thanks for the help i have been working on building budget pc and you just helped me pick out a graphics card ! and hope your channel grows bro this is dope
keep it up man you will make it, i myself bought the 5600 xt at the time, with a little tweaking here and there in settings i can consistently hit 60 fps at 1440p which is fine for my setup. Great value from AMD as usual, lacking behind overall but you cant beat them for the value
I’m experiencing massive fps drops in every game I play. I’ll be hitting 80-90 in menus and/or lobby’s then drop to 12-25 in game. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I even have my games in minimal graphics and I’m still maxing out my gpu right around 96-99%.
@@mythicalboiii5448 Not a horrible pairing because your motherboard supports MANY other CPU's you're still okay to upgrade later, however my son uses a old Xeon 1231 V3 with this card and his old CPU pushes it to full utilization in 1080p. 3200G can push it up to 100% depending on your settings.
I found a brand new (still sealed in it's shrink wrap) RX 5500 XT 8GB on Mercari two weeks ago. The seller didn't have any other tech items and I don't think he knew it was priced pretty low. It was only $75 shipped. I just needed a budget card to play World of Warcraft with on a 1440p monitor with an i5-12400F. It does great! I can use max settings with only a few items turned down and with adaptive vertical sync on it's often over 100 FPS and never drops below 50 FPS except in big boss fights (and that's the CPU). I was a pretty faithful Nvidia customer for years but I think I'll be switching to AMD now. Better deal even if I were buying from Newegg or Amazon.
Just picked up a PELADN 5500XT for $110 on newegg brand new. My son had a 580 2048sp in his ;last rig and wanted to upgrade and make a white colored build so it went perfect for what he wants. I think the most demanding game he plays in fortnite and Guardians of the Galaxy.
I recently bought this card to upgrade my dated rx 460, Im playing all games in 1440p and never got below 60fps (BF V, Warzone, Spiderman, Valorant, CS2) its amazing pared with my i7 6700k 🙌🏻 thanks for the recomendation, it helped me to decide and its been a great desition ❣️
How much fps u get in cs2, its important to me because I want to compete more seriously.. :) I have lower cpu, but my gpu isnt bad rx 570 4gb and i play like ac valhalla, dying light 2 on medium/high and in cs2 i have glitching and stuttering and im playing with my settings on very low i cant get to have more than 100, 120 fps and i need at least 300 or more! Im planning to buy that gpu thats why im asking.
@@madman2538 CS has always been a CPU demanding title. I get above 200 fps, but I cap it at 144 fps to avoid that issue. Latency is good enough for me at that caped frame rate in 1440p. (Feel free to experiment in other res)
I just bought a budget gaming PC with this card installed in it, and I'm looking to play some steam games that have been out for a while like the assassins creed games, for example. I have an XBOX, but I wanted a gaming PC, I was thinking I could upgrade to a newer card if need be, the motherboard is the ITX type, so there's likely options from AMD. It's all AMD, and we'll see how it plays. I was also thinking some Crysis 2, so we'll see how that goes.
Great review. I was a bit surprised by your experience with Horizon Zero Dawn. I have the RX 5600XT and can max the game out at 1080p with no issues. That being said I don't know how much of a performance increase there is from the low to middle tier. I upgraded from an RX 570 8GB and the difference was huge. For anyone looking at this card of the RX 5600XT something else to consider is they are still supported with latest drivers but AMD recently dropped Polaris cards.
I bought it some months ago with a Ryzen 3 3100 cpu and it run perfectly any game for 1080 max setting and i bought both of them only for 100€ and i mean both cpu and gpu
I did a bench test on my Rx 480, and it does show that it is on rank 120 on the red line While the Rx 5500 xt has somewhere to be 50 rank or 30 rank, but it's mostly around the green line
Amazing ... thanks for explain in detail .. And if you don't mind I have a question am gonna to make upgrade for my card RX 580 4G and these are the available option ( GTX 980ti zotac AMP extreme - GTX 1060 MSI gaming x - Asus ROG strix 5500XT ) if you can help will be appreciated
I got to be honest with you here, the 980ti is ok but it has some issues with certains API, I would not recommend today, the 1060 is even slower in some games than the one you have, the only one faster is the 5500 XT but is just about 10 to 20% faster son don't expect a big jump
@@godofredo0409 not really. the 4g version is severely bottlenecked and its drivers will soon be outdated. Also, its power consumption is insane for the performance. Good card for the price? Yes, but gets outperformed in almost everyway by the 5500xt
@@splatinumm I was comparing it with GTX 980 and 1060. Not on 5500XT.lmao. Driver support is not a problem since AmernimeZ modded driver is a life saver. I don't use stock AMD Drivers, they are garbage.
Considering in my last video I tested a GTX 960 with Diablo and it worked really good at 1080p I will think this will have no troubles even at 1440p 60fps
Yeah well that is a rabbit hole and the thing is, each country has a complete different economy where the difference can be bigger but more importantly $60 could be half of what you make a month
Lets be honest we are all here cause we can't afford a better card haha
hehehe well but that is still ok the important thing is we all want to play games at the best of our possibilities
Just bought a 5500XT 8GB for £70, can't argue at that price, with SAM support will perform better, will review once it's here.
Type Shii😂😂
Lol even i have the money for better gpu its overkill for my games I play dota 2 only and 5500xt is just enough for a 140+fps.
@@ejayasaula true I don't want to overkill. But what if you still have a lot of cash to spend? Lol

0@@TarzacTunesSounds like a CPU or Ram Speed Bottleneck. Most likley the CPU because RAM will cause stutters.
Just bought one of these for $115 new from Newegg, hopefully it holds up pretty well.

Nice video BTW.
How do you think this card will do with a i7 12700kf and 32gb ram, until i get a
Amd7700xt?
should do ok
What should be my next graphic card to buy?
Can we do 1080p video editing using DaVinci Resolve 18 free version?
I bought my 5500xt oc in 2019 its still a good card and price its a bargain.
5500xt 4gb $80 vs rx580 8gb $60
which one to get for 1080p gaming?
The 5500xt is faster by around 15% but you get half the vram
