I just applied and got approved but my mistake is I was not able to include my twin girls aged 3 years old. Will they be denied if I apply them themselves or I have to restart my application and include them. Any information?

I was in traisit only on teh way to Bangkok and counter wanted the K-ETA, I was never able to enter a hotel address, for some reason I was able to get on the plane.

Trying to fill this out now. It is neither fast nor easy. The website is crap and keeps kicking me out/crashing/pages freezing. Been at it for almost two hours, finally got to the payment page, and of course, it froze up and I have to start over again. This process is an effing nighmare.
Why does it take a long time to process my K-ETA? It’s almost 2 weeks and still my application hasn’t been process.

You have to resize your photo. The easy way, for me, is to send it to your email. When attach photo to email, it will ask the size of the file before send, then choose medium size. You will get the email attached with low size of photo.
I am from France, during my trip in Korea, I will go in Bali for 6 days and after I come back in Seoul, I want to know if I need again to get another K ETA for my return in Korea after Bali or if my first K ETA is just ok? Thanks so much!
K-ETA is valid for 2 years among US Passport Holder. it might differ from French passholder.
They make this sound soo "simple" but trying to fill out the app and it is unable to find the address I am staying at and I have no Korean contact number to provide since I am not staying at a hotel???

This is not convenient or quick. I've spent hours trying to upload the address of my hotel and it just doesn't work. I've tried other hotel addresses because switching hotels would be my easiest option, but none of them work. I've emailed an agent three times to help me, but they don't answer. It seems the problem is the format of the address, but I have no idea how to correct that. All I want is to stay one night in Seoul on my way to Bali, but unless someone can help me with this, I'll have to cancel the ticket at a significant cost.
Question, does this apply to connecting flights? My flight is from Japan to South Korea and to the U.S.
Connecting flights do no require to go through immigration. KETA is for VISITORS to Korea.

How can you retrieve the application you saved temporarily but it's not complete?
I will travel around while in South Korea so will be staying at multiple addresses in Seoul and Busan. Do I enter all addresses in the application?
Hai..what about your k eta application?..is it being approve now?..I'm having a similar situation with you. My friend and I will stay at several places in South Korea. Is it sufficient enough to fill up only 1 address or I have to enter multiple address as well?

But I have a connecting flight confirmed ticket with philipp[ine airlines same date and just a few hours ahead when i arrived at ICN. What continent and nationality should i put on the questionaires?
If you will use the incheon airport for transfer you don’t need to apply for k-eta

You can do it by reducing the screen size.

I have had issues attaching my passport photo and portrait photo as it does not accept a photo image size of 300kb which is ridiculous
Solved: I’m planning on coming to Seoul for the Yonsei summer programme, does that mean i can still apply for K-ETA? or will I need one of the student visas instead? I’m also in doubt about those, i’ll be in Korea for 1 month, will I need D-2 or D-4 if it’s a summer school programme?
edit: found out that if i qualify for k-eta then there’s no need to worry about a visa for a summer programme :)

Depends on the country you're coming from. I'm also studying in Seoul for the summer but at Hanyang. Since I'm American I'm doing the K-ETA. Hope that helps!

You don’t need to apply for the KETA since you’re only staying at the airport

You have to put in the address before. So it might be wise to book a hotel that you can cancel free of charge.

@@_arcilla71 Yes, I submitted a support question about it and they replied saying their payment system was down for everyone. It's back up and I was able to pay!

It’s not about nationality, it’s about citizenship. So if you have a citizenship of Korea you don’t need K-ETA.
Is K-ETA required if I will just be doing a day tour during my layover? Also, is hotel info really required? I don't plan on booking a hotel, I will just be touring the whole day. Thanks!

I will be having overnight layover in Seoul so similar situation - I contacted Korean embassy in my country just to be sure and see what they tell me but what I understant is - if you intend to spend the layover outside the transit area (meaning past immigration with reclaimed baggage) then yes, K-ETA is needed. If you will spend the whole layover within the transit area, you shouldn't need the K-ETA. 🤔
Can members fill out K-ETA once arrived in country? There’s several ppl having issues with the payment screen. And there seems to be no work around.
No, the airport in your country will ask for your K-ETA and if you don't have it, they don't let you go on the plane (talking from experience)

Oh my goodness!!! I have tried to do this 100 times! Every time I get to the passport picture I take the picture and it says it has been accepted but it closes out the app, goes black, or does nothing and will not let me move forward. Anyone else have this problem?

Can someone explain something to me. It says the K-ETA is required, but from from 2:50 onward it talks about the advantages of an approved K-ETA. So does that mean i can still go to korea without a K-ETA and i will just have to go through the hassle of filing out the forms?
I think they mean if you enter visa instead you will need to fill out the forms. but from vlogs of people going to korea those on K-ETA still need to fill out forms for covid
I understood the same... my visa was denied 2 times. I asked for reasons and they told me that they couldn't give them to me. What I read is that before you get on the plane, they ask you for the K-eta. When you arrive in Korea they don't ask you, but they do ask for vaccinations. Not really well understood

After the announcement of the Minister of Justice last week regarding the entry into force of the K-ETA for citizens of 49 countries as of September 1, 2021, does it mean that these nationalities will be again visa exempted from September 1, 2021? Best regards, from France.
Just wanted to piggyback with this question, does it means countries that require to get K-ETA is exempt from quarantine? Granting, of course, they are fully vaccinated.
starting the 1st of September 2021 Other countries can finally apply to the K eta ! Before that we couldnt even apply! I called the korean embassy in belgium( i m from Luxemburg) and they confirmed that you need to apply to the Keta to travel to korea. but Countries who are not on the list (who cant yet apply for k eta) should not travel to korea! I applied for keta the 1st September and am flying next week on saturday :) ..
@@janetp3389 Every person that did not get their vaccines IN southkorea but anywhere else in the worlds(i believe its because they cant yet verify whether the vaccination certificate we get it valid or might be falsication) and has no relatives - grandparents or parents- in korea Has to quarantine in a government facility for 14days.

@@angeladiana5146 just put the hotel or airbnb address and use their phone number. I did this and it works. Because it says there, while filling out the K-ETA e-application that if there is any changes in the place you are going to stay at, you can go back to K-ETA website and edit the place. I’ve got the K-ETA approved within 1 hr.
Yes. You only need an address of a possible hotel. You can change that info after approval however.

Applying for mine in a few days because we leave next week so this video was a good tutorial. I heard the app is not friendly but might be the easiest for me to apply so we shall see. I will be applying for myself and another member. And the review said i cannot use 1 form of payment or its flagged fraudulent and that you have to use a different form of payment for each person? That is very inconvenient if that is the case.

Hi. My sister applied for KETA and added me to her application too. We are planning to visit Korea together. So she got email saying that KETA approved. But there is nothing about me. What does that mean? Can we travel with one application?
U are both on the same application? Weird... i have to go with my sister too but we have our own application,one by one. U can ask your embassy if your application is good or not. To be sure

I ordered a new passport, but until it arrives, can I do the K-ETA visa on my current passport which is valid only 4 months after departure to Korea ?
The K-ETA is only valid until your passport expires. With a new passport you need a new K-ETA.
I have a keta. If I have now renewed my passport do I have to get a new Keta or can I update the original Keta with the new passport details,

Can some one help me with finding 5 digit zip code. I put the address i stay but require 5 digit zip. which i found it but could not find the spot to type and do it all over again. In my opinion its too korean bureaucratic way of organizing the section. Big disappointment

If I can remember, you leave out the street number, just put the street and you will see all the hotels on that street. it wasn't easy, finally figured it out.
They reject random family members for no obvious reasons. Go to Japan instead.

No , you cannot overstay your current Student Visa.
You will get in trouble and might not be able to travel Korea in the future.
However you can apply for the K-eta and leave the country and go in with the K-eta if it’s approved.
