Which Toy Story franchise moments make you cry? Let us know below :'(
The ones that made me into tears are When She Love Me, Andy play with his toys one more time, and Woody say goodbye to his friends and family 'To Infinity And Beyond'
Jessie's Flashback in Toy Story 2
MsMojo this video proves y'all just be coming up with anything for a Top 10 sometimes
MsMojo Jessie’s sad story, “When she loved me” I’m getting teary eyed just thinking about it.
All of the moments when Woody was humiliated
Andy saying goodbye to his toys in the end of Toy Story 3 was beautiful and sad. It gave me tears of joy.
It really was. It really captured the reality of growing up, and letting go of the things that you loved as a child. 😥
@@trinaq definitely Andy also realized it's also passing of the torch and the toys will always be part of his life.
I know right
I think the thing that made me cry even harder was woody saying, "so long partner"
Same here!
Bonnie broke her promise of taking care of Woody :(
Not her fault.
@@disneyfan8719 then, whose fault is it? It can only be her fault.
@@juanperezlopez751 Not every kid's the same, woody clearly wasn't her favorite like he was Andy's.
@@disneyfan8719 then why in hell did she had to take off woody from Andy. She only wanted the toy for stucking it in her closet, what a selfish brat.
@@juanperezlopez751 No, she just grew out of him faster than Andy.
I too had toys that I ended up discarding when I was still a kid, it happens to everyone.
"When She Loved Me" always gets the tears flowing for me.😢😭
This song deserve a Oscar
Same here 🤧
When she loved me song
10/10
Me too
That scene literally kills me
To be honest, I think Toy Story 3 (2010) had the most saddest ending in the Toy Story franchise than Toy Story 4 (2019).
I agree, the third movie's ending made me cry more than in the final installment!😧
Toy Story 3's ending hit hard and close to home considering it was likely watched by people who grew up watching these. We've all been Andy. It made me cry in the cinema while thinking of the toys I had let go. XD Luckily I wasnt the only one sobbing cause nearly everyone else was too
Andy let Bonnie have Woody only if she took care of him. Toy Story 4 she’s all but abandoned Woody basically ruining the emotional impact of the 3rd movie’s ending.
@@cassandrasullivan_1 Woody had his second chance with a kid during the specials and the shorts, sometimes second chances aren't as long as the first chance is.
but buzz let him go bff forever
*Top 10 Saddest Toy Story Moments:*
1. _When She Loved Me..._
This song deserve a Oscar
Duchi yep
This song sometimes makes me cry when I was a kid watching Toy Story 2. However, it's still really haunting, even up til this day.
Yup, It hits you in real Life, Specially when you lose Close friends within time.
@@geviesanta3631 you're not alone
Let me guess. Number 1: “So long, partner.”
Nope
@@joaomarcus5099 Yup
Close. It’s “Thanks guys”
A touching fun fact: Disney didn't change voice actors for Andy in Toy Story 3; 17-year-old Andy is voiced by the same kid who voiced him in the first two movies, all grown up😊
For me, the saddest moment is "When She Loved Me."
Anytime I hear the song, it always makes me cry. It also reminds me just how bad growing up can often be and how selfish some people are in giving up their "childish items" (like toys.)
Toys may not come to life in the real world. But they're still an important part of who we are. As such, we should either still try to keep them close to us as a collection or pass them down to our children or grandchildren. We should never send them off into a storage facility to rot away
This song deserve a Oscar
@@user-nn3di3qb2q Too bad it lost the Oscar to the song "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins from the 1999 Disney film "Tarzan," another heartwarming song.
Speaking of the "When she loved me" scene, I heard that some of the voice actors of Toy Story 2 were crying during that scene and Randy Newman (the song writer for the film) was concerned whether to use that song in the movie would be a good idea since it could make a lot of kids cry.
I agree. It establishes the harsh and heartbreaking reality in the franchise that all toys will eventually feel the sting of neglect. What's even worse is that the feeling is one-sided. Since toys have to keep up the ruse that they are simple inanimate objects, the kids are completely unaware that they have hurt someone they once loved so much.
sadlobster1, I completely agree. One of my favorite toys as a little girl was this stuffed cat named Winkle. She was, shall we say, VERY well-loved. She went through many adventures. Unfortunately, there was one adventure she didn't make it out of. I thought she needed makeup, so I used my mom's acrylic paint to give her a makeover. Turns out, acrylic paint does not come out of plush. She was too far gone to be saved.
*Number 1:* YEARS OF ACADEMY TRAINING WASTED!!!
True, NOTHING prepares you for the emotional moments in this franchise!😭💔
Mr. Friendship EVERY VID UR ON?
The endings of Toy Story 3 and 4 made me ball my eyes out!!!!😭😭😭 It shows nothing is permanent in life!!!
EDIT: Thanks MsMojo for the heart!!!❤️
Likewise, it shows that growing up means leaving your childhood behind, and everything you loved back then along with it.❤
@@trinaq Yup exactly.... I am feeling that too often!!!
Some adult cry thing
Toy story 4 ending almost made me cry
When Molly threw out Barbie :(
Although I'm in my early twenties now, these movies will ALWAYS revert me to being a child again. From Jessie's "When She Loved Me" ballad, to Chuckle's story of abandonment, to the toys being nearly burned in the incinerator, to Andy finally parting with Woody... ALL of them get me wailing!😭💔
Who's Chuckie?
@@anar8343 The clown from the third movie.
@@trinaq oh ok
The ending of Toy Story 3 actually reminds all of us that their is a child inside no matter how old we get. The scene never fails to make me cry the same with the ending of Hachiko.
These toy movies are literally some of the greatest movies of all time
When She Loved Me and So Long partner still makes me cry. Poor Jessie, Emily abandoned her, and Andy heading off to college are painful to watch.
4:30
"No she only replaced you."😂😂😂
😂 ..the clown was wrong for that! lol
Savage 😂
Chuckles didn’t mean it in a harmful way. He was telling Lotso that Daisy only replaced him and not the other two because she loved and missed him so much.
My saddest moments: when Buzz is learning, he is a toy. Jessie's tale. Garbage truck. Harmony throws Gabby Gabby. "At the end of the world and beyond" 😥
That made me so mad at Harmony and how it shows how kids need to be grateful!!!
@@Im_niaxx Me too.
The ending of Toy Story 3 and 4 both made me cry in the theatre. Especially 4’s ending.
I think the goodbye of Woody to his friends in Toy Story 4 was the most emotional. No kidding, I literally let out most of my tears during that scene!
I just wish it lasted longer
I agree. Maybe it's tied with when Andy gives his toys to Bonnie.
Fun Fact: Toy Story 4 was the first Pixar film to make me cry
:(
I agree it was Toy Story 4
My ending with Woody.EXE was really emotional. My mother cried when Woody.EXE and my 2009 Woody hugged for the last time. Woody.EXE tells me that he can’t cope without my 2009 Woody anymore so we both reunited with Mummy, my 2009 Woody and my sister just 15 hours before Christmas. All 5 of us have never left each other’s side since our really emotional ending
Toy Story 3’s ending left me crying like a baby.😭
Lovely list msmojo❤️
When Andy gives them away and plays with them one more time always makes me cry
The ending of Toy Story 3 is the #1 saddest moment without question 💔😢
8:17 Rex: Does this does this mean Woody’s is a lost toy?”
Buzz Lightyear: “He’s not lost, not anymore. To Infinity........”
Sheriff Woody: “.....And Beyond.”
XD 😀😥🤕😩😩😩😭😢😢😢😢😢😢
One moment you missed (and it's short, so I get why you would): When Lotso breaks Big Baby's Daisy locket and tells Big Baby "Mama" never loved them.
I personally think that Jessie's story is sadder than the end of Toy Story 3 since it's just heartbreaking. Even though Andy giving up the toys is sad, I feel like it's biter sweet knowing that they at least have a good home.
For sure. Andy was never going to abandon his toys, even though he was acting like it. Jessie got ditched by the side of a road like a dog no one wanted anymore. WTF
Top 10 Saddest Toy Story Moments:
1. Buying a ticket to Toy Story 4
Michael Stuber true
Toy story 4 is the second best movie in the franchise
I've always get into tears of seeing Woody and Buzz say goodbye with a hug because that's the whole message of the Toy Story Series of their longest friendship . . "To Infinity And Beyond"
Tim Allen and Tom Hanks actually had a lot of difficulty recording that scene, because they knew what it meant for the entire franchise and history of the characters.
@@andyleclerc3600 Yeah, It's why I think everyone should check Toy Story 4 again because it's an strong message about Woody and Buzz's friendship till Buzz know what his friend wanted to he like Woody to listen to his heart.
I remember staying with Woody.EXE after the funeral of our beloved Queen Elizabeth and it caused heartbreak for my mother but she still visits Woody.EXE quite a lot
#1: The Plot of Toy Story 4.
Yes 😐
Jessie's heartbreaking story always gets me 😭😭😭
Number one : The Ending of Toy Story 3 ... i cried everytime 😢😭🤧 ...
Woody leaving the toys behind, Lotso’s backstory and when she love me made me cry with all of the toy story movies that made me cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Buzz: *"to infinity..."*
Woody: *"...and beyond"*
The most heartbreaking moment in Toy Story was the incinerator scene I was so scared because I thought Woody and the toys were going to die
Ditto, even though part of me guessed that the toys would be saved at the very last second, it was STILL an intense scene!😱
@@trinaq facts
Naaaahhhh its buzz, Jessie, and Final TS3 scene
I knew Andy playing with his toys one last time alongside Bonnie (the ending scene of the third film) would be the number one spot because that scene makes me bawl like a baby EVERY TIME!!! The ending of the fourth film made me cry too, but not as hard. I could understand Andy’s situation perfectly because I too “donated” some of my most precious toys that I completely refused to get rid off over the years because of either the special memories I had with them or the special places they came from (souvenir toys). Giving away your toys is like getting rid of your memories but at the same time you’re happy that someone else will be making new memories with them.
Totally agree about Number 1. The ending of Toy Story 3. It makes me cry every time. The moment when Andy says "Thanks Guys" and when Woody says "So long partner", I lose it. I cry so much.
For me when Woody said goodbye to everyone in 4 that made me cry
The line from toy story 4 "to infinity and beyond" it really touched my heart 😭
God damn it this whole list makes me cry everytime I watch their respective movies. The toy story series really tugs my heart strings every single time
Good pick nearly had me crying again. The end of Toy Story 3 had me in floods of tears. When she loved me was hard-hitting too, lump in my throat.
Thanks for making this video out of my suggestion.
While I do think the third movie has a really emotional ending, I personally think the fourth movies ending is even more emotional, because it does complete woody’s story, it feels like the end of an era, and i feel like I am saying goodbye to my childhood. I was happy that woody found a new life and purpose, which would make him happy rather than sad and lonely, as shown in the closet, but that also meant he would be leaving his old friends. The final lines both buzz and woody exchange along with that hug they shared, to me is really emotional (you could see Buzz trying not to cry and woody tightening his arms around buzz), especially when you think about everything, and I mean everything these two had been through since the beginning. When they first met, they weren’t friends, in fact, they hated each other, but then when they were forced to put their feelings aside in order to get back to Andy, they ended up caring about one another and becoming best pals who helped each other, rescue one another, encouraged each other to make the right choice, and were there for each other when they needed it. And to see them say goodbye to each other, probably forever, my goodness, it just hits. Even though it was sad, i will always love these characters to infinity and beyond!
I sure feel old I remember watching toy story when I was a kid and having a toy woody
I was 10 when Toy Story 3 came out. The incinerator scene scared me so much I didn't watch it again until I was 15. And the only reason I cried at the end of the movie originally was because my mom was crying, and that made me cry. But when I watch it back now at 20, I cry for a whole different reason.
@Nostalgia Kid
I’m nearly 21 and i still cry at that scene thinking about my nightmares when me and Woody accept death at the last minute, we never get saved by 1940. It was horrible dreaming of a grieving Andy
I always think I can watch the “When She Loved Me” scene without getting sad.
Every time - I’m always wrong
I grew up with toy story. Watching these just made me sob because I miss my childhood 🥺
We can all confirm, *We’ve all cried from these movies*
When Woody said goodbye to Buzz, I wasn't sad I was enraged !
I HOPE ANDY GET PISSED AT BONNIE
Dude I hated bonnie after that I'd say outside that one girl that got lost there want a single kid I liked in toy story 4.
Thanks ms mojo
I love the Toy Story franchise. Even though Toy Story 3 has the most saddest.
When the baby said "ma---ma" when the heart necklace was broken
the incinator should've been 1 instead of toys saying goodbye that was sequence of the movie first lotso and gabby gabby wrong for traitors even though prospector is one of them as well but when she loved me gets me every time
This is why I love toy story.
Why isn't no one talking about how woody and the gang almost died in Toy Story 3 ? They all held hands and quietly accepted their deaths. It was so sad.
I had that nightmare this February about me being forced to choose the rest of the toys or Woody. I went to Woody and took his hand. As we approached the end I accepted my death emotionally when Woody couldn’t but he had no choice once my hand was out for him. Woody then leans on me and then we died before getting saved by my beloved 1940. None of the toys felt heartbroken or any pain as me and Woody melted to death in a tragic way
2:14 Poor Rex was so worked up about Andy that simply "holding" him was enough for Andy to get his toys' attention.
Every Toy Story movie had sad moments... I can only imagine some emotional moments that'll happen in Toy Story 5 when it releases...
I always love watching Toy Story💚
Let's be honest, Toy Story 4 was emotional for everyone, cuz we all though the series ended. But to suddenly watch a childhood continuation with the same old songs and lessons was like a blast in the past
very very great fun list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever toy story movies are some of the best movies of all time
Awww when woody gives up his voice box and says good bye to Bo Peep in toy story 4 gets to me! Also Jessie's backstory gets to me too
Todas estas escenas me hicieron llorar desde no volare nunca más hasta el final de toy story 4 😭😭😭
Nunca olvidaré esta fantástica franquicia. 😥😥
I’m not only crying because these scenes are sad, I’m also crying from nostalgia
Toy story 3 is Now (basically) 10 Years old
Number 1: I will go sailing no more
When She Loved Me, that whole scene from Toy Story 2 is just heartbreaking
Who ever thought a movie about toys would pull on the heartstrings so drastically 😂
Andy says that Woody will never give up on you....if only he knew that his words were more than true:
- Woody didn’t give up when the other toys accused him of murdering Buzz
- Woody didn’t give up when Sid was about to blow Buzz up
- Woody didn’t give up when the rest of the gang threw him out of the van
- Woody didn’t give up on Andy
- Woody didn’t give up when he realised his friends were stuck in Sunnyside
- Woody didn’t give up when Forky ran away
- Woody didn’t give up when Forky was stuck in the antique store
- Woody didn’t give up when Gabby Gabby was rejected by the child she wanted to be owned by
All of these prove how loyal Woody is!
Woody.EXE never abandoned me in risky situations between me and Jessie. He even saves me when she tries to get me with a freaking knife but then Woody.EXE grabbed it off her just in time
"...as all kids eventually outgrow their toys."
Me, hugging my mountain of stuffed animals: PFFFFF
I'm crying your crying.
The toy story 4 ending hit me hard when I saw it in the movies
I think when she loved me was the saddest i literally cried
I think Lotso has the saddest backstory out of all the toys. He was abandoned and he was never given to a new kid, he was alone and that is really sad. For Woody and his gang, they were given to new kids which is the bright side.
When woody left the group
OMG I LOVE THIS FRANCHISE! always gets to me. I didn't watch toy story 4 yet. hopefully it's on disneyplus as I got the app just for my 5 year old little boy. I want to sit down with him and watch all four movies. but in my heart this franchise will always either melt or break my heart. beautiful moments you all chose for these great moments. I was only 8 years old when the first toy story movie came out
It is and prepare your tissues for the ending 😢😢
This hits different when you're not kid anymore
Why did I have to cut onions while watching this?
Their formula is that kids can handle anything as long as you attach a happy ending.
Which explains this.
You got that number 1 so right!!😭
Isn’t there a theory that Jessie owner the one that got rid of her is Andy’s mom? I kinda like that theory.
Wow ..that would have been interesting...
"To Infinity..."
"And Beyond."
😢😢😢😢
Can you please do top ten saddest SU moments next
I'm all grown-up but this video make me wanna play with my toys again 😭
I'm honestly surprised how hard it hit me when Harmony rejected Gabby Gabby.
I was bursting tears when woody said goodbye to thr gang. I still cry at thst scene
I kept all of my toys before of toy toy story to give to my children one day.
You almost got me, but I ain't crying today! 😂
I think the final goodbye of toy story 4 and andy giving his toys to Bonnie are the saddest moments of toy story franchise I almost cried of the final goodbye
#3 and #1 were just way too painful to watch all over again. 😥💔
I remember watching toy story 4 and being confused at the ending. Woody wanted to stay at the carnival leaving his friends with Bonnie but in toy story 3 he left to be with his friends. Not to mention, I wasn’t thinking it was so sad when Andy gave woody away to Bonnie as she promised to keep him safe but after all not so much. Still making me mad til this day after 3 years (and 10 years for Andy’s goodbye)
Number 3 the goodbye bit for toy story 4 it makes me cry every time
I'm sorry... incinerator scene should be higher
Number 1
Number 2, because I agree with number 1
Woody leaving the gang at the end of toy story 4 was just so heartbreaking. It wasn’t something he had to do. There had to have been some other where everyone would’ve been happy. He’s the one that started the whole franchise and the fact that we might not get another one because he’s left Bonnie now is just so sad...
But he was leaving to be with Bo, and everyone seemed to be happy about that. Sad, but a happy sad.
Jow Bloe yeah definitely! A catch-22 scenario...
@@BrennySpain - The ending actually surprised me, was not expecting that.
Was trying to figure out how Woody was going to get all these new toys into the RV and go back and be with Bonnie. Woody with Bo Peep was a better ending.
Jow Bloe yeah definitely! No way would you version of things have happened. There’d be way too much explanation behind it. But it would make a good alternate fan fiction though.
@Christopher Bingham especially buzz…
This is emotional I saw all four movies
Number one gets to me everytime.
the incinerator scene will always be the saddest part of all the movies to me! they all accepted their fate and were going to face it as a family
I remember having a horrifying nightmare about me and Woody finally accept death and we never got saved by my beloved 1940 in the ending. Another heartbreaking moment of my dreams was when Jessie screams my name constantly begging me not to die at 20. Woody couldn’t accept my emotions because he knew we were about to painfully die; that was the first time Jessie lost her s**t at the toys after we both died
That clip of Bonnie with all of Andy’s old toys except for Woody at the end of Toy Story 3, that has so much more meaning after Toy Story 4. Because Woody wasn’t needed or loved by Bonnie the way he was by Andy. So he could go off with Bo because he’d finally served his purpose.
I cried watching that part from Toy Story 3.

Toy Story 2 is my most favorite movie out of the Franchise. Jessie is my favorite character from the movie, and I can relate to her and her song, "When She Loved Me".
When I heard the song for the first time, I didn't understand because I was so young, but then I heard it again, and I cried so hard. I had a fear of abandonment by my own mother, and I thought I couldn't live without her.
But, then I learned that she was a bad person, and I let her go. She's not here for me, but my step-mom is.
One of the moments that got me was Toy Story 3 and she loved me from Toy Story 2
literally watched this after binging the series.
