      This seems to be the type of video where they rate vehicles that manufacturers are willing to send them at the time. So, if they have a video where you trying to shoot multiple cars at the same time, and the manufacturer isn’t willing to work around the media outlet’s schedule, the vehicle gets left out.

    Ive got a lower trim of the CX 50 and it has the 17" wheels with a lot more rubber, I think it improves that ride quality problem quite a bit!

    Trust me the push button gear change on TUCSON is a piece of cake after you drove more as it is like typing on your keyboard. Tested always have issue because they only have limited time driving it.

    Impressive speed and efficiency from the Escape.
    I ended up going with a Forester for the excellent visibility and decent off-road ability. Would have bought a Bronco Sport Badlands but the Ford dealer wanted $11k more than Subaru! 😂

      We invited Toyota to participate, but they did not have a RAV4 to send us that met our requirements (all-wheel-drive top trims with gas-only power; no hybrids). The Forester competed in our last two Compact SUV Challenges in 2019 and 2021 and hasn't been redesigned since, so we focused on new, previously untested SUVs.

    The Mazda CX-50 is the more off-road rugged version for Mazda. They should have used the taller, smoother Turbo AWD CX-5 for this type of SUV comparison. It would have finished at or near top as it normally does.

    I have a 2023 Kia X-Pro. The drive mode, essentially Sport Mode addresses the performance issue, I’d like more HP just cause, it’s not 235 HP, but it’ll move you well. I haven’t experienced loud tire noise and I’m on I95 daily for work. True, I’m not going anywhere off road, but it’s attributes should come in handy with these NE winter snow. Good 👍🏾 Job Kia.

      3 cylinder engine with a turbo and a CVT means you wont be seeing many of them on the road after 10 years of driving.

    Why touch screen is plus and the knob and dial are not?? Knob and dial are better and safer...having your hand floating to adjust things while you driving is not the best...can't dock point from the dial..It's funny that they want a touch screen and dock point from Mazda for having a dial, but hated touch control and wanted buttons from Hyundai??

      Scrolling through the different apps to get the one you want is a pain. Heard the new Lexus is now a touch screen. A Mazda salesman tried to convince me that the other car makers are going with the dial b/c it's supposedly safer-Nah didn't buy it..

    You don't need to watch this video. This review basically judges all the cars based on interiors. The kia has weak powertrain, poor brakes (their words), but wound up in 2nd place. While the Mazda has the best powertrain by far, and wound up 5th.

    Test drive the Mazda. If you haven’t been in one, you will be surprised by the drive feel and nicer interior.

      I test drove a CX-30 and wasn't happy about the interior. When sitting in the driver's seat, it felt like everything wrapped around me and I don't like that. I kinda felt claustrophobic.

      Did Nissan fix the transmission problems with the new Rogue? I know the last body style Rogue had a lot of transmission problems.

    I took delivery of a 23 Rogue recently, what's impressive is how quite the cabin is even at high speeds, so much so if you're not paying attention you're way above the limit. Handling is very good. The best part is you can get a deal with the Nissan, not so much with the others. I'm leasing mine (SV model) at 380 a month WAY less than Hyundai, Ford, Kia.

    When they say that the Hyundai, with it's giant slab of piano black center stack full of capacitive controls was their favorite interior that pretty much shreds their credibility for me. Why would you prefer controls that you not only can't use by feel, but are going to look dirty *constantly*? It's form > function which is not what I want from a daily driver.

    Good review, I'm impress with the high quality of the Rogue. Just wondering, why don't you tested the Toyota Rav4? Not that I'm particulary like's it but, it still the best seller by far in the US and Canada...

    This is not a review but a paid ad. Why not the Sportage hybrid without the off-road tires? In proper configuration is miles better than the Rogue. Also, everyone knows Nissan transmissions do not last.

    Decent review at best. For two people who don’t focus on appearance, in my opinion they put too much emphasis on looks and not enough on other more important aspects regarding these SUVs. But I agree the Nissan Rogue fits these two..

    Your comments wrt Mazda ‘touchscreen’ inaccurate - ironically it’s not distracting and safe.

    I'm looking to purchase after driving my Mazda CX-5 for the last 11 years. They stole my research I am surprised to see no Subaru or Toyota on the list. Really makes me wonder when the Rogue finishers first and those others were not included. 🙉

    1st place just reminds me of Big Altima Energy, 2nd and 3rd place I'll wait until they smooth out their 10 year warranty rules as it seems spotty. 4th place just looks like a VW Tiguan but more boring. 5th place it would've been more better if Mazda would make it a little bigger and it goes the same for CX-5. 6th place that car is just old like the Equinox and needs redesign.

    How do you choose one of the worst riding cars as your top choice? Ride is kinda important when you're you know riding in a car. I'd get the Kia over the Nissan in a heartbeat. Btw I currently drive a 2010 Altima with a really flinty ride and had a 2018 pathfinder with the 20"' wheels for a while. So I know well how bad rides really wear on you.

      RAV4 is not a compact. The Corolla Cross is and will DOMINATE in sales because of Quality. Watch the numbers come out.

    The Mazda CX-30 is kinda in it's own class. Mazda is moving towards Luxury & Performance. Where's the Toyota Corolla Cross? It will be the best in sales cuz people want Quality and Reliability.

    No way I'd buy the Nissan over some of the other's. The cvt ruins that suv. And no cooled seats on the highest trim, that's a big mistake on Nissan's part in my opinion.

    These guys promoting other vehicles lol the Rx 350 will outrun all of these suv's. Luxury, cheaper to maintain , reliability and comfort .

      We tested the redesigned 2022 Outlander in the 2021 Compact SUV Challenge. It finished 5th out of 6 SUVs, so we didn't include in in this challenge. The Forester competed in our last two Compact SUV Challenges in 2019 and 2021 and hasn't been redesigned since, so we focused on new, previously untested SUVs.

    I'm a real problem with these guys who are doing these reviews like that I mean they're talking about car seats and everything else like that there are American people out there who just want a car for themselves and do not have kids I think they're doing an injustice to some of the SUVs because some of the Seb security just for single people

    What's up with that front in that led light that goes across the front like that doesn't connect to the other headlights it's just the strip is just sitting there that's tacky
