I was on the fence about being a ProAdvisor. I ultimately decided to get the certification for two reasons - Continuing Education and free advertising. I have obtained one client for my efforts.

I think it’s dependent on location too.
If your area has a ton of ProAdvisors, you don’t stand out unless you’ve been around awhile.
If people are searching geographically.
Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but isn’t it necessary to be a Pro Advisor in order to access a clients company file through your Quickbooks Online Accountant account?
Hello. Nope that’s not necessary. You can access without being a ProAdvisor.
Only thing a ProAdvisor credential does is give you the ability to put a profile on the ProAdvisor database and use of the badge for marketing.
