I always wondered how Hector was still in the land of the dead if Coco is dead. Because only people that knew them in real life can keep them in land of the dead.
I saw Coco shortly after my father died and that was a big mistake. I cried so hard I gave myself a headache and freaked my daughter out because she had never seen me cry before 😭
Oh, dude, I am so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry to hear that. I can’t help but cry everytime at the end of Coco. The only time I saw my dad cry was when we saw Christopher Robin in theaters, it reminded him of his childhood
I lose it every time I watch the scene in Lilo & Stitch where Nani, knowing that social services is coming to take her little sister in the morning, holds her and softly sings Aloha 'Oe (Farewell to Thee), then opens her hands and watches the two small flowers she was holding blow away and disappear on the wind. It's gut wrenching for so many reasons.
I find the opening ten minutes to be so sad but not because of Ellie dying. What gets me is that moment at the fertility clinic when she learns she can’t have children. 💔
I couldn't even continue the movie, I turned it off and cried for over an hour, my mom had just died and my dad was all alone in that house they lived in for over 40 years, god how that hit like a sledge hammer
What was interesting about the scene with Repunzel's parents is that they are King and Queen.. Yet when they rush out to see Repunzel, they don't have their crowns on, as in that moment they're not King and Queen; they're mom and dad
The death of Moana’s Grandmother doesn’t hit me as hard as when her spirit reappears to Moana and sings to her... that really makes a nod in my throat.. for It always makes me think of my Grandma and how much I wish I could hug her one more time ❤️
What makes the end to toy story 3 even more heartwarming is that the actor who played andy when he was younger was actually him playing andy all grown up. It made it a truly tearshedding moment when you could hear andys voice as he gave away his entire childhood ❤
As a mother when I went to take my kids to see Toy Story 3, my kids weren't that big still but it made me cry because I knew then that one day they would also stop playing with their toys and well grow up. They are now, 22 (going on 23) and 21 years old, yep, watching that clip again made me cry because now they are grown.
Also most of us had been with toy story since our childhoods, and we were the same age as him in the first and second one....Depending on your generation, you were around the same age or maybe ten years older than him in toy story 3 and it was like we were giving our childhood away with him, and accepting that that part of our lives is over and we have officially entered adult hood. I mean we were already adults, but...but that made it official...Lol.
Oh my gosh! I did not know that!! 😭😭 Toy Story 3 came out when I was…I think 6. I grew up watching all three of them. I watched Toy Story 3 a couple of years ago for the first time in a long time. I was sobbing watching it. It was a different experience watching it as a 17 year old who was almost 18 than as a 6 year old

Coco came out 4 months before my Great Grandmother passed away, she died peacefully at the age of 92 and for her birthday before she died my little cousins sang Remember Me from that movie telling my great grandmother to never forget her happy family in the afterlife. At her funeral during the burial Remember Me (Lullaby version) played and I cried so much till I was dehydrated. Until this day whenever I see that scene where Miguel sings Remember Me to Mama Coco or hear that song it'll always bring me to tears because it reminded me so much about my great grandmother. RIP Great Grandmother Aquilina. I miss you everyday of my life.

A lot of scenes made me cry, but if I had to pick three, it would be Riley admitting to her parents that she missed Minnesota, the first ten minutes of Up and Ian giving up his chance to see his dad so that Barley can say goodbye in Onward. The scenes that made me ugly cry: Joy breaking down in Inside Out (“I just wanted Riley to be happy”) and the ultimate one, Coco. I ugly cried the first time when Hector sends Miguel back, and I thought after, ok I’m good. And then he sings Remember Me to Mama Coco and I lost it
How can you NOT cry with Elie and Carl? Even just hearing the music only, your ears think "hey, nice music" brain draws up the memories, and eyes start to tear up as you say "Poor Elie and Carl"

I couldn't believe that there would ever gonna be a Disney moment more painful than Mufasa's death until I saw Coco. Seeing a lost old mind remembering her past from a song in her final days is hardbreaking.
@@NikosTsoupI don’t think Simba ever saw it that way either. And then he grew up. Which is part of why he ran away from the throne, other than Scar’s influence of course
for me its the ending when the finale song stops at circle of..and then it continues to go on and be held really long at LIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! followed by the boom
I’m surprised Onward didn’t make it, that made me cry so hard. Also the part that did it for me in Coco was when he was singing Proud Corazon and all his family members were around him
Right? It traumatized me as a kid! WHY WOULD SHE LEAVE HIM?? NEVER GET THAT MOVIE AGAIN!! My daughter couldn't finish it, my son just stared at the tv with his jaw dropped for like, 10 minutes.
For me the scene from Coco is the most heartbreaking... I've seen Coco several times and can never hold it together. I have lost my father and watched Coco for the first time shortly after he passed and it was so difficult to get through that scene. The scenes of Mufasa and Simba and Dumbo and his mom also ruin me 😪
With Up, what gets me is the scene later in the film, when he finds that Ellie filled her adventure section with photos of her married life and then left the caption "Thanks for the adventure. Now go have another one."
The list that Ian makes in Onward with things he want to do to be more like his deceased father gets me every... single... time. Also when he chooses to let Barley say goodbye to their dad, even though it was his only opportunity to ever meet him.
An honorable mention for me would be when Keenai (forgive if I misspelled that) tells Koda about his mother's death. The truth can be a harsh pill to swallow. A child realizing their mother is dead is harsh enough but when the person that he has bonded with finally tell him, Keenai's guilt from his actions and Koda heartbroken is a very sadden moment.
That one still gets me, mainly just of how the scene is orchestrated. They could have had it where we hear Kennai tell Koda the whole story, but I think with the song playing in the background with only the important parts of the story being voiced out to us was a great decision. We see more shots of Keenai looking away from Koda because of guilt, but definitely Koda's facial expressions. Koda goes from being excited about a new story, but then we see him slowly get more and more scared and sad when he realizes where his mother is. In my opinion, it's right there at Bambi's mom. In Bambi's case, Bambi doesn't know where his mother is and that is scary to think about, but with Koda, he knows what happened now. The fact that you as a young child getting told by your best friend what happened to them is terrifyingly sad.
Wreck It Ralph gets me every time with the "I'm bad" speech, but more so with the last line of the movie. "Because if that little kid likes me... How bad can I be?"
Me (through the first few entries): "Aw, come on! Those scenes aren't sad!" Also me (at The Fox and The Hound entry): "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Also me (at the Bing Bong entry): "NOOOOOO! BING BOOOOOOOOONG!!!!"
Inside Up is a film that seems focused on gently and tenderly destroying you while you watch it. And I love it, even if I still cry saying goodbye to Bing Bong (and sometimes at Riley coming back with her parents).
I had the exact opposite problem. I was unashamedly weeping away right out of the gate...paused a bit at Bing Bong (sorry, but that doesn't make me cry; when Riley confesses to her parents, however... *sob*)...but at 2 (that insipid song) and 1...those don't make me tear up. And I'm the type who usually cries at movies.
Exactly my feeling about this list, half is just filler and not even sad in the slightest way possible. Bing Bong however... Man I was a 27 year old man, and it hit me so hard, there were sounds i've never heard before and I didn't even knew i was capable of making coming out of my face as I was watching him sacrifice himself and that "take her to the moon for me" line didn't help at all.
A lot of these scenes make me cry. The one's that make me ugly cry, even while watching this countdown, are The Good Dinosaur, Dumbo, The Fox & The Hound, Up and Toy Story 2. My 4 year old kept asking me what was wrong through this whole video.
i almost cried during Moana as well. i lost my grandfather when i was a kid and both my grandmothers. i know how much it hurts when you lose someone close to you.
Tadashis death is the worst death ever I was crying and crying and tadashis mentor didnt even care he said he had the micro it's and he was fine without him 🥺
Honestly I cried all over again at dory begging marlin not to leave. I guess it hits home cause I'm mentally disabled too and she says "no one's ever stuck with me so long before" gets me everytime
I have bad mental health issues as well, and having a character be portrait as a mental health person who is still cheery makes me VERY happy!!!! I know that others have mental health problems, too, but I feel like mine have really screwed with my life
Yeah, moment with meeting Kenai's brother and Koda's mother on mountain was defenitely the most touching moment in Disney productions. Even Lion King have never made me cry like that.
I cried most of all, Walle losing his memory, Bingbong disappearing, Hector being forgotten, Miguel crying, all of the Up scenes and Woody leaving the team just for Bo
The death scenes in Princess and the frog and The Lion King always make my heart ache. The song remember me always made me cry because It was a sad and happy moment at the same time to me. I basically cried through this whole video.
So glad they did lion King as number one. I still can’t watch it without tearing up. And I’ve seen it like 1 million times. Of course I’m speaking of the original 90s version.
Man oh man. Mufasa's death will never be topped. My niece went thru toddler phase where she wanted to watch lion King everyday so I had to literally go through that moment every damn day and cry every damn time. Also I have a 19 month old son. Ive sang "Baby Mine" to him since he was in the womb. I can still never sing it without my voice shaking. The song hits differently when you're an actual mother and putting yourself in the mind of mama elephant 🥺
When Miguel sings Remember Me with her great Grandma Coco at the end, I bawl like a baby, Everytime I watch this scene. I never saw my Grandma as she died after my father was born. That's why my father named me after her mother. Everytime I watch this, I feel sad!! 😔
Mufasa's death scarred me for life. And still does to this day 😭😭 Other moments that always make me (ugly) cry are Dumbo seeing his mother, Todd being left in the woods in order to stay safe, and - although it wasn't listed - the dog pound scene in Lady and the Tramp 💔💔
In the movie Oliver and company (1988) it was truly heartbreaking and unfair when all the kittens found a home exept for poor Oliver. They all found warm dry homes . No one wanted poor Oliver and he was out lost and alone and was caught in a rainstorm cold, wet and scared. That still makes me cry and I am 20 years old.
Omg same! Things with animals always have a special place in my heart, amprothomortic or not. Remember me also hit hard too. My favorite movie is Zootopia, and I do love fox and the hound, coco and lion king
"Baby of Mine" makes my Mom cry Every time! Also, I cried when Todd had to be let go by his caretaker. Also, "Toy Story 3", "CoCo", "Toy Story 2", and "Up".
More than the initial sequence, the scene in "Up" when Carl finds out the photos that Ellie put together in her book, and finished with "Thanks for the great adventure!" That part made me ugly sob in theaters.
Todd being left in the woods gets me every time 😭 He is just so oblivious to want was happening and his confused face when his owner started to drive away i-
Nobody pretty cries. At least, not from the sacred deep place within your soul. Its all the pent up emotions we've held back, denied, or needed something to connect with to bring it out.
The fact that at least one Big Hero 6 scene is in this video made me shed a tear! But personally, i would have added Tadashi's death... it made me so sad that Hiro lost one of the most important members of his family... 💔
Personally my #1 was the fox and the hound one. just hearing the tune of "Goodbye may seem forever" makes me cry! And the long monologue before she drops him off makes it even more heart wrenching. 😭😭😭😭
All of these scenes are sad and will make you cry, but none are sadder and more tear-jerking than Mufasa’s death. I still cry every time I see it, and I’ve seen the movie lots of times.
I feel like the fact that it is so sad makes it less sad. Yes i am a strange person. I cried the first time i watched it but every other time i just am sad. Tears dont roll down my face anymore
I Gotta admit that the agonizing "Dad come on... You gotta get up!" line from Simba that brought so many of us into tears is truly the #1 most memorable moment in a Disney movie.
Re-watching all of these is breaking my heart These scenes are beautiful and will always have a place in my heart I grew up with these Disney movies every single one and it's hard to decide witch scenes hits me harder but bottom line is Disney movies are awesome
The moments that made me cry is Gramma Tala’s Death, Sulley Saying Goodbye, The Razed Village, WALL-E almost dying, Sad Song for Tod being in the Woods, Baby Mine, Bambi’s Mom Dying, Ray’s Funeral, Miguel Singing to His Grandma Coco, Jessie’s Backstory, Best Friends Part Ways and Mufasa’s Death. I don’t think I can stop crying at those parts. Especially for Coco. Sometimes I feel my heart crying than actually crying.
Thank you for those who gave me more thumbs up. I’ve loved disney and Pixar when I was little then a teen during the marvel. I 😢 don’t know 😢 what 😢 hit me harder to burst into tears. I really don’t know what. It’s so hard to choose but I’m in between a heart aching mix of Yandu dying, Wall-E dies, Miguel singing, Mufasa’s death, Gamora’s demise, Rays Funeral and others. 😢😢😢
Nooo.. for Mulan I cried when she came back to her father bearing gifts from the emperor only to be shoved away bcs "the greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter". It just hits hard for me man 😭
Fayla the fox, I don’t know why but Nani’s reaction to seeing Lilo being taken by Gantu is just as sad. Just, she just lost her only sister, the last member of her family.
Coming from a highly sensitive person, you have no idea how much I've ugly cried during movies and tried to hold my tears because my brother would make fun of me And trust me, ugly cries are named so for a reason, and it ain't pretty...

Tbh as an adult the part in Lion King that gets me is when Simba sees his dad in the clouds and he’s afraid he’s never gonna live up to his legacy
for me its the ending when the finale song stops at circle of..and then it continues to go on and be held really long at LIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! followed by the boom
“take her to the moon for me, ok” 🥺💔
💔I'll Try, Bing-Bong.💔
😞
Rip Bing-Bong💔
It gets you in the heart ❤️❤️💔
Bing bong 😭😭😭😭
I’m surprised Onward didn’t make it, that made me cry so hard. Also the part that did it for me in Coco was when he was singing Proud Corazon and all his family members were around him
Agreed! That ending even makes my husband tear up, and he never cries
Omg onward was beautiful what made me cry even more was the check list and remembering the moments that he had with his brother was so sweet. 🥺
Bella D Awesome what did it for me was when Ian sacrificed seeing his dad for the first time so Barley could say goodbye 🥺
Onward is so good, I cried so so hard
Maybe they left it out because it's too new. Sure, they had the spoiler warning, but it is a much newer movie than the rest.
Fox and the Hound, the only Disney movie I have never been able to re-watch 😭
Right? It traumatized me as a kid! WHY WOULD SHE LEAVE HIM?? NEVER GET THAT MOVIE AGAIN!! My daughter couldn't finish it, my son just stared at the tv with his jaw dropped for like, 10 minutes.
I just lost 2 guinea pigs, so that scene hits really hard. I've had to put down pets, and Waycross acouple pass. It gets harder every time
For me the scene from Coco is the most heartbreaking...
That part gets me too 😫
Both the beginning and that seem make me ugly cry. I have to have a Costco size box of Kleenex handy any time I watch it.
Joshua Wells, I love that part. As overrated as I find Up, that part gets me
Up in general makes me ugly cry
21:17 what's even worse is that scar blamed it on simba but since simba is too young to understand how Mufasa died he took the blame 💔💔💔
...true
omg😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢
I started getting teary just by watching this video.
SAME I LITERALLY CRYED
Same
Same
?
What movie is this?
EVERY time that scene from Coco is played I tear up. I knew it'd be on this list but still wasnt prepared for the two minutes of crying lol
But it is just a movie lol XD crybaby 😂😂😂
A movie that faces the inevitably of death
No one:
Me while watching this: **chokes on tears**

@@bekleedee yeah I had a friend that had to let go of a fox and they had a REALLY close relationship
@@hermionegranger80 I hope they're ok :(
I STILL get emotional with that scene from Fox and the Hound!
Wreck It Ralph gets me every time with the "I'm bad" speech, but more so with the last line of the movie. "Because if that little kid likes me... How bad can I be?"
Me (through the first few entries): "Aw, come on! Those scenes aren't sad!"
Also me (at The Fox and The Hound entry): "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Also me (at the Bing Bong entry): "NOOOOOO! BING BOOOOOOOOONG!!!!"
Inside Up is a film that seems focused on gently and tenderly destroying you while you watch it.
And I love it, even if I still cry saying goodbye to Bing Bong (and sometimes at Riley coming back with her parents).
Caleb Begley SAMEE
Same, I cry every time at these scenes, the others not so much. Tho, the Coco clip and the Dumbo clip got me a bit misty eyed.
A lot of these scenes make me cry. The one's that make me ugly cry, even while watching this countdown, are The Good Dinosaur, Dumbo, The Fox & The Hound, Up and Toy Story 2. My 4 year old kept asking me what was wrong through this whole video.
I actually started bawling my eyes out during Moana. I've lost a grandparent, and I know how much it hurts
Ditto! My maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents are dead. 😭
@@ChibiProwl I only have my paternal grandmother alive. I only met her
i almost cried during Moana as well. i lost my grandfather when i was a kid and both my grandmothers. i know how much it hurts when you lose someone close to you.
I was late to see Moana. I actually saw that movie a few months after my grandmother passed away.
Same here :(( I miss you mama
Tadashis death is the worst death ever I was crying and crying and tadashis mentor didnt even care he said he had the micro it's and he was fine without him 🥺
Honestly I cried all over again at dory begging marlin not to leave. I guess it hits home cause I'm mentally disabled too and she says "no one's ever stuck with me so long before" gets me everytime
I have bad mental health issues as well, and having a character be portrait as a mental health person who is still cheery makes me VERY happy!!!! I know that others have mental health problems, too, but I feel like mine have really screwed with my life
Toy Story 3 ‘s 😭 incinerator scene had me bawling in the theater.
Im Surprised brother bear didnt make it that always makes me ugly cry so bad
Yeah, moment with meeting Kenai's brother and Koda's mother on mountain was defenitely the most touching moment in Disney productions. Even Lion King have never made me cry like that.
I cried most of all, Walle losing his memory, Bingbong disappearing, Hector being forgotten, Miguel crying, all of the Up scenes and Woody leaving the team just for Bo
I feel your pain bro
Woody leaving isn't sad, it's just poor writing and a spit in the face of the first three movies
Why is No one sad during marlin losing his wife and almost all of his kids to a beracuda attack
Hey, Toy Story 4 doesn't have had writing.
The death scenes in Princess and the frog and The Lion King always make my heart ache. The song remember me always made me cry because It was a sad and happy moment at the same time to me. I basically cried through this whole video.
Tod being left in the woods makes me cry so hard every time till this day!
I lost it at Tod being left in the wood. I'm already ugly crying
I know! I can't watch that movie anymore because I won't sleep for a week. I'll just cry

“I’m bad and that’s good
I will never be good and that’s not bad
There’s no one I’d rather be than me”
9 year old me felt that
I was expecting this to be on the list. Imagine if Ralph had died. That may have taken my number one spot if he did.
When you realize the ralph film is less then 8 years old:
That scene should've been on the list
"To infinity..."
"... And beyond."
- Toy Story 4
AHHHH IM BAWLING
And still does to this day 😭😭
Other moments that always make me (ugly) cry are Dumbo seeing his mother, Todd being left in the woods in order to stay safe, and - although it wasn't listed - the dog pound scene in Lady and the Tramp 💔💔
No One Can Ever Top Mufasa's Death Long Live James Earl Jones
Yeah not even James Earl Jones in the new lion king
ParadoxFreak He was.
😭😭😭
I still haven’t forgiven wilderbeat yet
Preach!!!
How did she get through this video without choking? I am holding back tears just looking. Ugh!! This is why I love Disney so much!
I mean he does end up with a wealthy owner, despite Dodger viewed it as they weren’t good enough anymore
"Ellie and Carl's tale" in my opinion should be number 1. Even tho I've seen this short snip of the movie for over 20 times I cried everytime.
All the goddamm "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" scenes are sad as hell.
It was Patrick Star who started it all
@@Isaacindelicato123 The Hunchback of Notre Dame came out three years before that show.
DrHaydentheFunny i know, it was just a joke lol
Yes
I can't even watch that movie because I'm a wreck when it's finished ;-;
My favorites that touched me on this list are Tod's Goodbye, Nick's backstory, Remember Me and Mufasa's Death
Todd being left in the woods gets me every time 😭
He is just so oblivious to want was happening and his confused face when his owner started to drive away i-
Me tooooo... 😭😭😭
I will never see mufasa die without crying ever!😭💕💔
I'm surprised Aladdin releasing the Genie wasn't on here. It's a testament to Aladdin's character, being true to his word.
But has that scene ever made you or anyone you know ugly cry?
It makes me cry every time.
Nobody pretty cries. At least, not from the sacred deep place within your soul. Its all the pent up emotions we've held back, denied, or needed something to connect with to bring it out.
It hits much differently now after Robin Williams passed away too.
The fox one got me good I was BALLING my eyes out I can’t-
The fact that at least one Big Hero 6 scene is in this video made me shed a tear! But personally, i would have added Tadashi's death... it made me so sad that Hiro lost one of the most important members of his family... 💔
Especially since their parents are already gone, so it's just him and their aunt...
When Miguel sings “Remember Me” to Coco
Personally my #1 was the fox and the hound one. just hearing the tune of "Goodbye may seem forever" makes me cry! And the long monologue before she drops him off makes it even more heart wrenching. 😭😭😭😭
Mufasa's death is number 1?

the scene where they release the lanterns in tangled is so beautiful, especially with the music
All of these scenes are sad and will make you cry, but none are sadder and more tear-jerking than Mufasa’s death. I still cry every time I see it, and I’ve seen the movie lots of times.

I Gotta admit that the agonizing "Dad come on... You gotta get up!" line from Simba that brought so many of us into tears is truly the #1 most memorable moment in a Disney movie.
They didn't include Stitch dying then coming back to life in Lilo and Stitch 2. Makes me cry every time

Zootopia is honestly one of the WORST movies I ever saw. Nothing but furry bait.
And Judy is one of the ugliest characters I ever saw.
And that's like saying Shark Take is better than The Lion King.
Re-watching all of these is breaking my heart
These scenes are beautiful and will always have a place in my heart I grew up with these Disney movies every single one and it's hard to decide witch scenes hits me harder but bottom line is Disney movies are awesome
Jim's dad abandoning the family in Treasure Planet always gets me. But that is probably because it hits too close to home.
Widow Tweed freeing Todd is just heartbreaking

I’m really surprised Olaf’s death in Frozen 2 didn’t get an honorable mention, but Mufasas death will always be #1
That and The next right thing killed me! I was sobbing in the theatre
Because we already knew he was going to come back
Totally agree!
Olaf’s death didn’t make me cry
That’s because Olaf is annoying and he should have stayed dead
Nooo.. for Mulan I cried when she came back to her father bearing gifts from the emperor only to be shoved away bcs "the greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter".
It just hits hard for me man 😭
Not gonna lie, Monster Inc still makes me cry every time. Im crying right now 😪
Stitch running away and lilo telling us about how her parents died always makes me ugly cry😔
Fayla the fox, I don’t know why but Nani’s reaction to seeing Lilo being taken by Gantu is just as sad. Just, she just lost her only sister, the last member of her family.
