The mid to late 90s were the best time to be a phish fan going to their shows. The reason is is because every time they came through they had a new bag of tricks and they had a new angle to the way they jammed. At some point, that was going to be impossible to continue doing, but I really felt like they did it all the way until the hiatus. Fall 98 was a lot of fun, I remember going to Hampton and Winston-Salem... I had done lemonwheel prior to that. There was a lot more going on the next year and honestly 99 was a lot more fun for me, but you couldn't have had 99 if you wouldn't have had 98 ;-)
