So many great tid-bits. Thanks for sharing. And don't be upset when you all see these aspects in other builds. 'Cause you know I'm going to steal.....I mean, use them.
really enjoyed your enthusiasm. for most of my life, I've never had anyone to bounce ideas off of. Now in my late 50's it's nice to watch your minds creations revealed in plastic, it's giving me hope even with a shaky hand...
A great video showcasing how the model car hobby can let one be a technician, designer and artist. Thanks for this high level content. I hope these keep coming throughout 2022.
That was an inspirational video, Doug. I love group builds. They push my creativity. It was nice to see you feature yourself. Great looking couple of models, there.
Fabulous builds and so well thought out. Great filming and fascinating to see and hear the modellers talking about their cars. Thanks so much for sharing!
Doug - amazing job on the seat pattern on the '29! (The whole model is awesome but the upholstery just stands out as over the top!) Really well done. I love the shape of the body, and the exhaust too.
You guys have amazing talent. I am definitely going to make my gas cap work like that on mine. I started on my Revell 29 Ford Roadster last year, 2021, and I wanted the doors, trunk and anything else that was supposed to open, open. I got the trunk working and moved to the passenger door. That is when it started fighting back, so I decided that it needed to be put on the WIP shelf and move to something else. I wanted to get some more knowledge under my cap before trying to continue it so that I can make sure it turns out the way I see it in my head. Y'alls Roadsters are awesome! Thanks for another great video.
Two amazing versions of a kit with literally millions of options. It is amazing the lengths that great modelers resort to turn their ideas into reality. I would be happy if my modeling skills were one half as good as the builders of these two wonderful models.
So great to be able to see two different takes on one kit and hear from the maker themselves! It is great to hear insights on the vision, etc. Such beautiful kits! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Really enjoyed this video...seeing the two cars up close is awesome, and listening to the builders talk about their reasons and details of the builds...is right over the top! Thank You!!!
Wow! I really enjoy this channel. The quality of the models gives me inspiration and initiative to get something going. If all goes well, I'll have something to display at NNL East in April. I hope to meet you guys just to say "Thanks!" The last time I entered a model in a show was at a church in Clifton, NJ (I think) in the late '80's. I'm sure my skills have deteriorated quite a bit, but I'll give it a shot.
The whole scale metallic flake things just drives me crazy. That is overthinking it to the ridiculous. It would be so small you couldn't see it, and what would be the point if using it then?
@@ModelCarMuse ok...I do believe that would have been from a 49 Ford deluxe. I'm planning to make a three wheel Morgan cycle car. But more looking like an American hot rod. I'll be using the Christman brothers Bonneville coupe as inspiration.

someone needs to make that car really exist its to gorgeous to only exist in model form
So many great tid-bits. Thanks for sharing.

Best of luck with your builds. We are looking forward to NNL East, too! See you there!
The only sad thing about these model contests is you don't see many young people participating
The whole scale metallic flake things just drives me crazy. That is overthinking it to the ridiculous. It would be so small you couldn't see it, and what would be the point if using it then?
Awesome 29’s man, Amazon video ganan or share
Vince where did you get the tires-?
Great video. May you always have a project on your bench. Does having about 15 count? :)
Absolutely!
I love 4banger
Doug did you use two 40 ford deluxe hoods?
Both cars are insane!! Really inspiring!
I think I used hoods from the AMT 40 Ford kits.
@@ModelCarMuse ok...I do believe that would have been from a 49 Ford deluxe.

That sounds really cool!
