Leakers: AHHH THEY'RE STILL GOING TO RUIN HALO Fans: .....how many times must we teach you this lesson, old man?! MS/343: I love the general audiences!
I hope the 3rd Party studios get some say when things just don't make sense for a Halo game. The further away Halo get from 343, the better. I hope they leave the IP alone soon and just give it to Studios like Certain Affinity.
I do not envy those that are left at 343. The next halo campaign will have to tie up loose ends from THREE PREVIOUS GAMES. Its crazy that the last three campaigns were all virtually unfinished. Halo 4, 5, and Infinite have almost nothing to do with one another from a narrative perspective..
@umstrife5654 Fans: We want [list of things from previous games]. 343: Are you people insane? There's no possible way for all of that to exist in a single video game. Pay us $20 for blue.
@umstrife5654 What also gives me a heavy sigh is the fact in forge pelicans are static objects for halo infinite. Why can't the devs just add a functional pelican? It's dead easy to mod them into multilayer maps throughout the prior games; like wtf so confusing.
But even if other studios are making it, we still have to deal with 343s lame ass stories. I don't get it. Back in the day, a new game would already be released by now 💀💀💀
It depends on how it's done. If the game is a sandbox 4v4 pvp like every other halo, it will flop. If the game has a bigger scale and brings something exciting like teamplay to the Halo universe, then it will be a fresh start. Halo needs to move on from the 4v4 sandbox. It's not fun to watch. It's not fun to play.
I think in order for the multiplayer to run, the campaign has to fly. Also If they make a multiplayer only, the only money to be made is cosmetics and it’s gonna be another micro mess. Not only that, it’s gonna even more gapped out from the campaign and may not even feel like similar games. It’s just too convoluted if they do it that way. I just don’t have faith in that idea. I’d like to be wrong though.
I could imagine a stand alone Halo multiplayer, but I don't trust 343 to be able to handle it. See, I'm thinking something along the lines of Planetside with role play elements like "SCP: Secret Lab". Specifically, it'd recreate the events on Installation 04, complete with a mechanic where attempting to locate strategic objectives could accidentally release the Flood. Players infected with the Flood would have to infect 2 other people before being able to respawn on their original team. However, they could stay with the Flood, and be rewarded more powerful forms. There would be multiple end states for the match, from a Human Victory, Covenant Victory, and Flood Victory. And if there's a tie, the Guardians Win.
@@TarsonTalon I think a multiplayer halo would only work back then. Halo 3 mythic was just that. It was an extension of all the new maps and playlists and it only costed once. If 343 did it, it would be riddled with grinds, paywalls for armor we’ve already unlocked in other halos and it would be likely far different from the campaign that releases separately. Meaning different armor entirely, different gameplay, different sandbox and inspiration. The problem with 343 is greed and identity. They are essentially “crypto” scammers with what they did with halo infinite and they keep trying to make “their own halo” when halo should be halo.
This seems much more like the COD approach, where 343 is in the Activision role, and if its Certain Affinity and Creative Assembly theyre in the Treyarch/Infinity Ward roles. I do wonder if 343 will continue to make Forge in-house, though, because its the one thing they've blown Bungie out of the water in for Halo.
@addisonpage1 it's hard to imagine it getting any more complex in the future. I say that, and then the next forge mode lets you add in music queues or something.
So this is why I've noticed the MCC population on steam is DOUBLE if not TRIPLE infinite right now. Not complaining, we all feel that OG nostalgia and have to relive it once in a while.
If this all turns out to be true, it could be a very good thing for the franchise. 343 have proven on multiple occasions that they can't handle the responsibility, and there have been voices in the Halo community crying out for a new company to handle the games.
343 should be outsourcing everything except licensing. Otherwise we're gonna get games written the same way the show was written. Executive Producer was Kiki Wolfkill for the show... the show that gave us Kwan... and Master Cheeks...
No campaign split screen for infinite, im selling my Xbox and going to PlayStation. There’s nothing keeping me tethered to the console anymore. Nostalgia can only take you so far
I mean 343 blew half a billion dollars on Halo Infinite. With all the penny pinching going on post purchase of course the studio that blew half a billion dollars would have their budget slashed. The only thing keeping 343 and Halo alive is the brand name, image the shit storm if they closed and shelved Halo permanently. It would be like Nintendo announcing no more Mario games, or Sony saying no more God of War.
Im not holding my breath. I will see the next halo games. 343 has been very hit and miss with it. They have done some great things. Done some terrible things. But we need new people. How about halo being handed over to ID studios
So they're still in charge of the narrative? Not good enough for me. 343 can't have any creative involvement with Halo if Microsoft wants my money. A whole studio of halo-haters should have never been put in charge, and now the arguably most damaging part of their involvement is the only part they control anymore? Cool. Cool. Not cool at all, like the center of the sun not cool. But cool.
Yeah Halo’s narrative is kinda in the dirt after Infinite. It completely derailed the story and just made some objectively ridiculous writing decisions. I get that they were backed into a corner after halo 5 but what they did in infinite was just lazy and frankly pathetic.
I would love to see another ODST game or a version of halo were we play as other species in the lore. Would be cool to play as a few different species within the covenant
This studio is held together by pure nonsense and idiocy nothing like Bungie why can't we just have old gaming back I want someone who wants to make a damn game not someone who sees in as their next paycheck passion is what 343 needs but they simply don't have any
343 is no longer working on the games directly, they are only doing concept, writing, management and oversight. So. The games will still be absolute shit.
Here's an idea for you why not just hire competent developers?? I understand that this is just speculation and rumors, but this is the dumbest shit ive ever heard. Microaoft and 343 has yet again stepped backwards. If they hire contractors back again then they have completely disregarded everything. Ego and ignorance is just laughable at this time.
I know respect to Bungie for doing that, maybe just maybe try and deliver on the original promise and make Halo Infinite, 10 years of campaign story it's already there to unlock and continue. 343 industries is on the right track, keep up the good work.
Not a fan of this. Would prefer if one game contained all of the content (Campaign, Multiplayer, Forge, Firefight, etc.) . Also would prefer if only one studio made the game (343, Certain Affinity, etc.).
None of this has been proven factual yet and just rumours. Even though 343 are currently working on a new Halo title along side Certain Affinity and hiring positions etc, how 343 are running the project productions and day to day workings has still yet to be confirmed by official sources.
One of the problems with the sequel Halo stories is that there's about four planets we care about: Earth, Reach, Harvest, and maybe Sanghelios. Then there's Installation 04, Installation 05, the Ark with Installation 04B (Oh look, Halo rings have been destroyed 14 times, is it Installation 21? No!), and High Charity. There's also Arcadia and Shield World 0459, but that's pushing it. Nobody cares about Doisac. We were never there. Nobody cares about Zeta Halo--it's clearly built inside of a computer program with all the hexagonal prisms. Nobody cares about Balaho--again, we were never there. Nobody cares about Requiem--not even the developers, because it was full of slipspace portals and didn't feel like a real place. And nobody cares about Onyx--it's a ripoff of Star Trek's Dyson Sphere, and it runs into the same problem that the Shield Worlds have--they're visually unimpressive. 343 Industries hired Greg Bear to flesh out the Forerunners. They should have been spending the last 14 years fleshing out the Covenant Empire instead.
this is the legacy of halo…waiting, and failure. ever since 343 started making halo it’s always with the constant delays, underwhelming releases that takes years of development to get to day one level. these huge gaps between game releases. (yes i know making games is hard) but when these companies spend 100’s of millions of dollars to make these games, and INDIVIDUALS make better games for practically free. i just hate it
If the studios working the new games actually care about Halo and are fans, then that’s great news! If they are contractors just taking over the role of making the game for 343, then that’s bad news.
No wonder why 343 is on a tight leash with Microsoft because when halo infinite released they cost them a lot of money and Microsoft did not like that so now they’re paying the price
Nah they’d have to retcon 4/5/infinite and keep halo wars 2 only and a few books and just leave chief alone in crypto to sleep and do spinoff with the original creators that were rejected by 343, and bring back Marty o Donnell. Until they figured a good story to pick up for chief after 3
This is bullshit why can’t Halo just be awesome again why why does Microsoft hate Halo and us and 343 what is going on it’s like where in a living hell cursed to play bad halo games
@@senatorsane MCC is pretty good now. Graphical inaccuracies were fixed and floodfight was added to ODST. There's mods on the Steam workshop. There's still issues (I think there's a community thread to track bugs) but it's my favorite way to play the classic Halo games now.

I think we should definitely be weary of 343 even just overseeing new Halo games… keep in mind that they oversaw the Halo tv show and look how that went… think Halo is just done for the foreseeable future.
I wish they made another halo wars game 1 and 2 were soo good and with HW2 they were going in a good direction but it just didn't have the hype around it but regardless i do think they need to do something more with halo seeing Helldivers makes me think halo would do Extremely well in that type of setting
To be honest I don't want 343 attached to any Halo project. If they make it or manage it. The damage has been done, multiple times.... If it's an entirely new studio almost MS/Xbox should rename it. Even if 343 is not the studio it was before, 343 being written on the box of the next Halo release means its DOA for most at this point. Everyone's given them so many chances and everyone is beyond done with 343. Having 343 written anywhere is detrimental to future Halo releases and sales
It’s crazy how they managed to mess up 3 Halo games in a row. Halo has been getting the Star Wars treatment from 343. All this good content and a world that’s already built for them and they still managed to mess it all up.
Remember how small bungie was at the start and they managed to create the best halo games , those days were the best and we will not see them again unfortunately.
This seems like rehab for 343. We're not going to see any improvement soon, and perhaps things were doomed years earlier, but change could be on the horizon with this level of detail being revealed. It's only just refreshing that 343 has basically admitted that they can't make good games anymore, and thus are being delegated to a participatory role by MS. We got what we wanted, but it will take some time for the implications to hit us

It was a good run that hoping for new updates by the community to make some cool new mods💪🏿
i think 343 would remake the OG trilogy than make a actual good new halo game.
Leakers: AHHH THEY'RE STILL GOING TO RUIN HALO
Fans: .....how many times must we teach you this lesson, old man?!
MS/343: I love the general audiences!
3:35 they did this for HW1, as well.
I hope the 3rd Party studios get some say when things just don't make sense for a Halo game. The further away Halo get from 343, the better. I hope they leave the IP alone soon and just give it to Studios like Certain Affinity.
So no Halo till 2033.
That's better than a 343 halo honestly
@@elpsykoongro5379 at this point any other game studio can make a great halo game over 343.
take it with a grain of salt
I do not envy those that are left at 343. The next halo campaign will have to tie up loose ends from THREE PREVIOUS GAMES. Its crazy that the last three campaigns were all virtually unfinished. Halo 4, 5, and Infinite have almost nothing to do with one another from a narrative perspective..
They're not gonna do that. Odds are, it's gonna be even worse than the previous installments. They are too arrogant and incompetant to notice.
@@DiscipleOfHeavyMeta1 you’re probably right unfortunately. 343 has given us nan reason to trust them atp smh
Lol that third party studio is going to take whatever they give them and toss it in the trash.
They should have just listened to the fanbase. This was all avoidable.
But noooo they wanted to shit on the fanbase and everything bungie related back in 2012 ....
@umstrife5654 Pretty much. 😮💨
@umstrife5654 Fans: We want [list of things from previous games].
But that would imply they were wrong and that they're not any better or smarter than the fanbase, which they'll never do.
GTA 6 on pc will come sooner than new Halo game bet.
Dude don’t expect a halo game for YEARS
Yeah obviously? We waited 6 years for halo infinite and 343 shit the bed, at this rate it might be another 10 years for another halo game
@@Uknown76 6 years and 500 million dollars for what we got in infinite day one....bruh.
Half a Billion Dollars for that 😂@@B1-997
Silksong will be out one day before halo 7
With MCC team leading 343 their oversight could prove positive. Of course we'll have to see when the next game is playable.
I didn't think my interest in halo could plummet any further. I was wrong.
But even if other studios are making it, we still have to deal with 343s lame ass stories. I don't get it. Back in the day, a new game would already be released by now 💀💀💀
Standalone Multiplayer and Campaign. All that means to me is two separate ways to monetize the game twice.
I will never play a stand alone halo multiplayer. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard for a halo game.
I know I’m just a reach kid, but I agree cheesy.
For me it’s just so hard to use, I’ve seen incredible things built
@addisonpage1 it's hard to imagine it getting any more complex in the future. I say that, and then the next forge mode lets you add in music queues or something.
So this is why I've noticed the MCC population on steam is DOUBLE if not TRIPLE infinite right now. Not complaining, we all feel that OG nostalgia and have to relive it once in a while.
If this all turns out to be true, it could be a very good thing for the franchise. 343 have proven on multiple occasions that they can't handle the responsibility, and there have been voices in the Halo community crying out for a new company to handle the games.
"You're inability to safeguard Halo, was a colossal failure."
"Nay, it was heresy!"
I think Id Software would make a good Halo game. I know it's crazy since they have Doom but i still they could make a good Halo game.
343 should be outsourcing everything except licensing. Otherwise we're gonna get games written the same way the show was written. Executive Producer was Kiki Wolfkill for the show... the show that gave us Kwan... and Master Cheeks...
But didnt you know, Halo needs girl boss power to save the IP? XD
No campaign split screen for infinite, im selling my Xbox and going to PlayStation. There’s nothing keeping me tethered to the console anymore. Nostalgia can only take you so far
Nah. Don't be stupid. Go to PC.
Go PC. Sony is going down hill in its own way. Bleeding money after the investments to move everything away from their main source of users: Japan.
go to pc
go to pc dude, playstations not much better, and you can still keep xbox gaming app on it as well for a best of both worlds.
@@sovietsomething I’ll be giving up on the entire franchise. Not just switching consoles
I feel like at this point it is just a revenge story from someone at 343 because they got their feelings hurt when they were part of bungie.
Doesnt matter if theres 100 studios if 343 conceptualise and sign off on product. How many times are we going to swallow this?
only words for the campaign… The FLOOD
I got a little jittery happiness when he said "343 will never be as close to Halo as compared to Halo 4 5 and infinite"
Mother
MS just needs to shut down 343i and create and new studio.
But cool.
343 needs to take their position out the fucking door
Dear god, now their gonna wreck my childhood... is master chief gonna take his helmet off the first minute on mission one
Glad I got gears to look forward to
Oh no the story part has me worried.
Yeah Halo’s narrative is kinda in the dirt after Infinite. It completely derailed the story and just made some objectively ridiculous writing decisions. I get that they were backed into a corner after halo 5 but what they did in infinite was just lazy and frankly pathetic.
love ur vids man thanks for making them. aaaand a noble 6 movie, its what halo needs
They'll be even worse.
LMFAO the possibility of CA doing a BR in big 2025 and beyond is hilarious
None of this has been proven factual yet and just rumours. Even though 343 are currently working on a new Halo title along side Certain Affinity and hiring positions etc, how 343 are running the project productions and day to day workings has still yet to be confirmed by official sources.
Mann, nothing better than two different companies making the same game... what could go wrong?
Give Halo a better life to lead...
The way halo comes back is focus on anything but master chief
Oh no what now
One of the problems with the sequel Halo stories is that there's about four planets we care about: Earth, Reach, Harvest, and maybe Sanghelios.
(yes i know making games is hard) but when these companies spend 100’s of millions of dollars to make these games, and INDIVIDUALS make better games for practically free.
i just hate it
Thank you for staying on top of things
Games are still gonna be shot because 343 stories and 343 method of thinking for pvp
They are going to call of duty method. Multiple producers working on multiple games. Smart move
really dont think they should have a handle on the story righting, the last few games were in a tight issued spots.
Until they figured a good story to pick up for chief after 3
i think 343 would rather remake/retcon the OG trilogy instead....
Proven themselves, yeah...ok, sure.
This is bullshit why can’t Halo just be awesome again why why does Microsoft hate Halo and us and 343 what is going on it’s like where in a living hell cursed to play bad halo games
I went back to MCC. Halo Infinite still feels like a beta
Beta for 2-3 years.
I stop after halo 4 because I don't want to be tricked again by something named after a ball that betrays or trick mc and thr co.
@@jpcarsmedia is mcc good (now)?
@@senatorsane MCC is pretty good now. Graphical inaccuracies were fixed and floodfight was added to ODST. There's mods on the Steam workshop. There's still issues (I think there's a community thread to track bugs) but it's my favorite way to play the classic Halo games now.
“microsoft has them on a tight leash now” hope that doesn’t mean we’re getting a price hike like gamepass
Imagine 343, just handing it over to obsidian or just a studio that has love and passion behind it. Bethesdas pride fuck themselves over. The could have have obsidian FO series and the could work on starfield. Who knows what politics goes on behind the scenes do to investors and stockholders

I’ve got contained enthusiasm for this.
Im just hoping for another fun halo game with a good story to continue on master chief's journey. Hoping for the best 🤞
I still remember playing the first halo in a shop. Desperate to own it. We have gone from one of the greatest experiences in video gaming to seeing it get eat up by a cancerous production company.
This alternate thumbnail stuff that I’m seeing You and many other craters use now was cool at first, but it’s starting to really piss me off. Please use it as an experiment to figure out how to improve them, then just stick with one. It makes keeping track of stuff in my feed confusing.
I think we should definitely be weary of 343 even just overseeing new Halo games… keep in mind that they oversaw the Halo tv show and look how that went… think Halo is just done for the foreseeable future.
Tbh 343 was to me a side studio i.e assistant studio
Me from 2007 would never would have fathomed this fall from grace for halo. :(
I think id be fine with halo 7 being campaign only, if it had some sort of coop firefight mode, I do think id be able to stand on campaign alone
It’s crazy how they managed to mess up 3 Halo games in a row. Halo has been getting the Star Wars treatment from 343. All this good content and a world that’s already built for them and they still managed to mess it all up.
I'm... Lost for words, not one, but 2 companies are working on Halo instead of 343! I hope they make a better game and bring Halo back...
Oh ya this is gonna go well, I can tell already (/S)
Remember how small bungie was at the start and they managed to create the best halo games , those days were the best and we will not see them again unfortunately.
This seems like rehab for 343. We're not going to see any improvement soon, and perhaps things were doomed years earlier, but change could be on the horizon with this level of detail being revealed. It's only just refreshing that 343 has basically admitted that they can't make good games anymore, and thus are being delegated to a participatory role by MS. We got what we wanted, but it will take some time for the implications to hit us
