I have $1,000 PC Ryzen 5 7600x ,GPU 7600 xt and some used parts but sh** my ps5 still feels smoother I tried doing highest fps and then switched to best graphic and it just still isn’t as smooth as the PS5

Drivers are not updated anymore. I have this card since 2019, even if I have a Xbox Series X and a PS5, I play at some games on PC. I wonder if some people continue to develop drivers for it.

I wouldn't advise anyone today to go onto Zen, my AM4 time has [so far] gone directly from 8 core Zen to 6 core Zen 3. The 6 core is a much better chip, with Zen you'll always get random frame time spikes, inexplicable stutters, and the latency will make everything feel soft, not look soft like anti-aliasing, feel soft, like custard. Zen+ is better, so a 2600 or a 1600AF would be better.

My son has i5 9400F and 2060. He only plays 1080p. Should I upgrade it already or is he fine for a while longer?

Thank you so much for this video! I currently have a ryzen 5 5600x and RX 6650 XT. I'm using an older 1080P TN panel and I'm looking to upgrade. My 6650 XT is primarily a 1080p card, but can handle some games at 1440. I kept going back and forth between buying a better quality 1080p monitor or upgrading to a 1440. My biggest concern was upscaling to 1440 in the games that my GPU can't handle, and if upscaled 1440 would look better than native 1080. You are the only RUclipsr who answered the question and provided valid evidence as to how everything would look. After watching your video, I feel comfortable upgrading to a 1440p monitor and upscaling. Good luck with your channel, and keep up the good work.

What about if I use DLDSR to run my 1440p monitor at 4k then use DLSS ultra perfomance to render at roughly 1080p? Tried it out in a few games and it looked really damn good.

DLDSR with dlss quality is super clear imo. Fore example even if u use 1080p monitor 1440p (or 1620p)dlss quality looks much cleaner.

I have a 3700x and rtx 3080 along with 32gb of ram (b550) I can play God of War Ragnarok at ultra settings with over 100 fps there are very rare scenarios where my fps are under 90 so I think it holds up very good😊

I'm only doing sim racing and DLSS is useless, if you are already using a 4k monitor and a decent gpu. Sims like, F1, Forza Motorsport look absolutely horrible in DLSS. Stick to native, but is you are on 1440 or 1080, it is probably good and what it's for.

Protip: If you have a board and CPU combo that supports it, enable resize BAR and 4G decoding. It'll get some additional performance from the card. If I were to tag a metric you are looking from 15 to 20 fps depending on the game and makes games that need all the VRAM for textures playable. For reference, Visions of Mana had a noticeable lag especially when swinging the camera around but turning these two features on got rid of the lag and I can see that it takes more VRAM as a result so issue was likely related to loading textures.

sadly, it goes unexplained as how ray tracing affects CPU. Does it have to feed more data to GPU which does actual tracing? does your GPU not have the relevant drivers and has to rely on CPU?

Want I would want to see would be for neural textures compression or ( nvidia NTC) to be a new component of dlss . And it would be togglable just like frame gen and this time it would actually work with all generations of rtx gpus. Like Ray reconstruction does.🤔. More seriously, there is a strong possibility to be fine with 8gb vram at 4k with that sort of software 😅.😅 Or even .you can play at native resolution but you could put the textures quality to low and enable dltss to upscale the textures in case the vram was the bottleneck... We should already see sampler feedback streaming 🤨 ...

I have Ryzen 3500 paired with RTX 2060 I played Starfield, Jedi Survivor, Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2 Remake, currently playing until dawn too holding up well if the games are well optimised the combination can run anything smoothly.

The 4060 is one of the best cards outside of the us market, americans seem to think they are the only people that exist. Here in Australia, this card is about 450aud, pretty good price here in Australia. A 4070 is almost 900 dollars. It’s clear what the choice is.

I bought this card a few months before Corona, lockdowns started and GPU prices doubled. That was the BEST decision ever. All new games in 2024 are playable. I am not going to change it anytime soon.
