Hiiii i have some video ideas!! 1: Top 5 reptiles that can live in a 50 gallon 2: Top 5 Amphibians 3: How to set up a bioactive enclosure I hope you like them!!
@@sammymay5281 I have 2 Snakes. Snakes require a little less care than other animals, since you don’t have to feed them as often, but still a lot of work!
I used to have a beardie (RIP Long-Tail), and i have a 2 year old Leopard Gecko! Once i got my head around Long-Tail`s care, he was a piece of cake, and Rocky (the gecko) is super easy to care for.
I definitely think it’s worth having a lot a reptiles... Like it may cost a lot, may take a lot of time, but I definitely think it’s worth it cause you’re doing you’re best to make them happy, and it’s a passion 💕 not just a pet 💕 all 20 of mine are family 💕💕💕
I'd love your opinion on the best "display" animals. While handleability is important, some animals are always going to be more for looking at rather than interacting with. Like neon day geckos, tree pythons, and chameleons, technically you could handle them but people mostly get them to have a beautiful piece of nature in their homes. I'd also love to see a video meeting your entire collection some day. Also just to add, for the people who are thinking "wow that takes up too much time"... well that's true for any animal generally. Pet dogs require multiple feedings, the ability to go outside regularly, and a daily walk or playtime. A single dog arguably takes up just as much time as his 75 reptiles do to keep depending on the type of dog.
Ik u prob ain't looking for my opinion but.... I personally recommend larger species of land snails, provided you can find a LEGAL breeder. In the U.S this means the species they breed can't be banned, and they can't be shipped across state borders or international borders. But if you can find them, they're really cheap and easy. They also tend to move alot throughout the day. And they can be cohabbed. While they aren't TECHNICALLY a reptile, they're still wicked.
What would you say is the Reptile that really requires the most? And whats your opinion on false water Cobras. Also how can i get my patreon name Changed to this current one. The Ds Reptiles had to change cause currently already one out there to close in name. Thank yiu and love the content. Ima grab some merch next month and take advantage of the discount but gotta get a new bow for 3D archery this month.
I love this kind of video. Vlogs and day in the life are really interesting to me and often give me inspiration for the day to day care of my own animals. I already do everything in all the care guides but I like seeing what other people do with their pets outside of the usual care guide stuff.
I have a crested gecko. Their tank is bio active with spring tails, so I usually spend around 1 hour a week taking care of his tank. I clean it 1x a week (usually 20 min because the spring tails take care of almost everything ) and fix his food an water daily (5 min a day).
I just bought my first little danger noodle, a hatchling speckled kingsnake and I'm already in 😍 keep the great videos coming! From a fellow Canadian 🍁
Omg, we had a speckled kingsnake drop by the house last summer, 3-4 feet long, and the beauty of an adult is just 😍😍😍 stunning, they're just stunning. Congratulations on your sweet little danger noodle, there's even better to come
My wife and i don't have 75, but we pretty much follow your schedule, but we'll be tweaking it a little thanks to this video. You're truly the Canadian G.O.A.T my man👍🏾. Take care.
I have 10 reptiles and breed my own dubies and mealworms then sell some feeders that pays for lighting substrate and feeder rats and mice for my 2 snakes and almost zero cost for me to keep my little collection going.
Little maintenance tasks add up :) I find it a little annoying keeping up wi the feeder bugs, they need fed pretty frequently. But it makes me feel good knowing my monitor has a varied healthy diet. I'm enjoying raising spiderlings, but they take a lot of time. I have over 100 that need fed every couple days- I don't know how folks with multiple spider clutches keep up with hundreds of spiderlings and have any spare time. It's a long task. I love them, but I look forward to when they're old enough to have a new home and I can just enjoy my keepers for a bit :) But I do also look forward to when they're old enough to breed next year. I can't imagine having that many reptiles and still having time to hold them after caring for them, and working full time O.o
I have one suggestion. An Anole care guide. I know that probably sounds odd but I see a lot of different things that people get seriously wrong with them and that it would be cool to see someone on youtube set things straight
I’d be interested in a burmation video or series of videos. When and why to burmate, do we have to burmate, benefits of burmating, preparing for burmation, coming out of burmation. I’ve never burmated my snakes, I am also not going to breed them, the 2 I have right now are under 8 months old. I have a corn and a ball, I had to give up my last snakes a year after getting them because I physically couldn’t care for them at the time. My beardie was the only reptile that I have had that ever burmated and she chose to do that on her own, usually at the start of monsoon season and would wake 4 to 6 weeks later. This year she didn’t wake, she died in her sleep, she was just old. But a month before (after the first year) I would up her feed for a couple of weeks to put a little weight on her and the week before I would stop feeding her, soak her several times make sure she was all pooped out then give her cage a full break down cleaning. I think you mentioned once not burmating you Animals that you have them on a natural day light cycle that mimics the season. But yes burmation information would be great or point me at videos you may have already done. I just discovered your channel in October so I am trying to go through them. Investors been binge watching.
Thank you 😊 common sense for you my friend. But you may have helped a lot of people a lot by this video. Who simply just don't know. Or learning. Curious. So many reasons. But I enjoyed it. Thanks again 😊
With all the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance it’s just like working in a lab 🔬 only better because you’ve got gorgeous animals and not people fluids.
Would love your opinion on setting your lights based on daylight hours for your location. As a Canadian I am sure that you are aware of how short days are in December, do you think reptiles mind or benefit from the varied day lengths?
I switched my geckos back to loose substrate after I made sure they where pooping but I also upgraded them so now I have slate in the enclosures One of my geckos loves to shit on the slate instead of where its easier to clean :(
How much does it cost you on a monthly/yearly basis to take care of 75 reptiles? I've got 3 reptiles and it costs me $10 a month for the lizard and $26 on top of that every other month for the snakes
As much as I love owning animals It would be way too exhausting for me....my 2 birds, 2 cats and bearded dragon are enough for me lol! Just got my beardie yesterday! Trying to pick out a name. Its between Marley/Memphis/Calypso currently!
What does it look like? Calypso sounds like a really dark morph, Memphis sounds like it's more red, Murphy sounds brown. They're all awesome names, congratulations on the new baby.
Hi I don't know if you'll respond but if you do I just got a new bearded dragon and I don't know how to get it to start eating and how to gain its trust.
Unfortunately, twice in your video I heard you say the phrase, "it's a lot of common sense." You're relying on people to have common sense...excellent videos, but people can't be relied upon to have common sense
I just feel like 75 is too much, I wouldn't have enough time in a day to allow time out of the enclosure for 15-20 minutes each 😭🤣 11 was too much for me 😭
I’d love a cost breakdown for a reptile room like yours. I’ve never seen anyone really do it on RUclips
I can tell you it’s a lot more than you would probably like to spend
Ethan Cooper lol even as someone who only has a limited collection it is, so I’m curious about such a large one
