    Ummm...
I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you Sue ( My tailor) for all that you do.
I'm leaving this to the professionals. 😄

Yep. I pay my seamstress $15 to hem my jeans (I like them slightly shorter than in the video). I'd totally screw things up otherwise.

@@MrSpocksbrain I hear you. It's only $10 for me here in Chicago.
These days, jeans are way to expensive for me to be conducting trail and error on a pant of jeans.
I am excellent at a lot of things, but being a tailor is not one of them. I know how to stay in my lane and stick to what I do best.

@@MisterMikeReal Totally! I'm in Australia and Levi's here are over $100 a pair. I don't have the patience or the talent required to hem them myself. I freely admit that. Although H&M jeans, I've just discovered, fit me rather well. May I ask how much "break" you like in your jeans? I'm 5'9" with short legs so I go for no break or slightly negative.

@@MrSpocksbrain Hello to Australia, I go with little to no break as well, although I am taller.

@@MisterMikeReal Nice. I feel like it's the best look. Fabric pooling at the ankles doesn't look good on anyone. And greetings to the windy city!

Done a little sewing myself, self taught, and this is the first time I've realized that I need to start with an anchoring stitch, instead of just at the end.

Thank you! Using the second method, I can salvage older jeans that frayed at the bottom from being two long originally.

Excellent video Antonio! I've been wanting to learn how to sew back on buttons using a shank too. Though a needle without a thimble makes for a bloody mess when I try to use it!

For those who cross their legs whilst sitting, remember to do so (sit down and cross your legs) before stitching so that your hem isn't sitting halfway up your calf when you're done.

Excellent. I always hem my own trousers and can do a brilliant job, but wasn't sure how to hem jeans without losing the orange stitching at the bottom

Video is well produced. Instructions are to the point. Excellent graphics. What type of thread and needle should be used for jeans?

So... The thumb has nothing do to with the video you actually see. Classic shameless clickbait. Why I am not surprised?
