Mable SMASHED.. i also learned to kickflip from Tony Hawk at the university skate expo as promotion.. id still be skating today if i had an Achilles tendon in my left foot.. special thanks to Goldfinger for meeting us out back and to Tony for teaching kids when rain ruined the day..

Got to skate with the Powell Peralta guys back in like. 87' - 88'ish at a demo at Chapel Hills mall in Colorado Springs one time. Rob, a dude that worked at BC SURF AND SPORT, was like, "Dougie, feel like hanging out at the shop today while the team is here?" Got to chill with Tony and the team all day. Drank like 10 Orange Julius and 6 liters of Jolt Cola. Got some launch ramp tips. Heh.. Anyway, fast forward many years... My son and I played THPS games together all the time when he was young. I'd take him to the skatepark for a couple hours, we'd come home to cool off when it got really hot outside and play this game for a while. He loved that this song was on the game because he and I sang it all the time prior to it being on the soundtrack. Flooded with memories here. Kinda made me get a little "frog-throated." Thanks for sharing!
