is a waste of time and ISK imho

    You can get the Megacyte and Zydrine in High Sec by mining the emerging conduits just pointing that out ;)

      @@honeybadger9425 In an normal system? I think it's the same as before, so some low level pirate rats, but i guess no chance of roaming trig fleets if the conduits are gone? Not sure though. In the Invasion system ore belts you can get some pretty strong trig fleets regularly though.

    I can do 5.530M3 in 1 minute per drones so it will be 27.650M3 per minute if im mining Veldspar, 22isk x 276.500 veldspar because veldspar weight 0.10 so I can make 6.083.000 in a minute. As long theres a belt with full of asteroid, I can earn alot. My 1 drone cost 450mil each.
