Thanks for the tutorial! When you say set the camera to 25FPS for vlogging, would you still set it to 25FPS if you were walking around while vlogging? I guess I am confused when we want to use more FPS exactly.
Hi Mark, I shot on a very sunny day and the video was too bright. When do you know when to override the settings you recommend to compensate for major variances in light distribution? The way you demonstrated is it ok to edit in post production? I'm confused but subscribed !😮
Hey David! Thanks for subscribing! Except for the suggestions I made regarding the settings, if you put the shutter speed to 1/50 It will be indeed too bright to be used outdoors, So you might want to play around with the shutter speed to conversate for the excessive amount of light coming into the sensor
Hey, David! It really depends. For moto vlogging, The reason why people advise -3 EV it's because it's going to be able to preserve the highlights more and you can just pull it back through editing at the same time keep a lot of details in the shadows. There's no right or wrong for this, +0 EV isn't always right either.
Hi there! Sorry to say this but there is no quick way to edit a vlog. If you use an app to auto generate a vlog, it might cut out some important stuff from your video. You're gonna have to edit it the old fashioned way haha. What app do you use to edit?
Hi Mark thanks for the video. Im new to video making and i was wondering why you referred to 25fps being more “cinematic” in regards to 60fps. I get thats 60fps takes up more storage but i was under the impression that its smoother. Would it be bad to record in 60fps all the time? Is it worth the extra storage usage? Thank you!!
Hi there! So more frames doesn't always mean better, it's just that there are frame rates made for specific things, for example 60fps is made for slow motion So if you're just vlogging, you'd have no intention to turn into slow motion right so the best frame rate to use is 24 or 25 frames per second which will make the video look as natural as it can post a shooting it in a high frame rate like 60 fps, there will be no natural motion blur because it was intended to use for slow motion. Hope this helps. If it's still somehow complicated let me know haha
Thx man, new subscriber here :)

Hi Mark again, lots of Utube channels recommended-3 EV for for bright light. Also Mlog (all for blogging btw). Why do t
You recommend "normal" mode?

@@markfriday I have been using LightCut it’s ok
What SD card are you using? I noticed that you could record over 9h with your settings.
Hey, man! I'm using a 256gb SanDisk Extreme Pro Micro SD card!
@@markfriday Thanks, maybe I should upgrade. Just using a 128GB so far.
