- On this week’s EFD 10, we’re looking at 10 clubs who did the unthinkable this season, selling a star but somehow improving anyway. On our list we’ve got some obvious candidates, like Brighton, Dortmund, and Manchester United, but we also have Serie A leaders Napoli, who lost half their first team, as well as a host of underrated European outfits, including Lille, RB Leipzig, and Benfica short of Enzo Fernandez and Darwin Nunez.

Nonsense list. Why do Everton, a team almost destined for relegation, feature? Lille that sit 6th on their domestic league, Real Sociedad that have kept their performances since a few seasons ago? Consider the fact he was the only one person who performed in clutch matches. He did save you in. A season where shaw, maguire, pogba Fernandes, rashford,varane underperform and played under 2 different mangers , he wasn’t never the problem. That’s why Manchester United fans are dislike by a majority of cr7 fans.

On top of this, Sancho is underperforming at 85,000,000€ but Ronaldo gets all the blame? United got Lisandro, Casemiro, Bissaka & Shaw are playing MUCH better and they’ve still conceded more than last season. The whole structure of United’s team was shit and that’s not on Ronaldo.

Napoli sold their starting midfield, their starting wingers and their starting center back and bought better replacements for those players

Ronaldo wasn't providing us a thing, him scoring was subtractive, not additive. It's not like he was doing things we couldn't have done without him, or making the difference. He was making us worse in attack all in service of padding his stats.
