There are a few things you can try
pick the top type - there are lots available.
grow them in the right environment - some eg oyster muchrooms like cool humid areas and may be placed outdoors
(I learned these and why they work on gregs mushroom grower website )

I have no intent to grow mushrooms.....that being said it's actually fun and educational to watch your videos!! You do a great job of producing and teaching all about the manufacturing success and pitfalls of the mushroom world so thanks for that. I will say I am definitely a mushroom lover!!!!! They are one delicious food!!!! So, all I do is sit back, enjoy and learn just for the fun of it! 😁
You should buy a premix bag ready to grow. All you gotta do is add water and cut an X in the bag. It’s your simple and fun to watch them grow. Do it right in your kitchen
@@susdad thought about it but my green thumbs usually kill everything I try to grow! I may just try it some day, just for fun to see if I can keep a fungus alive 😁. I am currently growing a weed that thrives in sidewalk cracks (purslane) and it is surviving even me! Yeah! Lol.

I’ve never really liked mushrooms but have become mesmerized by these and mushroom videos in general, learned so much and I’m gonna start trying them in different ways to see if I like them now, it’s amazing how this process works

AMAZING the size of those flushes, I have grown some oysters, king trumpets and a few other edibles many years ago, but they were practically puny compared to your specimens.

Spent media post-harvest is excellent compost… and i suppose one could siphon CO2 from the fruiting room into a greenhouse to promote plant growth.
