This man is spreading the game he has spent countless hours perfecting for free. Nothing but love and respect for you and your company ❤️ best of luck in this growing market
These days people try to charge for every teenie bits of knowledge they know. This man is willing to share his knowledge of his livelihood. All respect and thank you for your generosity to share to the world.
This is the cool part about mushrooms, the community of professionals are generally interested from the standpoint of human health and longevity, so they bring that aspect to their industry. Also, let's be real, many have also likely grown a "variety" of species, and that fosters openness and creativity.
can't believe i found your channel. Saw you on the growing 600 lbs a week video. have watched all your videos back to back. They are invaluable. You give so much information and so many great beginner stories. love your energy and chillness and knowledge. please never change and keep these videos coming!!!!
Would the air exchange be dependent on how big your tent is ? I have a 4x4x6.65(104 cubic ft ) tent and 204cfm fan. So based on that I was thinking that I would need to have fan on for 30 seconds in order to fully exchange air intent . How often would need to do this?
a few years ago i never imagined i'd spend 20 minutes watching a guy clean out his grow room.. now i couldnt think of a better way to spend 20 minutes. Thanks for the awesome content!
Everhthing is filmed POV and i feel like a trainee watching and learning. Very immersive and helps me retain the information. Theoretically, I'm a trained employee if you wanna hire ;>
Thank you so much for your videos. I can tell you spent years acquiring a vast amount of knowledge, and here you are just sharing it with everyone. You are amazing.
I am from China and I like eating mushroom since childhood and started to learn about cultivation skills 3 years before. I did part time experiment since last year. You are so great to share such knowledgeable videos. And really thanks for your sharing, which provide me totally a new view for mushroom cultivation. Thank you so much!
You’re a joy to watch. Appreciate watching you move around and work smoothly through your organization you setup. It’s beautiful to see how this world has supported you and brought things to you to utilize. The essence of spiritual fungi obviously is everywhere. Thank you for helping to thrive alive once again another version of earthly fungi. Walking fungi road.
Thank you Mike for sharing all the details with us-this is my fifth episode today. :) This kind of generosity is surely rare and incredibly powerful. You are teaching us all just how generous and loving we can be. Mazel tov and all the best!
Newbie oyster mushroom grower here from Philippines.. I just want to thank you man for your channel. I've been watching a lot of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing in-depth information, experiences, tips.. Awesome!
I love watching your videos. It's obvious that you're a genuinely good person. You remind me so much of my son. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. :)
Subscribed to this channel yesterday after picking up Mycology has a new hobby of mine. Full credit to this dude for sharing his wealth of knowledge. You can tell this is a true passion for him, and it shines through in all his key information and thoughts and opinions. Keep the videos coming! Love what you do!
I super-admire your diligence and attention to cleanliness! In your situation it totally makes sense. But I used to work at a mushroom farm and in our grow area we almost never cleaned! The way it was set up was large and open and dirty. We had none of the technology for humidity control, heat control, etc, but we produced massive amounts of mushrooms on an extremely low tech system. It was similar to what you might see in India or China. I'm sure we had a lower productivity rate than your current setup, but the time saved in cleaning and the money spent and rent and technology was definitely worth it!
Idea: Put a some UV sterilization lights in the grow room for a few hours after cleaning to kill off any remaining microbes. Spread them around so there are no shadows for germs to hide in. Love your vibe and generosity with knowledge. 🍻🍄💖
Have you tried using a pressure washer to clean your tents? Like once it’s totally empty of bags, just jump in some oilskins, close the door behind you and start spraying everything down. You use the vacuum to suck up liquids anyway I guess. Could reduce 1/2h workload to 5min maybe. You’d have to get another detergent, though.
The whole point is to not knock stuff around into the air, pressure washers are an extremely bad idea unless you want a massive contamination problem in your grow room
Hi. Guess we have watched most, if not all of your vids.THANKS !! We are branching out into mushrooms to sell along with our microgreens. After many months of learning/testing we are ready to build out a 7x10 fruiting room. Simple question is for "cleaning". I'm hoping we can grow/harvest in 1 side of the room -then clean that 1/2 etc. All comments welcome. Ken
Love your personal and historical quick tent takedown technique. I think many Shroom growers understand the wisdom in that universally sage technique. Many Thanks for you awesome Vids
Not shure why and how "it" put me here, but watching you grow mushrooms, doing it all, living it, beeing so natural lin front of the cam... boy, I want to eat mushrooms right now, I want to grow them.... Thanks, you are the guy!
Thank you. Your videos are so insightful and practical. I was wondering if you ever tried to use an ozonator in your tents to kill off spores and germs instead of having to wipe everything down. It would probably save you a lot of time.
Wow this really opened my eyes for how simple a grow room could be. People are always trying to build some crazy stuff with wood, paint over wood with expensive marine paint, silicone caulk every corner. Your tents are so simple. I'm assuming those are the ones people usually use for hydroponics.
Ooh, Sir could you help me, I want to find some of that "tents" that Mike used in the videos, so what is the name of thats tents, how can I find them in my town. Thx
Oohh, okay, I found them by myself, If anybody wants to use it, or interested of the name like me. I left there link to them www.amazon.com/Plant-Growing-Tents/b?ie=UTF8&node=3480699011 and them called - hydroponics grow tents
Thanks man for showing how the maintenance cycle works... just wondering if blitzing the room with UVC light between harvests would keep the unwanted moulds out...?
Have you thought of shipping containers rather than the tents? Even though they would be more expensive, you could do a custom fitout and if you do need to move they are pretty well good to go as is.
I wish he had videos explaining the intake/exhaust fans and the fae you need for mushroom grow tents. I imagine it’s tricky to have exhaust fans running without pulling all of the humidity out, without using a humidity/temperature controller.
Wow thanks for sharing all of your valuable experience. Binging and enjoying all of your content! An industrial hygienist friend told me there's an advantage to cleaning in order from top-to-bottom (roof first, then high shelves, then low shelves, then floor). Not sure it would make a big difference here, but could help a bit. Either way, thank you for generously sharing what you've learned.
You obviously know what your doing but have you ever thought of getting some type of cheap prefilter that is rated for spores or an electrostatic filter that can be cleaned or maybe rig something up. it would prob cut the cost of replacing inline fans and ducting soo much. That stuff adds up for sure. thanks for the vids!
I used to use ulv diggers with a chrysanthemum based spray (rated food save) .. turn it on let it run a for about 10mins then let the room sit sealed with Air/exhaust off overnight then turn on the ac/exhaust for 15 mins and was good to go for a sanitized space
I've been hoping you'd make a video on this topic! I'm assuming your air intake is filtered outdoor air? Would you be able to elaborate on the type of filters used and maybe the exchange regiment as well? EG how many times an hour you cycle the air, whether you use a co2 sensor etc. Thank-you so much for the videos, super in-depth and applicable for small time mushroom dreamers like myself.
For example the flow hood HEPA filter he is using is about 800 dollars per filter without the housing or the blower fans. They need changing about twice a year.
Yo my man. Thoroughly impressed by your videos. Wholly educational, inspiring and detailed content. It would be awesome if you did a Q&A on how you got started and what your plans are moving forward. Much love.
awesome set up man, I was considering getting a small growing tent to start growing mushrooms at home, looks like it might be a good idea thanks for sharing!!
My sister wants to grow Mushrooms and Moringa she learned to grow it in Venezuela I freaked when she told me but she was fine they loved her feeding the homeless from New Zealand I like your Business
I install mobile shelves in agricultural building's the walls are covered in antifungal antibacterial plastic and the 12 foot high shelves everything is cleaned with hoses water and air. Nutrients are also drain to waste.
Leave 4 Tennis Balls under each quadrant of each tent so that the water flows to the edges and corners for quick and easy hoover! You can attach on a stick so that you can remove the balls etc. You'll figure it out, thought it could be of help.
i appreciate this guy being honest. i was wondering if i wanted to add a mushroom grow to my grow room... it wouldve been a nightmare if i did. sometimes its good not getting into something u might not understand. i cant commit that much time to cleaning, replacing fans, dealing with spores everywhere
Love your videos! It is same thing in pottery, lots of people think I am working on a wheel all the time, but actually,😂 I am cleaning most of the time. Kind Regards, Eva

Great point! He seems like he is made for it!
you should make a post on how you make your air exchange fans & your humidifier
thats what i came here to check out.
