It's really interesting, i have not seen ANY videos like this at all, and thanks for showing how it works. Im sure I'll likely never use one personally, but it's still cool to know.
Thank you! I keep asking questions about this but no one had a clue. Will come back and check out the update, but you pointed me In the right direction
thank you i was wondering about the structure it was interesting to see it use the same deployment as all other structures even though orientation is set but it makes sense using what works . but no drill animation its not a mining laser its a transfer tool from the planet from the details i was expecting to see hourly pods firing up but great video .
Thank you for this video. Im new to the game and looking to get into industry in WH space. Any reason why "good" moons were removed in WH space? Is not doing this in WH space much riskier than in HIGH sec ... so warranting more reward?
There's this concept that you can make wormholes 'completely' safe for a period of time by rolling off all connections, and I think it was considered too OP to have high value moons in there that could be mined more or less risk free with the approporiate preparation. I don't know if a reason was ever presented though. Regarding hi-sec, because of the war-dec mechanics it's actually my experience that structures are far more at risk there then anywhere else in New Eden, unless you have the size or means to fight off the mercenary groups
@@waddenderas7774 I see. Thank you for the explanation. This speaks to something I sometimes hear … that high sec is far more dangerous than the name suggests. Thank you for the explanation and looking forward to your next video.
Does someone know who long it'll take to breakeven? Like (stupid example) if setting up the drill costs 1.5B, how long will it take to make it back by selling the output (so no industry or production to increase its value after the extraction)? Thanks.
@@eduard7736 yeah the fuel cost obviously makes it worthless at the moment. 200 profit is not terrible but given the relative ease of stealing from these structures, only the really big WH groups can reap the benefits .
Thanks for the video, but, man, the return on investment for these absolutely stinks, though. And you don't get the standard minerals either? Thinking I'm going to pass on these.
from the details i have seen there isn't a limit you can shove one on every moon in the wormhole , but the limiting factor will be getting the gas that is used to run them it comes from lava planets with sky hooks also defending them as they have no defence
Just goes to show how many dev's don't play test stuff the UI for them is rubbish really and basic and mostly same as other structures. Most of this for smaller gangs/corps will I suspect just get blown up & robbed easily, the cost of them and fuel just seem a massive risk sink to me. Thanks for showcase - they could have done a lot better with these tbh sometimes I dispair at the difference between their promotional videos and the in game reality though.
Yeah, I'll be honest I was a little disappointed at the UI and Graphics for this one. And yes, from what I understand in Null-sec there are roaming gangs just taking down everyone of these they come across. So I expect someone to try and destroy this one pretty soon
Perhaps if you have decent moons in null, but for now it looks poorly implemented with very poor instructions, time will tell, but I wonder how long before they decide it was a bad idea and nerf it.
At the moment, I don't think a Nerf is on the cards, the expensive moons in Null can't afford the 60% efficiency hit and roaming gangs are just taking them all down so right now they're just a huge isk sink
I have done a follow up video on the ROI here: ruclips.net/video/yNBfIvHzfNA/видео.html

Glad you found it interesting, I was surprised to not be able to find anything myself
Vids like these make me want to start looking for my personal wormhole.
Thanks for showing the process.
Definitely worth looking into pal :)
Prep to be on 24/7 to crit/roll, or develop connections for regular alarm clock defense once people will notice you.

Great video mate, could not have done/explained this better myself, you sir are a great addition to the eve tutorial scene.
Thanks buddy, very kind words

Thank you for making this video. We really appreciate it!
You are very welcome!
This is my weekend plan. Thanks for the primer.
Nice! In j-space or somewhere else?
Yeah, corps reaction hole just to try it out. Gives us an excuse to raid null sec for magma and stir up response fleets.
I was literally just looking for a vid like this today thanks, also wtf Ive seen your corp vids from like 4 years ago
Haha thanks for returning to the channel after all this time :D
I'm keen to know what exactly you look for in the survey reports, maybe I missed it. Great video, thanks. :)

I was hoping as it was called a drill it might do some drilling, but alas :)
Nice guide. Thank you.
Awesome video, cleared alot of my doubts
keep it coming
Thanks, glad it helped!
Great video, waiting the next one to know the prices and see if its efficient
Thanks! We'll give it some time for everything to hit the markets and settle down, then we'll see how it performs

super helpful thanks a lot

How does the unanchor process work? Does it have to run out of magma?
Hi great video, can we get an update on return on investment with this drill? Thanks
Here you are! ruclips.net/video/yNBfIvHzfNA/видео.html
any info on how the reinforcement timer works? Can’t find anything online, thanks
Not currently no, but I'll look into it. Might have to bash my own structure :D
When you opened the cargo bay and it says "PUT FUEL HERE" in big letters and you ignored that and kept looking I wanted to yell at the screen lol
Ah man, that must have been so frustrating to watch!! :D
Great job!

What was?! :D
@@waddenderas7774 Our c4 wolf rayet was connected to yours the day before yesterday. I had wondered what that thing was.
Very nice. So 1bil ISK p/month which is around about what I expected. Not too shabby but protecting them properly will be an ass.
Yeah we'll see how long this one stays up!
At current gas prices it’s only 200 mil profit / month

does the yield depend on the C class of the wh ?
No. All R4 Moons
I AM COMING
Please say Hi when you're here!
How many per system in jspace can be anchored and active at once?
just as many as you have moons. If they are profitable or not another story as J space moons are trash.
I'm not aware that there is any limit, just one per moon

but my point is the limiting factor is not placement its buying or stealing the needed gas
