it didn't worked for me,when i type /page and then click go to it shows "word could not determine the destination"

Thanks for the help. I had a page with no text on it. I knew if I deleted all of the text the page would be deleted. I followed your example. A blank section of the document was highlighted. I deleted this and the page was deleted. Thanks for providing valuable help like this.

actually, I was stuck in the middle of the table line which I couldn't,t erase by the line eraser tool, or select and delete option. thanks to you for the video. helps me a lot

Thank you very much. I have a question, how can I start the page numbering from the second page of the document. I mean for example, I want the first page to be numbered with " i " and from the second page to start normal numbering 1, 2, 3 ..... etc.

keep the mouse in page you want to delete and press delete key directly from te keyboard to delete a single not needed page
I have an extra empty page under the other pages which I really don't need it and I want to save the file as a PDF and this empty page is just disturbing .

This is more complicated than it should be. Why doesn't it offer automatically to delete the page when it's blank and has no text on it?

when i press delete it puts a comma on the page and the only thing it deletes is the text..

it worked on my second try
Another way:
1. Just Select all the text content in your document.
2. Cut the selected content.
3. Now press Ctrl + A to select all the pages and press DELETE. Now only a single page will remain which is the first page.
4. Now Paste your content that you'd cutted earlier using CTRL+V or Right Click on your mouse and SELECT PASTE.
just need a help...i could delete the page following you but the content of another page just gets misplaced after that...is there any way i can delete a page without moving the contents of other pages??

Place your cursor anywhere in the page of content that you want to delete.
On the Home tab, in the Find group, click the arrow next to Find, and then click Go To.
Word Ribbon Image
Type \page and then click Go To.
The content of the page is selected.
Click Close, and then press DELETE.
Delete a blank page at the end of a document
Make sure that you're in Draft view (on the View menu in the status bar, click Draft). If nonprinting characters, such as paragraph markers (¶) are not visible, on Home, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide Paragraph mark.
To delete a blank page at the end of the document, select the page break or any paragraph markers (¶) at the end of the document, and then press DELETE.

I am having trouble deleting a page from a Word document. This technique is not working for me because the only text on the page is a header, and if i delete that it removes it from the other pages as well. Is there an alternative solution for me? Thanks in advanec

Once you're on the page you want to delete, pull up the 'Go to' window and type "\page".

if the people who built word like they did at powerpoint, all i would do is right click a page in the viewer on the left and choose delete page - u know, something SIMPLE....but i guess that was beyond them....right?

Yeah didn't work. I highlighted it, hit delete, and it just un-highlighted it and stayed the same.
its not working!!!!!!!!!! i did it liek the video and like @evagabond said, and it adds an extra page, all the pages have footer and header, and its a CV doc.. it doenst work.
