We go there every year for their parade and I always pick this spot because I have NS on the line behind me and CSX on the line in front. 3 years in a row CSX has run a train through during the festival or parade!
The town would normally notify the railroad about the festival, and the railroad would then issue a slow order to its crews. CSX will run anything with anything. They had the 2 SD70ACe demonstrators and an old SD40-2 on that train along with GE DASH-8's and an SD70MAC.
congratulations is an excellent video, the first train I counted: 7 locomotives 106 wagons the second train I counted 2 Locomotives but I could not count how many wagons they were, but it's an excellent video, congratulations
Damn 7 Locomotives? Whatever they were Hauling must have something Heavy and really Valuable that they had to use 7 Locomotives there that is Insane! Good Catch Jawtooth
Do it have a "End".. Oh Yes, there it was....And the next one was pasning by...☺👍 Thanks my dear good friend, Jaw, for share this.. It was Amazing upload.. Bless you and you family.. Greetings.. Axel 👨🎸🎤🎶
I love a good train, as long as I'm not in a hurry when one goes through. This was cool. Don't get to see demonstrators up here in Wisconsin, we see fresh paint once in awhile, but those were nice units. The car carriers are only seen between Illinois, with regular CN trackage stops in between to the west Neenah main line, then continuing West Northwest, through cities and towns to Minnesota. Wisconsin has no car carrier facilities that I know of. There are no intermodal distribution yards here either that I know of. Up in Green Bay here, we get strict freight trains only. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is the end of the line for most CN trains.
I have been to Michigan as far north as Grand Rapids but I have never been to Wisconsin or Minnesota. I was told there is a circus train in Wisconsin from a museum or something that runs a couple times a summer. I want to see that some day. I hope you enjoy my videos. I work hard to make them entertaining. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Very cool Jaw Tooth! Five CSX locomotives and two UNION PACIFIC locomotives pulling a mixed freight train! Really nice looking auto rack cars! I bet this upset them parade watchers! Good to see you with MILLIEUMFORCE and another great video Jaw Tooth!
Hey jaw tooth thereis a kentucky utility power plant and csx trains runs through the some sections of Walton hauling lots and lots of coal . great video :)
Did anybody count the cars on that thing, my god that was a big one! Looked like a bunch of the new EMD's. Nice video Jaws. But I wanna know where the pizza is? I saw you coming out of the Tower in the beginning. Oh it's Pisa! Shucks I thought you was gonna have pizza. Nice seeing the little ones again. They are something to be very proud of! You and the Mrs. And friends take care.
Great video and great catch! Not sure if you noticed, but the lead unit is the Spirit of Louisville (You can see the tiny lettering toward the bottom right of the cab) I saw this unit back in March and I had no idea until I googled the unit after I noticed the unreadable lettering haha. Nice catch with the 2 demonstrator units too and happy New year
That was a good video Jaw Tooth. I love watching freight trains interrupting parades. That is quite a lash-up of power and a good mixture of freight cars. I noticed you look younger in this video. Thanks JT well done ! 😁👍
While watching I spotted something about that lead loco, just next to the builders plate you can see a small thing, cant read it but something is there, looks like a sticker.....
Its great to see a Chessie System box car still in the wild. Wonder if the two yellow or orange gondolas with the conrail logo were MOW cars. Maintenance Of Way
Its funny how when the news reporters interview people about tornados the people always say the tornado sounds like a train. I was thinking about that the other day when I was watching trains. Everytime I heard a train approaching I was afraid it might be a tornado so I hid in a basement and missed all 6 trains! lol
Yeah man I love the intros you do are just so funny as heck man and what's the parade for like firefighters and stuff for the community how nice is that by the railroad tracks that's cool man way to go bro
Is this the same line that rolls right there just beyond the Pilot truck stop up there at Richwood and then crosses over that huge high-rise viaduct by the weigh station if you're going down towards Lexington just outside of Walton?
I looked at it but I didn't know what you meant. are you the Josh from near Nelsonville? If so, I hadn't heard from you in a while and I was wondering how you were doing.
I met a railfan with the same name last year and we railfanned a couple days. I think he changed his number and I lost contact with him. Anyway, I am glad to meet you and thank you for watching one of my videos! I have one video that pretty much sums up my channel. If you get the time, would you check out this video and tell me what you think? ruclips.net/video/-5Ymxz4Gp7Y/видео.html That video has clips from some of my best railfan adventures. Btw, I am going to Florida in a couple weeks to get some footage from there and Georgia. Thanks again!
At the Very Bottom of the lead engine Next to That White GE Certificate of approval or sum like that it looks like the spirit of louisville lettering is that a spirit loco??
Ha Brian,yes i now that,i have to,i go today to one steam festival in Hoorn,i gonna make a video,its from the:S.H.M. in Hoorn.:Stoomtram Hoorn/Medemblik.okikidooo,many greetings,have a nice weekend to,Brian.
The passengers in the horse pulled wagon weigh more than the poor horses...
CSX definitely won the 'Best Float in Parade'.
You picked a perfect spot to watch the parade - you can watch the parade in between trains hahah👍
We go there every year for their parade and I always pick this spot because I have NS on the line behind me and CSX on the line in front. 3 years in a row CSX has run a train through during the festival or parade!
@@JawTooth lol just your luck
THAT SD40-2 Will OUTLAST All Of THE OTHER LOCOMOTIVES ! SP Lives
Thanks!
Commerce "Trumps" a local festival. Rock on CSX! Keep that freight moving.
Great Catch with those SD70ACe-T4s! They are the newest engines in America, and still very rare
good to see elctromotive back in the mix of things.
Sweet, a paiur of Tier-4 EMD Demonstrators! Nice catch!
The town would normally notify the railroad about the festival, and the railroad would then issue a slow order to its crews. CSX will run anything with anything. They had the 2 SD70ACe demonstrators and an old SD40-2 on that train along with GE DASH-8's and an SD70MAC.
That train had everything, CSX, NS, BNSF and UNP.

Nice catch of EMDX 1609 and 1610 in a 7-loco lash-up!
Not a single child flinched at the train horn there, those are some truly tough kids.
Nice catch! Lots of locomotive power on tap with a couple of demonstrators to boot.
Thank you!
Great video !! Im old enough to remember when the auto carriers were open. You could see the new autos roll by...
I remember that. Those were the good ole days and no graffiti
@@JawTooth True !!

elementary school kids have more sense than middle schoolers.... noted.
What evidence do you have that that is the case
Nice! You caught 2 demonstrator Tier 4 SD70ACe's!
Ditto! That was my thought too, holy cow! Lucky guy!
Metra MP36 407, hbgg
Metra MP36 407, I don't think those were Tier units. Those were the first SD70ACES.
they were Tier4's
then probably the first tier 4s. but when I look up the first sd70aces, that's what I get.
Notice when the first train cleared it looked like someone had just kicked an antmound and they all had to regroup..

That's so cool!! I still wanna see a CSX engine in person, I love the ElectrcMotive engines they almost look kind of like BNSF
No, that's Union Pacific paint with the words "Union Pacific" replaced by "ElectroMotive." BNSF is orange, not yellow.
do you know if they planned to get the parade across the tracks in time for the train?
@1:36 Every single one of these train videos have at least one guy wearing white socks with black sneakers.
Cool festival! The trains looked awesome too!
Thank you!
Those Electro Motives look a bit larger (longer) than the usual loco...?
How does one sync up the power distribution of 7 locos? They are synced in some ways right?
