No one plays or will ever play with more emotion, fire and passion than Gary Moore from Belfast, Northern Ireland. One of a kind. Seen him lots of times live. Always gave a 100 pst and then some.
This performance of Gary Moore is perhaps the most emotional guitar solo I've ever heard. Dude was outta this world when it comes to soulful solos. ❤❤❤
Gary Moore.... another Irish guitar legend, probably the best guitarist of all times and Rory Gallagher is in second place. I'm proud to say that I was on this gig in Stockholm at Istadion in 1986, an amazing experience that was recorded as a live VHS. I was only 14 years old and Gary's performance forever formed me musically. I'm now in the 50:s and a full grown blues man......thanks Gary for everything....❤️
I agree no one will ever play with more fire and emotions then Garry Moore and Ritchie Blackmore, those two are on a lever of their own and no other guitarist will ever comes close.
This my absolute favorite song in my absolute favorite version!! It has everything in it! I don’t remember how often I listened to this song! And the concert, the whole concert is a masterpiece. If you have the time and desire to watch the whole concert, do it! You won’t regret it! I can’t even recommend you just one song from it, you can try every one. Maybe “Military Man”, it has also a great Rock part, but as well slow part, both in singing AND guitar solo 🎸!
It can be very hard to really express feeling and emotion on electric guitar. But no one does it better than Gary did. So in control of his guitar, fluent and very emotional he plays it friendly m the heart and soul. R I P Gary.
Gary is and will always be the most emotional player ever live. He would be the only one guitarist who would make his guitar cry. I would also give credit to his band members who are also very talented, mined you, Garry is a perfectionist, he only get the best musicians to play with him. Lastly I’d like to give praise to the base guitarist, who hails from Sydney Australia, I’m a Papua New Guinean, and his neighbor in the North of Australia. You’re the best.
I can see how much the guitar speaks to you as it does to me and Gary Moore is one of my favorites. If I can suggest something that will speak to you as it is from Led Zeppelin live from Madison Square Gardens 1973...Since I've been Loving You..I like your channel and just subscribed
Stevie Ray Vaughan is the Texas dude you were talking about lol. Would’ve loved to see Stevie and Gary play together. I hold Stevie slightly over Gary simply over the fact that Stevie never played a song the same way twice. And although Gary had some FIRE licks and runs, for certain songs, he stuck to generally the same theme. Doesn’t bother me I love it but with Stevie you never knew what you were getting because it all depended on what he was feeling that day
Gary Moore RIP. If you like amazing guitar playing you should try Steve Vai with the Metropole orchestra playing For The Love Of God. Different style from Gary but amazing in its own right.
