- Sounds like an easy question for Christians, but it's NOT. There are so many questions surrounding this statement. If they really were the first, then where did Cain find his wife? Was it his sister?
The question of whether life began at the time of Adam and Eve is interesting and really important for us to know. Did life really begin 6000 years ago when science has shown us that human beings have been around longer than that?
I believe that the Bible is true, but is it really true in the way WE THINK? Or does the Bible have a different answer to this?

You missed a HUGE piece of evidence. Jesus is repeatedly referred to as "the last adam." It contrasts Adam and Jesus, Adam representing the natural/earthly and Jesus representing the spiritual. 1 Corinthians 15:45, "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." This knowledge gives an entire new layer of depth to an already phenomenal video!

Genesis4:verse13-15 shows there were other people there other than Adam ,Eve, and Cain. If there were no other people, what was the need for God to make a mark on Cain to identify him, so that no other people kill him.

If Isaac had been the first man his wife would have come from the daughter of his mother.....i don't know why some guys are trying to give us false teaching like they got something real more than Jesus got.
Cain married from his mother's siblings, there was other sets of human beings in existence who were not from pure breed as Abel and Cain who came from Adam and Eve.

The question is this, during this time we had only 3 Human beings in existence, Him, Adam and then Eve, so who are the "Every one he was talking about?
Before Adam was made a living soul on this earth there were beigns who lived as men but couldn't reigned because the Adamiac authority (i.e the dominion power) wasn't with them yet, now these were the angelic beings who fell or thrown down from heaven by Michael and his angels, These were called the darkness and the deaths remember bible said darkness wasn't in God beign the Light 1John 1:5.
Now while Adam and Eve were in the garden they never experienced darkness, they've been living in the day time side of life....so when God sent them out they were sent into night time of life, so they began to experienced day and night life.
Now Cain was conscious of these fallen angels called the sons of God, who had power to lived and transfigured to man,
Verse 16 shown to us there was a land called the Land of Nod, which some strange human beings (i.e fallen angels who turned strange human) were living there that Adam and Eve, then Cain knew about, These were called the darkness and death that first invaded the earth when God started fixing it with natural habitants these was the land Cain was reffering to, he had a knowledge before hand, about this time that there was such land as the Land of Nod i.e the land of death or darkness, before he started heading there.
Remember God warned Adam and Eve about "death", and while God was filling the earth with natural habitants there was darkness on the surface of the earth which God seperated from the Light which he called forth in Gensis 1:3?
You see there are many things most preachers do not know about because they lack the revelations of Christ so when they come accross these kind of deep things, they began to assume many things that led them to great blunders.
You see it is the Spirit that search the deep things of God not senses.
You don't called a place a Land until there are living beings living or in existence there.
The Land of Nod mentioned by Cain is the Land of death and darkness which God's pressence once protected Adam and Eve and their first two guys from even after they were drove out of the garden of Eden, his pressence still protected them (i.e Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel) from those strange beigns from the Land of Nod.
But the moment blood of Abel was shed by Cain the cry of Abel's blood that speaks vengeance separated God's presence from him, and he became exposed to the Land of death and darkness, and that was the reason he was afraid about the people of that land because there was no covering again, no security again, suddenly he became conscious of those people in the land he was journeying to.
But Adam and Eve then other children enjoyed the covering till their death, this was why they weren't afraid of anyone (such as the sons of God) that may laid hands on them apart from the curse of land that came on them.
Now in Genesis 6:1 those strange men called the son of God began to manifested as human, and while daughters of men began to increased on the surface of earth, bible said when they saw them they daughters of men was fair they took them as wives....you know the rest of the story.

If Adam was ("only") spiritually the first man on earth (which is erasing problem of incest and inbreeding), why was all of the humanity that was out of the garden, who had nothing to do with what Adam and Eve did in it, marked with the original sin?
Adam And eve we a symbol of the first man and woman. but the story mirror a anceint phonexian story... as the tribe woke up one day after longtime of unknowing... this was because they had consumed fruits from a tree. as before they were like the animals living day by day, just eating and sleeping.... they considered everything for the first time and began to name everything and "Rememeber" ie keep records of the past to be taught down... so this story of adam and eve encompases this story. There were other tribes on the earth still asleep ...

So if they failed, then we can also be considered failures, in the same way, the football team of a country is known to represent the country because they are the best of the best in that country and if they loose a game, it also mean that people in that country lost the game, even if they didn't play it.

I just found your channel and so appreciate the way you express the truth of the Bible and allow it to be understood by those who are trying to understand it through rationale Which is my guilt obsessed problem. I'm trying to understand if God has foreknowledge and he knew the outcome of everything He does, if He knew that Satan and the third of the angels and Adam and Eve (w/Satan's help) were going to rebel against Him, why are they all to blame for going against God's will if his intent was for them to go against him in the first place, because if he knew this was going to happen it must be that he intended it to happen if He created it to happen then why are we held accountable for something he intended? Does this make any sense, and if it doesn't that's my problem and I'm sure you're the person that can figure it out and speak on this somewhere along the line. Thank you

if there is true free will...it is still possible for God to know, since He is all knowing. the bigger issue that people have to argue with ....DID GOD PREDESTINE PEOPLE TO SIN?
if this was the case then verse like 1 Tim 2:3-4 and Ez 33:11 also seem contradictory. how can God say that He wants EVERYONE to be saved, and yet predestine them to Hell?
personally, I do believe God is all-knowing and all-seeing....but to say that God was the one that actually CREATED people to sin and go to Hell would go against the very nature of love. if God is indeed the very essence of love (1 Jn 4:7-8), then how can he create people to go to Hell?
one thing the scriptures do tell us, is that there is a responsibility of human beings to do something in their faith. in order for love to exist completely, there must be a choice to love one another...which means, giving people no choice and just creating them to sin or be righteous does not fulfill the very concept and definition of love. love cannot be forced, but must be on free will...must be based on my choice to love someone and give up on all other people in the world and only love them. it wouldn't be considered love if a gun was pointed to your head and told you to love, right?
the Bible has such verses that show free will and choice, like Deu 11:26-28 and Mt 7:7-8. It tells us to do something...take responsibility in our faith.

So we did not come from Adam? Or descended from the people outside the garden? So is Cain's wife? Who were the people outside the Garden?
We are descendants of Adam, who is the beginning of our faith. Cain's wife is apparently from ANOTHER town outside the garden...and I am assuming they are all people that God created, and Adam is the first to have a relationship with God.

I believe that man was made (male and female) on the sixth day according to Genesis 1:26-31. The events of Genesis chapter 2 goes on to tell the story of the things God did after resting on the seventh day. It describes how Adam was formed (not specifying if he was the first man or not) and placed in the Garden of Eden and then from Adam, God also created Eve. Mind u, all these seem to be taking place after God in Genesis chapter 1 had already created man (male and female) on the sixth day and given them dominion over the living things on the ground, air and sea. Also to go on to be fruitful and multiply throughout the earth of which I believe several humans were created on that sixth day and spread out throughout different parts of the whole earth just like He did with the animals He created before man. My point is, I think God made Adam and Eve as the first humans that He would have a covenant with. Perhaps this covenant would have probably extended to the rest of the humans outside the Garden of Eden had Adam and Eve not sinned in opposition to the plan of God. I believe this because Jesus Christ also came from this lineage of Adam in order to bring us (humans) all back to the covenant which God had already started in the beginning with man and Himself. Through faith in Jesus, both the chosen people of God and the gentiles are brought together to be children of God as God had originally planned and intended. Through Jesus, God still corrected the barrier that came between God and man. May God be praised for ever and ever, amen. These other humans that were already existing outside of the Garden of Eden in other parts of the earth are the people Cain was affraid might kill him when God banished and cursed him I believe.

Actually GAP creationism holds better. Wherein Genesis 1 was 4 billion years ago,then genesis 1:26 it was when the world and sun was recreated after the mass extinction brought darkness. In the recreation we mistaken it to be the first time being created,but this only took 6 days literal days a little over 210,000 years ago. So there were other humans made before in Genesis 1:26 and then later on another gap of time came about 6000 years ago where we have Adam and Eve. Their sin affected the past and future because they were supposed to be messiah figures and save the world from the Fall. Therefore the Einstein theory of past and future being the same,was true with Adam and Eve affecting their past and future.

I thought of Age day Creationism but the scripture said after each of the 6 days there was an "evening and morning' mentioned,and that would be about 12 hours,and so each day could not have been millions of years like their age day theory said.and then there is Young earth creationism and that would only be correct if the radio carbon dating methods were not done right and the earth and rocks and fossils just seem to appear to be older than they reallly are. yes its got to be young earth creationism or gap creationism as the truth,

Why there was snake/ghost in the Eden garden?
the snake in the story of Adam & Eve is symbolic to Satan (Rev 12:9). but the good question you just asked if WHY was Satan there.
remember that Satan wasn't always Satan and he was an archangel in Heaven. he was a Guardian angel for Adam & Eve. so this is why Satan was originally there.

my content was about God meaning what He said, but not literally. the most important death in God's eyes is the spiritual death, which is the disconnect between God and man.
living long in the body doesn't seems counterintuitive, since the purpose is to no longer live in the body but be in Heaven with God in spirit. if the body was the most important part of human beings, then God would not have created a spirit to begin with. since the spirit is the most important part of human beings, the body doesn't seem to be as valuable.

Verse 16 shown to us there was a land called the Land of Nod, which some strange human beings (i.e fallen angels who turned strange human) were living there that Adam and Eve, then Cain knew about, These were called the darkness and death that first invaded the earth when God started fixing it with natural habitants these was the land Cain was reffering to, he had a knowledge before hand, about this time that there was such land as the Land of Nod i.e the land of death or darkness, before he started heading there.
Remember God warned Adam and Eve about "death", and while God was filling the earth with natural habitants there was darkness on the surface of the earth which God seperated from the Light which he called forth in Gensis 1:3?
You see there are many things most preachers do not know about because they lack the revelations of Christ so when they come accross these kind of deep things, they began to assume many things that led them to great blunders.
You see it is the Spirit that search the deep things of God not senses.
You don't called a place a Land until there are living beings living or in existence there.
The Land of Nod mentioned by Cain is the Land of death and darkness which God's pressence once protected Adam and Eve and their first two guys from even after they were drove out of the garden of Eden, his pressence still protected them (i.e Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel) from those strange beigns from the Land of Nod.
But the moment blood of Abel was shed by Cain the cry of Abel's blood that speaks vengeance separated God's presence from him, and he became exposed to the Land of death and darkness, and that was the reason he was afraid about the people of that land because there was no covering again, no security again, suddenly he became conscious of those people in the land he was journeying to.
But Adam and Eve then other children enjoyed the covering till their death, this was why they weren't afraid of anyone (such as the sons of God) that may laid hands on them apart from the curse of land that came on them.
Now in Genesis 6:1 those strange men called the son of God began to manifested as human, and while daughters of men began to increased on the surface of earth, bible said when they saw them they daughters of men was fair they took them as wives....you know the rest of the story.

there are many parts to the Bible, and some of it does require interpretation. if it didn't , we would have no arguments between believers on what the meaning is.
we need to see the books in the bible do have several styles of literature too: narrative, poetic, wisdom, prophecy, gospels, epistles, and apocalypse. so understanding what we are reading, from who's point of view are we reading from and also the need to be lead by the Spirit plays a role in our interpretation.

Adam and Eve are not the first humans because in Genysis 1:26-30., and God says to Man and Woman "Plenish the whole Earth". Now in Genysis 2;4, you have the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Whole Earth versus the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were given a name because this is the Jewish line.
People ask where did Cain's wife come from? Where did all of these humans come from? e.g. The romans, The gentiles, etc. Well, look at Genysis 1:26-30. The Creation story at the beginning of the Bible.

That’s an interesting thought, and there are some people who say they died and came back …others say they went to Heaven and back…some people say they have seen the spirits of their deceased relatives…so it does come down to our faith and also the experiences we have had on Earth too.

This would explain the differences in appearance between humans around the world. I knew a man that passed away in his late nineties and he had twenty-two children. We don't know how much time passed before Cain murdered Abel. It could have been hundreds of years. This makes perfect sense and explains how Cain married a woman. Cain was worried that he would be found and justice would be administered to him in the form of the death penalty. Why would he be concern if these other people didn't know Abel and why would they care? They had to have known Abel and found out what Cain did. This explanation is much more plausible and doesn't contradict the scriptures.

Those are great questions…that should make us ask more deeply about what the act of eating the fruit actually means. To look at this story literally without understanding the symbolism behind it would make it very difficult to understand.
It's a cool concept. But it doesn't actually make complete sense. The fall is the explanation of how ALL mankind fell into sin. If there were men and women previously, that would mean there were men and women on the earth who did not in sin. But the Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Nice concept. But logic kind of kills it.
well, the logic of that also plays into Rom 5:13. The fact that there were people before Adam and Eve doesn't ruin the logic. What seems to be the bigger difference is WHEN people heard the law of God and started to disobey.

well...they were from the Mesopotamian region, so they definitely were not like the anglo-saxons we think about today. they would definitely look more like modern day middle eastern people.
thats an interesting question, that has more to do with the spreading christianity in the world. in the past, to make Jesus more acceptable to other regions and cultures, they made Jesus more easier to accept. eventually christianity grew biggest in the anglo world, and thats why its more common to see the pics of Jesus we see today.
