After watching almost every bellroy venture sling video, this was recommended to me. Thank you so much for posting this as this hopefully serves as a more detailed look to every hype that has built up in me 😂
I found the 6l was a little small for my needs as well, so I got the 9l and a different case for my iPad (8" Tokyo folio from Bellroy) and that combo is perfect. The back, zippered pocket was still too small for the tablet but the separate protection of the folio solved it just fine while giving me even more storage organization (notebook, pen, and a couple of other small things.)
@@NolanOfConsequence it's working pretty well for when I need to carry more. I have my iPad or a book (can do one not both with the other stuff I put in there), a water bottle, and a packable rain jacket in there most of the time.
No, is that a recent addition? I feel I would have ordered that if it was offered at the time. I really do love the material on the Bellroy Lite slings!
Thanks for the tip! I'm a bit constrained space-wise right now, but decided not to let that stand in my way. I'll be getting a new desk setup that will make it much better, with floating monitors instead of these bulky stands. Appreciate you watching, in spite of the less-than-ideal video skills:)
You're not wrong. I'm new to using a bag this way, so hope to narrow down my list of things I actually need to take. But I also want a bag that allows for situations when I need or want more stuff.

Glad I could help!

How are you liking the 9L? Is it working out well for you still?

I think the fact that you can’t also fit the stuff from your pockets is testament to the huge amount of stuff you actually got into the bag!
Very true!
Get the eco pack version or 9L where the back zipper pocket is larger.
Yes, it's not a problem if I want a bigger sling.
Arggghhh. I wish you had moved the sling lower down in the frame so we could see it. Would have also loved to see you wearing them. Cheers!
I know, I'm learning. Really appreciate the feedback!
Those side compression straps: I like to think of them as a form of urban MOLLE/PALS I can hang my small camera off of that, etc.
That's definitely a great use for them!
Have you tried the ECOPAK Bellroy Venture? It's more similar to the Lite Sling's material.

That's right have the Ecopak as well ,with a better sunglasses pocket
The Tom bihn copilot in halcyon is 10L but Carries as if it were smaller. For travel it really packs small & eliminates back sweat.
Thanks, I'll have to take a look at it!
get the 9L Venture Sling, can fit all your stuffs.
9L just feels too big for me. I might as well use a backpack at that point.
Very informative but you need to center the subject in the frame.

Too much crapt

Is the Sling Lite in Black or Midnight?
The one in my video is midnight (navy blue). It's a really nice color.
