There's something wholesome about Tony Hawk unironically saying "sick!" when he sees something cool
I’m 17 anc I’m from california and I unironically say sick all the time and so do hella people I know
Sick is like the word cool man, it'll never go outta style 👍👍👍

Yea...it would have been "rad!" or "gnarly" back in the day
@@donsolos Honestly I wouldn't even say "cool" is slang anymore. It's just a word now.
Somehow tony hawk is the most recognizable unrecognizable person in the world.
He succeeded in something most celebrities wish they could do. He's famous at work, and a normal guy on the street who gets to live slow away from the paparazzi.
Dosent get recognized by a skater but gets recognized by a scooter kid?

I laughed way to hard at how awkwardly true this is.
Lmao for real
Deep down inside, we're all kids on the inside. It's just throughout our years of growing up, we've build these layers because of the impact of society's opinion of being an adult. Truth is, we love being who we really are deep down inside because that's who we truly are.

Tony Hawk shouting "no I'm Eric Koston" is the best part about this video

@@Ozqu imagine wearing skate shoes made by people who know nothing about skate shoes. That's like driving a truck made by people who make luxury sedans (stupid escalade, stay on the pavement). I'm more interested in functionality than what's 'in'. i only wear DCs, unless I feel like i need boots. I blew out the outside of the toe box in my last pair of vans in two weeks and DCs are the only brand I've found that last me over a year. They're wide enough for my foot, i know exactly what size to order,, they don't have a pronounced heel or that horrible arch support, and they last a long time when I wear them hiking, mountainboarding, doing carpentry and landscaping, etc. They didn't hold up when I was a greenskeeper, but that's because I kept getting them wet. At the moment I only have two pairs of DCs and a pair of Belleville minimalist desert boots and that's all I've needed for the past eighteen months. I love DCs. That being said, it's really hard to find them in Arkansas, and if you can recommend another brand with a wide option that's durable I'd be open to trying them next time I need shoes. I used to have a pair of oakley skate shoes with a toe cap, they were great for working but a size too big. They were really durable too but oakley anything is freaking expensive.
