The completely unacknowledged cat interruption, the "too real" gambling addiction jokes, and then throwing out the entire premise presented at the beginning to just talk about whatever... 10/10, A+, no notes. Truly Ian Brutalmoose does not miss.
“Wow! You played all the games at the arcade? So which ones are the most ticket-efficient?”
Ian: “I have no idea”
"An arcade is not a place for fun, its a place for work" I feel personally called out here as an arcade employee
ooo spill the tea give some arcade tips plz
@@alyssarasmussen1723 the tip is that it's all rigged. Go for fun, not to win
@@powerchordgamer ty
Temple run is really good for tickets
@@aesonmendoza4662 everything has calibration settings. Most stuff at my workplace is set between 12-17% payout. Meaning if a game costs a dollar, on average it will pay out 12-17 tickets, with some people earning more and some less. It's all rigged so the arcade can't lose money
There are two things you can count on from Ian; great editing, and great hair.
There's a third thing. A gambling addiction
And great content
Life lessons I've learned since watching this channel:
1. Believe in yourself
2. Never sell out
Don't forget step 3: Gamble
I’ve been watching this channel for 10 years since back in the game review days it’s crazy how it grew into the perfect channel to me. Arcades, frozen dinners/grocery store treats, nostalgia for analog.
Reminds me of this lyric “if you weren’t real I’d make you up”
Me fucking too bro. Ian is a beast.
Agreed. When he was doing video game reviews, his videos were fine, but this was never really one of my favorite subscribed channels until he started branching out into other things. I do believe that's when his content really started to improve.
brutal foods may be my favorite
Brutal food i enjoy the most
There's something super comforting about Ian's videos. They're chaotic comfy
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Ian could talk about absolutely anything, and make it entertaining with his delivery and editing! He's one of the only RUclipsrs I have full notifications on. And on a side note, I'm surprised to hear that Cyclone is a scam game. I've won it three times in my life, and I rarely could afford to go to arcades, aside from the odd birthday party. Guess I'm just lucky.
EDIT: Holdup, there are Yu-Gi-Oh blind boxes?? How come I've never heard of these!? To eBay!
Oh yeah man I've bought magic blind boxes for years now tons of fun
My guess is that you just so happened to keep playing the game right after the people before you got it nice and warmed up.
That's the thing about "scam" games. Yes, they're a scam in that they're more about luck than they let on, but I feel like people sometimes suggest way too hard that that means the games aren't worth playing at all, when that isn't true. Because you never know when you might walk up to the machine while it's ready to pay out, and your luck will be rewarded. The important thing to know is that if you do hit that jackpot, you should walk away, rather than assume it might happen again.
@@gurvmlk I agree with this statement, it may be astronomical odds not that doesn't mean it a zero sum game. Other than claw machines, they legit have built in strengths
@@Greendawn-di3dl Yeah, but claw machines can still be fun in their own way, and I've certainly won them before. I feel like the main problem with them is that one might be drawn to going for an impossible prize they want most, rather than assessing which prizes are most feasible to snag.
@@gurvmlk I mean the ones with just stuffed animals, I get how ones with like ipads and shit are clearly unwinnable as the claw wasn't designed for those regardless of what machine it is. Otherwise I still find claw machines unfair in my opinion, I haven't won in many of them unless I spend a considerable amount of time and money to push a stuffed animal in the hole, I don't think I've ever actually grabbed one and carried it over; I find most carnival games more fair than claw games. Those are mostly skill with caveats you need to rationalize before you start. Such as the "throw the ball in a bucket" game, they are meant to bounce out; so aim for the edge and hope it rides it down slowly, or throwing a dart into balloons, some balloons are mis-filled so if you throw a dart at it, it'll just bounce off.
i'm never going to the arcade again so don't ask
ok
When's the next arcade video?
Why'd you name it volume 1 then bro
Love ya moose
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The real cheat code to getting tickets is getting good with Pop The Lock
Vailskibum? I didn't expect to see you here. You got some good memories at the arcade from back in the day?
Whooaa the gravity falls theory guy hahaha
Wait a minute Vailski watches Brutalmoose as well now. 2023 seems to be a interesting timeline to start out on. Great taste Vail. :)
Absolutely. Once you reach the point at which the button becomes an extension your body you can break the arcade economy over your knee.
Personally, I frequently manage to jackpot on ball droppers
I love the style of these videos so much, no matter what it is, Ian always entertains with a nice old school aesthetic
Brutalmoose turned my life around by helping me win that lava lamp I needed. I got kicked out of the Chuck E Cheese on Sunset, but I finally get a good night's sleep. Thanks Ian!
me looking for something to watch while I fall asleep:
Brutal Moose posts at 1am:
Me: perfect
is it a compliment or an insult, nobody knows.
@@ominouskelp1522 absolute compliment. I only fall asleep to content that makes me feel happy, comfortable, and content - I imagine this feeling is similar for others. I often listen to old brutalfoods as I fall asleep because the familiarity of the videos is soothing
@@MintyArisato na fr that one vid of him exploring the mall helped me fall asleep asap with the soothing jazz music 😂

Been hoping for another arcade video, thanks Mr. Moose
Please, Mr. Moose is his father.
That's Mr. McTickets to you
this has become a comfort channel for me and honestly i feel so at home watching these videos over and over as ive once seen someone else in another video say "this video has an endless rewatch value" thank you ian truly
If I had to describe this channels style of editing, I'd say "how you'd describe your dreams while still half asleep"
It’s 11 PM Ian I need sleep but I will watch.
1 am here but that's moosing time
Bro Monday's tomorrow.
Ha week fools, it’s 2am here
Every frame of a new Brutalmoose video fills my petty soul with absolute joy.
This sponsor transition is a work of art
Amazing hair? Amazing editing? Amazing deliverence? Yes please.
As someone else who definitely does not have a burgeoning gambling addiction(its just fun to watch the reels spin!) this video was very comforting. Ian, i also feel so bad for those people unlucky enough to be born with a disposition to gambling addiction. which i repeat, is definitely not me.
"this isn't a place for fun, this is a place to go to work."
- words that retroactively echoed through my head each time I visited Chuck E. Cheese as a child and had to spam-play Skeeball for maximum tickets.
Ian's talent for engaging people is off the charts. I've never even been to an arcade, have never had any interest to, yet I feel absolutely into it when he's talking. I'd love to see even more volumes
Working on my research project at 3am and theres a new brutalmoose video? This is JUST what I needed.
It’s 2 a.m. and I can’t sleep. Excellent timing
The whole tickets thing is so alien to me, since arcades growing up were pure entertainment with no expectation of a reward. Of course I saw it depicted in basically every American cartoon, but like a lot of things in American cartoons, I wasn’t sure if it was real until I grew up.
Absolutely love the arcade videos. Thank you based brutalmoose!
Man I dont know any other youtuber that makes me laugh so easily. Your videos are a breath of fresh air, no politics, no annoying jokes, just Ian testing stuff.
I miss older style arcades. Having 1 or 2 gatcha games is fine, but my local arcade did a full remodel, and the only games that aren't gatcha games are Mario Kart, Street Fighter 4, and 1 lone pinball machine. They have at least 30 machines there. It's so depressing. For context, I'm 37. When I was about 20ish we had a proper arcade. I'm talking UMK3, House of the Dead 4, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, a ton of pinball machines, a ton of racing games, etc.
I'm so glad a local arcade in my city hasn't gone the way of the gacha yet. Now if it just added a Daytona USA cabinet it would be perfect.
@@nmyster3201 everyone who doesn’t have one is jealous. America is dead
At my local arcade the Big Bass fishing wheel always got me the most tickets out of all the games, actually.
There also used to be some kind of ice/penguin/snowboarding game that gave out a ton of tickets, but I can't remember the name. It might be Deep Freeze but I'm not sure.
When I was younger, maybe middle school age, I found the Wheel of Fortune game to be my best ticket winner.
I've always had a way with timing and measuring things, so once I got the timing down, I was able to get the biggest results with about a 3/4 reliability.
the pirate wheel at 2:30 can be easily cheated, especially on older machines.
my wife and I figured out that if you spin the wheel EXTREAMLY fast with or against the rotation you can influence where it lands. Spin the wheel like normal, then continue spinning the outside ring as fast as possible, this makes the wheel slow down much slower. Eventually it'll slow down enough that it looks like it'll land in the rough area if the jackpot.
STOP the ring from spinning as fast as possible, then start spinning it the opposite direction, this gives you a little control over where it lands.
It takes a lot of effort, but it works. We where able to land on the 1000 5 times in a row before we both where so tired we had to stop lol
Your videos are so fun and feel comforting. I love the editing, your humor, and the music.
I was just at Dave and Buster's for the first time the other week, and I am going to be going back eventually. I must research. Thank you for this great contribution to my research.
Back in the 90s, my dad was a legend at Smokin' Token. The ticket counter had three digits and he would always be able to push that game above 999 tickets into the alphabet, lol.
Haven't fully watched the video yet but the ball drop game, crossy roads and the coin pusher that's a personal favorite of my mom, are the MVP. I ended up getting 2 stuffies and a ring at an arcade without even noticing I was getting so many tickets while playing.
Another banger, thank you Mr.Brutalmoose
there has not been enough time to watch the whole video
@@holvingar4375 no need to watch the entire thing can already tell its a banger
@@whitey2458 youtube deleted my comment (it told you to terminate your own existence btw)
Congratulations, it has been long enough to say this video was in fact a banger
@@holvingar4375 well thats not nice
I woke up at 5:45 am for work this monday and as I dreaded getting out of bed I opened the youtube app and this was uploaded
What a treat thank you Ian
The best part of a Brutalmoose video is the happy Jazz with the POV of Ian walking around, it brings peace to the soul
As someone who visits arcades just to play the racing games (Daytona, Mario Kart, Maximum Tune, Cruis’n, etc.), this was a very interesting and well made video.
Honestly I think you could probably make a whole video out of prepaing the hello fresh food especially if you threw away the instructions and had to figure out how everything gets used on your own. I don't know if the suits at hello fresh would like it but I would.
oh my god I love these especially because I don't really have the means to go visit much arcades anymore irl
i've been watching brutalmoose since he first released the kids cuisine vids a while back and every single time he does an ad roll it's probably the highest quality, funniest, smoothest, best transitions/segues into an ad that sometimes i forget it's an ad because it genuinely feels like more of his content. i'm inclined to skip ad's on every single other youtubers vids except here. truly astounding how he does it.
Ever since I’ve watched the video on Marble Carnival, I’ve unknowingly been on this rhetoric when I go to D&B for tickets, it becomes a professional hobby once I pass those doors & start playing for tickets.
I feel like a disciple for Ian Mctickets & it’s one of the greatest ideas if you’re going on a date with your S/O or interest(s).
Thank you for sharing the passion ❤
The real journey was the amount of tickets we won along the way and moose just makes me wanna go to an arcade now
Always look forward to all your uploads Ian
Brutalmoose shows up in my sub feed in the late hours of the evening.
Perfecto.
honey im gonna miss the birth of our first child
new brutal moose just dropped
Another masterpiece from the one and only Ian McTickets! Thank you for your wonderful editing as always!
It's Christmas time everytime you upload, merry Christmas moose
Commenting for the algorithm, because these are some of my favorite types of videos on RUclips. Love seeing Ian dissect the arcade
Very cool seeing you at the D&B I work at. My personal favorite game to grind for tickets on is the Cornhole machine. At the start of every day the score to beat gets set to 600 so if you get there early enough it's super easy to just barely beat the score over and over to get hella tickets. Hope you liked the balloon animal I gave you, sorry if it popped I was using a different brand of balloons than usual, and they were frankly quite shit.
You met the only celebrity that I want to meet (Ian)
Every time I see MJ my heart soars
I’m glad you made this vid, I’m going to a D&B’s for my 21st birthday next month, and I’ve been on an arcade content binge lmao.
my dad passed recently and your videos help keep things off my mind. Thank you so much
Monster Drop and other tall games where you drop balls into holes, often get great results if you spam it or are skilled with your timing. Do it if you notice 10+ bonus balls backed up.
There's a knocking-down-Coconuts game with an easy-to-win bonus wheel that is extremely forgiving if you down enough coconuts.
And of course, Pop The Lock is a game of skill. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Make sure the arcade prizes are cool and awesome and good.
Damn right dude, I needed this in my life with all this insomnia tonight! Clicked so damn fast haha
I'm glad Ian will be helping me enable my gambling addiction.
The notification for this video woke me up at 2am and I just accepted everything in the video as normal.
As a dave and busters employee, I would be honored to have Ian at my location
Funny, you should say that cause that’s actually my location that I work at
That fishing game is definitely tickets, though I might be biased because it's "multiplayer", and also we saw the golden fish and got a bunch of tickets for catching it.
Just going off of that Luigi's Mansion footage, I can tell you're missing the strobe juggle strategy that makes the game way more hectic and fun. You're meant to cancel your suck when you see another enemy and flash them with the strobulb before they hurt you, trying to juggle as many stunned enemies as possible to rack of the biggest combo bonus and negate as much damage as possible. With enough practice it's more than possible to 1 Credit Clear.
Also you should ask them to recalibrate the reticles because the ones I played were much more responsive than that footage looked.
I literally spit my morning tea with that Hello Fresh transition.
thank you for the new video ian, depression is kickin my ass and your vids never fail to make me smile :)
I never understood depression, but I'm not denying it's existense. If you don't know these youtubers, they would prob also bring joy. Mr. Skippy aka The LA Beast, and ofc the gorgeous Laura Legends. Hope you enjoy and get back on top. We waiting for you 🔆
Best way to start the day, a fresh cup of Brutal Moose ☕️
Thank you for a chill and cozy late night, I needed this.
The only creator that I'm eagerly awaiting their shenanigans. Incredible work Mr. Brutalmoose thank you for your service.
Hell yeah nighttime brutalmoose. thank you for your hard work as always Ian ❤
My boy is back with the arcade videos! These take me way back, believe me.
Always love when content creators hit up Dave and Busters, really miss working there sometimes, fixing the games, cleaning them up and helping people whenever I could (a spare credit or two, honestly I just liked making friends with regulars, easiest way to), etc etc. Gear It Up and the 2 minute to win it football game we’re go-tos, easiest ones to hit consistent jackpots on. Timing in gear it up is when the hole for the spinning gear is covered with the plastic is when you hit it, 99% of the time.
I love "staring down at my crotch and swinging my tiny bat". I guess lots of folks do, I mean there's a game right?
I’m here for Ian’s hair as always
I wish this video was 10x longer. Great video Ian!
I needed this video today, was re-watching your past videos & was thinking, wish he'd make another arcade one soon, then here you are in my recommended a couple days later 🙌 thank you sir!
Man I love and miss this channel so much. For some reason you feel like nostalgia to me. Idk if it’s the stuff you talk about or what but it makes me feel warm just to watch your videos.
I love your arcade themed videos but I do wish they were a bit longer! I could listen to you talk about arcade stuff for probably.... forever I think
So many twists and turns in this video. Great job Ian!
I remember seeing someone control the wheel when winning tickets years ago, as it slowed down they moved the wheel at the same speed and pushed it towards the jackpot! I used to work in an arcade for my first job at 16 so love this video lol
Always great to see a brutalmoose video in my feed. One of the few channels I can get my wife to watch with me.
Ian your arcade videos are always my favortie to sit an watch. its comfotable and fun and fills my love for arcade games.
I love your arcade videos man. So glad to wake up and see this waiting for me!
The way that bat swings reminds me of dinger derby in Mario party 5!
with "The price is right" Plinko, if you look closely the peg above the B is lowered just a fraction to make it unlikely that anyone wins the bonus.
What a blessing to see an Ian video for me.
I love your editing so much. Its silly and fun and makes watching really enjoyable and easy to focus on.
That was a fun video. Can't wait for Vol. 2!
Glad to see Ian hasn’t sold out, I mean, it’s not like he’s pushing Magic Spoon Cereal or anything!
Seriously though, I love that Brutal Moose just makes videos he wants to make, not following trends, just making great content by being a great dude showcasing some food, or showcasing a sentient chicken nugget.
The 2AM upload is much appreciated
0:12 Well at least he's honest about redemption games lol.
But seriously, as a long time redemption game hater your arcade videos help me appreciate them a little bit more.
ur arcade vids are definitely my favorite please make more
your hair is looking luxurious Mr Moose
Brutalmoose videos remind me that you don't need much to be happy, and that is such a comforting thing.
Thank you for letting us in such insider information~ ^^ great video dude!
Your arcade videos are always so great, love this one
arcade videos are always a treat, thank you ian
From one Ian to another, keep up the awesome vids, been watching for years!
Another fantastic production from our favorite RUclipsr, im takin these strats to deal or no deal next week!
The Angry birds coin pusher is absolutely NUTS for tickets. The power ups you get from filling the various birds' bars are really op. During the "tower building" you can buy more coins to make the tower stupidly high, and then you can push it off really easily. I got thousands of tickets & it's my go-to now.
this is the exact content i crave, thank you ian
Very informative, using this next time I go to the arcade. Thank you.
