Brother your right, when I converted to Islam. I started wearing hijab and niqab. I lost my teaching job in a university because of my choice to cover. You cannot imagine the hate words I get. My own family would not let me enter their house. I would never take it off. Thank you for helping Muslims. We need a strong voice like yours.

Would you defend the Ukrainians if they were being terrorized?
Would you defend the good mother who gave you birth if she were being stalked or abused?

The obsession of unveiling Muslim women goes back a long way. There are a couple of quotes from European colonists about it . I can’t find them but maybe you know . Words to the effect “ if we want to control the Muslims we must uncover the women”
Also the European coloniser man absolutely hated it because it took away the perception of “ control and authority “ they had ie how dare they not be able to see any women they desire .
The history is interesting. I think if more women could read the quotes they would guard their modesty .

Hello. I am an Iranian. The pain of our society is not women's hijab.
Western countries are increasing this
The main pain of our people is economic problems, not the issue of covering and hijab
Covering and hijab was just a secret desire that people took advantage of the weakness of the government
economic problems and the fact that the autocratic government had put all the blame on the people, unaware that they were committing theft and crime and covering it up and...
Economic problems are because of sanctions, but corruption is a big factor. However, autocracy is better than economic liberalisation. This is because neoliberalism doesn't show stable economic development in countries which face as many external challenges as Iran.
So the solution isn't to remove government control of the economy, but to put pressure on corrupt officials. Iran can only develop like the Soviet Union, not like lucky China and the lucky West.

Sad but true
Sad, isn't it? In the year 2022, a man's success is linked to his intellect and his ability. But a woman's success and "progression" and "modern-ity" is linked to the shedding of her clothes.
The irony is that the West will label the Muslim woman ....wearing a hijab and modest clothing....as oppressed and repressed. Isn't that how Mary (Peace be upon her), the Mother of Jesus (Peace be upon him) dressed? In the West you'll see women dressed immodestly and then they'll top off that immodest look with a "cross" necklace around their their necks to show their love for Jesus (Peace be Upon him) who never condoned such immodest dressing and love for his mother....who never dressed that way herself. But they will be quick to mock the Muslim women.
Then you have feminists and other people who think that immodest dressing comes with no ill consequences at all. Hmmm.....would you ever a bikini to a job interview? How about a Hawaiian shirt to a funeral? Exactly. The clothing that you wear sends people messages about you and those messages can be positive or negative and they can potentially attract the wrong kind of people toward you. Even schools in the West have dress codes where students are not allowed to wear clothes below a certain length or be too revealing because there's an understanding (even in schools) that it is harmful. Yet.....the same misguided Westerners.....are encouraging Muslim women to abandon modest dressing.....when even their own schools and professional settings enforce this concept. They need to examine the ironies and contradictions within their own society before policing other nations on their moral values.

I live in France, and the debate about abayas is absolutely ridiculous.
They want to prohibite young girls to wear abayas in middle school and high school.
Are the teachers seriously gonna stalk every single girl with Arabic origins, to see if that outfit she wears is a european dress or an abaya?? This has to be one of the most creepy and stupid debate I've ever seen!
When I have to visit Pakistan on my yearly journey, I leave wearing jean, and shirt. I don’t wear my qameez, shalwar, and dopatta. Why? Just because if I wear my Pakistani clothes I will be subjected to more searching of my carryon, and my body at the airport.
