2 weeks ago, I asked for more videos on alterations. You delivered. Thank you! I have invested in my own sewing machines and made alterations to my shirts. Now, on to my jeans. Semper Fi.
You can also use Fray Check in addition to serging up the legs to prevent fraying. I've noticed eventually the seams do fray even with the serged line to hold it back, Fray Check can be very handy in addition to that, because eventually the frayed becomes messy and or uncomfortable in some spots or you can still develop a run in the fabric.

If you have slim fit jeans and want to simply taper the leg opening should you tamper the jeans from the knee down ?
My issue isn't the legs... it's the top half of the pants. I'm 5'1" plus size so weight and height are two different things. I always have to fold over the waist but that stays for about 30 seconds. How do I make the WAIST less baggy? Please help! lol

I wish I would have tailored my jeans a long time ago before I got rid of them all. But someone put to buying Levi jeans the 541 my favorite jeans no need to keep buying any other brands hoping to see if they have my size.

Wash your jeans first before cutting to make sure shrinking phase is done otherwise your pants may be too tight

I think it's wrong to do it from inside....bcz u will destroy the jeans original double stitch pattern ...and without this pattern ur pants will not look like jeans....

Let's be honest here, baggy jeans to some women look stupid. But in some cases, for people with a more heavier body type cant rock skinny jeans, thats why baggy jeans are for everyone. Shirts is understandable but pants is up to the person's body

I don't think there was anything wrong with those jeans. They looked like slightly baggy straight fit jeans, which you altered them into slim fit jeans. Wearing tight pants all the time isn't good for a man, especially his family jewels.
