I adore Tom. Admits his mistakes and wrong doings….and encourages change from what he has learned of those. He is a man of integrity and is an inspiration. ❤
"Never judge or limit an animal’s intelligence from the perspective of a humans limited imagination." Love that Tom pointed out an alligators world is different from a tortoise’s world. As humans trying to bond with them, we have to have an understanding and respect for the world of that critter or we can never enter their worlds. Much love Tom and @KampKenan ❤️❤️keep up the great work
Tom is such an underrated treasure to this world. He seems like a man that’s never yelled in anger a day in his life. I’d trust him with my life and he’s a complete stranger. He just has that vibe.
Oh.... Kenan, Thank You for bringing us back to hear these words of Hope and Respect . I have watched you, Tom and Stacey many times.... and I still have eyes brimming with happy tears. I hope that the rest of this year of 2024 brings we humans to a more respectful attitude towards each other.💙💜❤
Love Tom. A man with an immense amount of knowledge based on experience and he just wants to share it. Very honorable. You’re a good friend to him Kenan.
Kenan such an amazing video! I love all reptiles but monitors are my favorites. I've got about 30-50 Asian water monitors at any one time and they are all my absolute best friends. The relationship you can build with these guys is so special. It feels like such an honor and privilege
@@KampKenanis patreon tier still available for a dollar? Since RUclips has cut your video schedule uploads to two days out of the week. I saw that update about a week or two ago and yikes, I'm sorry to hear that Matt left(total bummer 😔) meaning it's back to you doing more videos on your own with editing to boot 🥾 as well 🤠. Let me know if that dollar subscription or RUclips members only mode is in the works
Wow so amazing...That's real respect right there. When a reptile just let you pet them. I like how deep you guys get with your conversation. More ppl need to think about stuff like this.
God bless Tom and his priceless wisdom. ❤ He has mastered his energy and demeanor, and THAT is why his animals are so receptive to him. What a gift to watch and learn from him.
As soon as I saw it was a natter with Obi Tom Kanobi I had to click it straight away, he’s such an amazing gentleman and I absolutely love it when you both get to have a geek out talking all things reptile behaviour🙌🏻🐢🙌🏻 Never disappoints! 🤗🤗
I absolutely love Tom!! Kenan. your such a treasure! Thanks for everything!! Keep up the fantastic job!!😀😀🖖🐊🐢🐍🐟Your wife and family sure are lucky to have you!!
Mr. Crutchfield is the absolute proof of how time and knowledge change behaviour - from being an importer who didn't _know_ these beautiful creatures had emotions, personalities etc. growing into an advocate for proper, caring husbandry because he learned. We can all learn! Talk about elder statesman for herpticulture... all bright blessings and good energy for that man.
It would be so awesome just to set n chat with Tom Crutchfield cause the wealth of knowledge things he possesses is outstanding he's the Pinnacle of reptile keeping to reach that point would be just wow these creatures ate so fascinating they know way more then are given credit for thats for dam sure I mean will never understand the full scale of what any of these creatures know and its always the biggest treat to see Kenan go to Tom's place
Tom is a legend…. The Legend. He has taught so many people so much knowledge all the while he’s been continuing to learn himself. I don’t know of anyone else with the level of knowledge he has about reptiles.
He just has a special connection with animals not everybody does and he spends a lot of time with them that makes a difference, but he definitely has an ability to connect with his reptiles. I think it’s amazing.
It's interesting seeing Stacy and her giant tree dragon interact with each other in a similar way as how I interact with my corn snake. Reptiles truly are fascinating once you get through the communication barrier and gain a relationship of mutual respect with the animal. They're so different, yet somehow so simple to understand.
Thanks for visiting Tom and making this video. Everyone should see this to get a better understanding of these incredible creatures that we care for. I really loved when you stated "hobby, if that's what you want to call it". I always push that keeping any animal as a pet isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle. A hobby is something that you can walk away from for a week or a year. We can't do that with the anims we keep. They rely on us for everything, and leaving them is neglecting them.
So true! I believe in every word. Again, Kenan, I can’t thank you enough for your correspondence. Erwin, is doing wonderful. Every time I’ve been to the greenhouse since my brother and I put him outside. He has been out and wandering around and doing his own little tortoise stuff. You answered my call in one of my, dark times of need, and, I can’t thank you enough. I want nothing but the best for my little guy. And your continued videos inspire me to continue to go bigger and better each day! When I am finished with my greenhouse, I will be looking to get a few girls to add to my heard for Irwin!
when will we get updates on your camp i miss it i like all the videos you are doing lately but nothing beats watching you work on the camp and showing /educating about your animals
I remember Frank Retes saying, contrary to popular belief, croc monitors were some of the sweetest natured varanids he worked with. They just have some serious weaponry lol. Incredible animals
As much as the FWC can be a pain in the butt at times, I truly wish I lived in Florida simply for the climate to have animals such as Tom's and yours in my life. It's cold in Canada! The only way here to house them is indoors almost all of the year. Not only that, but in my case, they're not allowed as pets in my region. So I stick to my wonderful Ball Python and gave him a large enclosure with a proper scape 😁
would love to learn from tom. His way of understanding the animal and how to interact along with the animal. the building of trust and mutual respect. It's cool to see the animals personalities they have.
Gotta love Tom! 😊 I sure hope he is able to impart some of his lizard whispering to you. Calm, no fear. You can do it Kenan 😁 like the movie After Earth 🤗💜🦖
Awesome video, animals know a lot more than we will ever know about them. Different animals have different senses that so much different and more powerful then ours. Love, cherish and respect our beautiful world and creatures that we coexist with.
Not to take credit from Tom Crutchfield because he’s pure gold and natural diamonds. But dang, the way kenan simultaneously operates the camera and holds a conversation, is so captivating.
I think that’s one of the big things folks miss about the story of Eden. I mean religious or not, a world where animals live in harmony with people is amazing to think about. I hope our society is turning more towards harmony
I have worked with one of my leopard geckos enough where she’s able to fall asleep on me, and just yesterday she was so sound asleep that even when I petted her, she didn’t wake up until I did a bigger nudge to make sure she wasn’t dead 😂 not dead, just having a hecking good nap

Love tom Brian you and so many others y'all are needed in this world to show why we need to protect them and inform others push the narrative to the moon
I adore Tom. Admits his mistakes and wrong doings….and encourages change from what he has learned of those. He is a man of integrity and is an inspiration. ❤
Agreed!
Kenan?!? You are amazing! Tom is amazing more.
Now you borh make me cry😢😮😅❤❤❤

Love that quote, you nailed it!🤠👍🙏
Tom is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs! ❤❤❤
Tom has such a deep level of respect for these animals and they return it.
Tom is such an underrated treasure to this world. He seems like a man that’s never yelled in anger a day in his life. I’d trust him with my life and he’s a complete stranger. He just has that vibe.

How awesome of Tom to take those 2. He will continue to care for them just as well as you have 😊
Tom is a legend. I would love to spend the day with him, at his facility, just soaking up as much information as possible. Simply amazing! 😊❤

Always learning from Tom!
I like that Tom realises what he did back when he was young wasn’t right. Look how far he’s come ❤
I could sit and pick Tom's brain all day. Such an amazing person.
Always enjoy a visit with Tom, a true lover of all animals, and a reptile whisperer no doubt. Thanks for taking us along.🦎❤️👍
