The show is a pretty low bar but this feels more authentic yet simple, which is way better than the shows "bad dance moves" in every fight scene.

I love the style and the gore choices. Makes the combat impactful. Sword kill was cool and the head step was brutal. The zealot kinda went AFK at the end though. “He’s just standing there… MENACINGLY!”

Fun fact: That's what an overcharged plasma pistol shot ACTUALLY does to you lorewise. Covenant weapons are actually terrifying because the plasma is sticky like napalm. Even if you're just grazed you are in for a WORLD of pain.
And they give those to their cannon fodder crab child soldiers.
Halo is pretty grimdark when you put enough thought into it.

I love the fps angle you did that looked just like the CE hud with small corner smudges and particles that looked like the Chief had been running through snow a few minutes ago. The suit looks badass! The motion blur makes everything look smoother.. the only thing that bothered me was the stiffness of the Elites. They could have moved around a little more but besides that, everything about this was awesome! I would love to see more!

Damn this is really well made and pretty good looking the models are insane and true to the original style, but at the same time gives a more realistic touch that doesn’t look that “video-gamey” , Also the gore scenes are gorgeous . And for here’s some constructive criticism, I think that some actions need to be more “heavy” in terms of physics. For example, the first scene where the elite’s skull is crushed is well achieved, but some other actions don’t feel as heavy and powerful. Some elites have bulky movements and actions which give them the sensation of being clumsy and slow (which could have worked better on brutes), and the don’t feel really threatening when the fight scenes take place.
Any way, this is really good. Keep it going bud!

Okay not gonna lie, I was too busy loving the stylisation and overall immediate good vibes (I love H:CE with unbridled childhood nostalgia) that after the sneak strike... @viktorfahlstrom7489 i used a noise texture with some distortion. Its using a fresnel so the edges shine more. I had the emission strenght driven by a bone, and it worked nicely i think
