  • I had a few people including Ralfyralfy request that I do an instructional drawing video. I'm really not that great at teaching but i hope this helps you guys a little bit. Tell me what you think. Oh and post video responses showing me your face drawings!!!

    I find it funny how you're all like "I really don't know how to teach, so yeah" and then bring us one of the best explanations on how to draw a realistic face (with even the shading explained!).

    As an absolute beginner, I loved your video. After following along I was able to draw a much better face than I ever would have imagined. That gives me confidence and motivation to watch it again along with your other videos. Thank you so much for sharing and helping.

    the tips with the eyes are like really good. like the length of the eyes across plus the nose and mouth thing is really really helpful and smart.

    Finally a great tutorial that I highly believe will benefit to my sketch and drawings. Wasn't boring nor monotonous to follow through either. Love how she basically said, light goes on the right, and your shadows go on the left" which will help me keep that in mind for now on.
    Just wonder what kind of pencil tool she used. Hope I can get the same effect with just a regular #2 pencil and on my tablet.

    Thank you for all the excellent strategies to locate eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Really helped, now if all faces were symmetrical.

      yes it is. It may cause fingerprints on the paper

      You can use just some tissue if your worried about finger prints

      I just my finger cuz it's easy but I do that in the end because it can make finger prints all over the page

      If it’s a master piece yes. But she doesn’t seem to car on this one. I like to use ear bud cleaners to blend my art.

    Wow. I love how in this video, you make this actually seen possible--unlike several other how-to-draw tutorials. Thanks so much for uploading this and for demonstrating the techniques you use!
