    My Panasonic HC V870 has some terrible errors that made the almost useless.
    I wanted to buy the HC 870 again but sadly it’s not available.
    The Panasonic HC-V785K is.
    I compared both and dont see big differences.
    What is your opionion about Panasonic HC-V785K?
    Ps. I really need the camera lamp what only this typ( Panasonic HC-V785K Full HD) still has.

      It's a good entry level FHD Camcorder however you will loose 4K video coming from the V870.
      I would advise looking at the HC-VX1 instead and if possible take your current model into a camera store to compare.
      Best of luck

    Can you please help me? I can't seem to make the v785 PAUSE work on video recording. I record & then hit record button again for pause, & it says pause on screen. And then I hit record again to continue recording. But when I download video, it's been stopped in-between pauses & it's literally multiple videos, & not one video to be edited? Can you please tell me how I can video & actually pause the recording & then start recording again & keep it as one single video that I then can edit later? Thank you in advance.

    hi can tell me if remember if the box was sealed when you bought the camera because best buy tell me that box are not sealed

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  Месяц назад

      I borrowed a display camera directly from a retail store for this video however for other camcorders I don't recall the boxes having a seal on them.
      you will have to confirm and follow up with Best Buy directly however as this channel is based out of New Zealand and we have no direct relationship with that retailer since they're not in New Zealand.
      Thanks - Bruce

    I also have v160. The screen is difficult to see when shooting outside the home. The light and clarity of the screen are insufficient. Do you recommend me to buy v180? What is the difference between v160 and v180?

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  6 месяцев назад +1

      You can compare specs between camcorder models at Panasonic.com but apart from a wider focal range there's not much difference between the V160 & V180.
      The LCD screen stays the same.
      Stepping up to a V785 or V800 will give you noticeable difference.
      Best to take your V160 to a camera specialist & compare in store side by side for peace of mind.

    Hi,I am from Nigeria and I bought this camera 3 weeks ago.
    I am struggling to get the best colors straight out of the camera, but what I am seeing is like I bought an NTSC camera instead of PAL.
    How can I know if my Panasonic HC V785 is PAL or NTSC?

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  2 месяца назад

      Thanks for your query, different regions may have different settings so in your case I would recommend getting in touch with your local Panasonic Service agent as my understanding for the Pal/NTSC setting is inside a special service menu.

    How does the image of a single photo shoot look like? Is it acceptable?

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  Месяц назад

      For a thumbnail to identify your videos it will be fine but I wouldn't recommend using this to take photos while you're on holiday etc.
      Best option would be a Lumix mirrorless camera with both photo & video features as camcorders are really just focused on simple video features.

    Can it be mounted on a tripid? if so which do you reccomend

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  3 месяца назад

      All Panasonic Camcorders can be mounted to a tripod or other standard 1/4 20" tripod thread screw.
      For tripod recommendations I would talk to your local electronics retailer or camera specialist as tripods have varying features & pricing depending on your needs.

    The HDMI is clean? For streaming without showing battery hub and things like that? Also, its a normal size HDMI output or a microHDMI output?

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  5 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately, V785 HDMI output is for TV playback only and cannot be used for streaming or external monitor. It is micro HDMI size

      @@PanaStudioNZ yeah I found out after buying it. But with an adapter I could stream anyway and it has an option to not show the hub stuff in screen.

      If you tilt the screen to the "selfie" mode the HDMI is clean. I use this camera for B-roll, but most of the time for streaming, I use it for streaming townhall meetings via Teams, or use it as my webcam. For streaming I pair the camera with a feelworld monitor whch has passthrough and this works like a charm.

    Question: I can‘t see my videos after connecting the camcorder to my iPad usting the USB cable. I recorded the clips with the AVCHD mode (no idea what that means but maybe thats the reason?) and now I can see that there are documents in the folders but my iPad can‘t play them. The pictures work just fine I can access those… does anyone know how to fix this? Should I use the mp4 mode from now on? Bc I want to edit the videos on my iPad not on PC
    Thanks to anyone that might help (:

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  6 месяцев назад +2

      Hi there, from what I can tell, iPads don't recognize the AVCHD Codec which are more common in camcorders so you'll need to convert the footage with a 3rd party app on your iPad or switch to recording in MP4 format.
      Hope this helps,
      Cheers,
      Team Pana
