You are absolutely right, it's ridiculous how difficult they have made it for such a simple task. Thanks for taking the time to do this. This is why Microsoft cannot complete with Apple.
Thank you so much dude! You're amazing! It's 3 am and I'm up working on a school assignment and this helped me soooooo much! You're a GENIUS!!! Thank you for helping me not yell at my computer anymore! Now I can go to bed! 🙏🏻❤️
Many thanks Bruh in 2021! Press & hold ALT + COMMAND + G, type backslash & "page", press return btn, click on "close" select the page and press DELETE. Simple! Thanks again for posting this video Zach.
@@lihlelee3826 when I tried this solution back in 2021, typing what I put in the comments (above) ↑ (ALT+Command+G) brings a pop-up window to input "\page" (backslash page) don't include the quotations. It seemed to work back then . . .
For those who didn't get it the first try, press the page number then double click the page you want deleted. It's supposed to select all not sure then after just press delete. It didn't work the first time I tried it but after multiple tries it did. Hope it helps!
Thanks for this post. This was very helpful. You were absolutely correct - it was ridiculous and difficult. After viewing several RUclips tutorial instructions of, "shift-this-way-and-click-on-this-then delete these" etc. - I was in an abyss of confusion with no results.
This is so f-ing ridiculous, been screwing with trying to delete a page for a while. Now I am googling how to do a forward slash on my Mac and that simple information is difficult to locate. Absolutely maddening! Thanks for getting me to step 1.
Thank you ever so much, totally ridiculous but Microsoft to make it so difficult, REALLY is frustrating that in 2024 we have an issue like this.... Top man for sharing this :)
@@akhilsnair4735 yoooo i was trying this video method but not working, so i scroll down to the comment section, and i tried yours, and it just works, thankyou so much dude!!
Didn't work for me. Using Word for Mac 2008, followed directions. Hitting delete just made the page selection jump back one page without deleting anything. Control+command+G does nothing. Doing command+G (key command for clickable menu item) opens the window you show. \page seems to do nothing. Then pressing delete does nothing. Page still there and selection jumps back one page.
It doesn’t work in mine. 1) There is not “Alt” bottom in my Mac Pro 2020. I have to use the “Option” bottom. 2) when selecting “alt+com+G” you verbally said “forwardslash” but pressed “forward” 3) After selecting you made some change but didn’t specify what you did in my case is giving me a message “that could not determine the destination, I tried to select the page number but is not taking it. Anyhow, thanks for your video; at least you did something Apple & Microsoft should had made more simple. What you did at the end, that small change is asking
I like your video because it is short and not long for no reason like some others. Though I tried it and I have a MacBook Air and it doesn't work. Can someone help me before I become carry!!!!!
Nice step-wise video. But you said "forwardslash." It is NOT a "forwardslash" it is a BACKSLASH. I looked at your screen. That's how I figured the backslash was not working. Your screen shows the backslash. i.e. \page

You explained how to remove the wanted page very clearly and to the point. Amazing presentation! You are the best! Thank you so much.
Yo - you are the greatest for this! Took me way longer than it should..
