@@levani117 rly? it got fixed for me, not all apps tho & apps like youtube scrolling still stutters slightly. twitter obv too but thats prob due to the app, website scrolling feels smoother most of the time unless its filled up with ads. - im at the point that its the own app optimizations fault... the biggest improvement for me was the battery, im currently at 30h since last charge (from 100%) and still have 36% battery left - (98% wifi time, 2hrs Chrome, 20mins YT + other apps like email, reddit, discord, gplay updates etc couple of minutes per app) - full res. & no energy saving + always on display for the time. before the update i had to charge the phone every 28-30hours on roughly equal usage (sometimes only 24hrs and had 10% left) *update: i reach 18% after ~42hrs - so mostly just standby time seems to be improved (for me) - on screen active time might be as "bad" as before.
Nice to see I'm not the only one who finds Circle to Search a little too easy to activate by mistake. I disabled it for now but hope they have a toggle later to decide how long to hold the home bar for.
Welcome back Damien! Call screening not working anymore after update. Needed to clear cache from phone app, uninstall phone app and reinstall from play store...
4:28 FINALLY, back to the days of Android 5.0, making the quick toggles actually useful again. Now give us back the 6 toggles like Android 11 again and bring the brightness slider back to only 1 swipe. They've only made the quick toggles section worse over time.
I hope they can add the update to hide the fingerprint icon on the lock screen. And will only show up when you are trying to press on the location where it's located
The first thing I noticed is that it now takes three touches to turn on or off your Bluetooth instead of one. Part of Google's ongoing campaign to dumb down Quick Settings, I guess. First they came for the WiFi toggle... That said, I do like the new "Share WiFi" button.
They took away "show touches" whilst screen recording?? That was the best part. When you showed someone how to do something, they could see what you tapped on.
I'm in the UK and have a 6a, which updated overnight, 18th of March. One "feature drop," I'm not impressed with, is the fact that the Fingerprint Sensor now has "haptic feedback," which I can't turn off. I always make a point of silencing all haptics (except dial number tones) and vibrations when I set up a few phone. If anyone has any idea how to turn this off, I'd be eternally grateful! 😉😉
After having my Pixel 8 pro since October of last year, I been realizing that I want a vibration on/off button on the drop down list! Having to press the volume buttons to turn vibrate on or off I don't like that. Anyone know if we have that available for us any other way besides pressing the volume buttons?
The notification areas colors are slightly different and when you enter pin on lock screen, the numbers animate to your material you colours rather than monochrome as before
Yay Damian. I like Jordan too so it is good to have you both on this channel. I am a little confused, do we get these new features before the US or after? On that very subject one thing I can't seem to get to the bottom of is the temperature sensor in the Pixel 8 Pro. Will those of us not in the US get the feature to measure human body temperature or not? If not then I will not be happy.
Disappointed that the circle to search and Ultra HDR photo upload to Instagram features are not being added to the Pixel 7a. I don't see hardware being the reason for the exclusions, so they are probably for artificial exclusivity of features to the more expensive phones. This is kind of disappointing as a 7a owner.

Pixel power! Let's hope both Pixel 7 Pro and 6 Pro keep getting even better. ✨
Pixel 6 series might as well just not exist. It seems if you have a 2 generation old pixel phone. You might just be left in the dust going forward
Yep. Me on the 6a... All I want is the motion photography features 😔
@@NotFireFly_ same
Yup, looks like I need to finally upgrade from my pixel 6 Pro

Unfortunately not

That's 100% app issue and the smooth scrolling. Turn off smooth scrolling and it totally fixes the issue.
A Wilde Damien Has Appeared

You showing me a phone on the corner of a table was very distracting XD
It gave me increasing anxiety levels haha
Welcome back🎉
Welcome Back Damien!!!
yay damien back awesome
Would be nice if they rolled out a pure black theme. Devices with OLED displays not having a blackout theme is disappointing as hell to be honest.
Welcome back
Hey Damien we miss you a lot ❤❤❤
Watching on my Pixel 6 Pro. Still great phone.🤘
Welcome back, Damien! 🎉
Yes love the Google Pixel content! ❤
Glad to see Damien back
I THOUGHT I WAS MISTAKEN A 2023 DROP WITH DAMIEN NO ITS A 2024! HES BACK!!!
Hey look! He's back!
Welcome back Damien 👍👍
Probably the most useful information given is the release date for the different areas, this is very helpful...thank you 9to5
Love seeing you again!
Now, just waiting for Google to fix Tensor
They took away "show touches" whilst screen recording?? That was the best part. When you showed someone how to do something, they could see what you tapped on.
Welcome back finally
I just updated my Pixel 6 Pro but the longer app names don't use two lines like you mentioned in the video. Do I need to enable this anywhere?
Same here on my Pixel 8!
Guys, anybody feels that the headset speaker is so loud while taking a call ? Like people around me can hear the convo 😂
Oh my god brother you're here! What a surprise ❤🎉..

Same as the Pixel 6 series users 😢,there's not much difference in performance between tensor G1 and tensor G2 at all.
7:17 78 apps to update. Woah that's a lot.
Welcome back 🤗🎉🎉
Wow times are changing Lol welcome back D
Damien
I want my wallpapers now!
Relax guys, he’s back!!! ❤
Ooh you forgot to mention that this feature drop also brings overheating and rondom app crash feature
🔥 Damien
Im in the USA and have a Pixel 7, I got the update today.
Can we all agree that the bluetooth quick setting update was LONG overdue 😭
Oh my God please never leave again 😭
Still no AI zoom enhancement feature that they promised at the time of release!! 😅
I was thinking the same thing
