This performance is absolutely wonderful and I believe the sound engineering is superb. I can't believe that Monika Leskovar can put out that kind of sound with such a loose bow! Even established Trios would have a hard time matching the intensity and sonority of this group. Bravo!

This is a stunning performance of a very powerful and emotional piece, and extremely difficult at that. One of the best performances of this work I have ever listened to, and since it is one of my favorite trios, I've heard quite a few! Brava!

Could something be wrong with me? in general I love Tchaikovsky's compositions, who don't. I myself play many of his pieces, but, I could not enjoy this trio today or before. The musicians; I found them, excellent at their instruments; but, for some reason (the music) is like a dog and a cat howling in my ears. I melt down listening to tchaikovsky's serenade for strings in C+ but this trio is intolerable for me. I will listen again in 2 months. Maybe I'll get it. Thanks for sharing.

Very well balanced performance. Must remark that the cellist (Monika Leskovar) is one of the finest young cellists I have ever heard lately.
