Create a Live Bootable Android USB Flashdrive (for PC's)

- In this video I will show you how to create a bootable live Android version and install it to an external drive to use on any PC. To do this I will use the Universal USB Creator tool and two USB flash drives. In the video I used a flavor of Lolipop but this should work with any modern OS including Jellybean and Kitkat.

Excellent, clear, articulate, informative narration! What a relief from the usual music (which isn't information) and vocalized pauses etc in most videos. I like the dual USB flash drive idea and it works nicely for any distro. Well fucking done.

This didn't agree with my Asus Chromebox. Made the bootable usb and installed on ext hdd. Both failed to work. But it did work on my pc. Though Google store kept having issues.

I use ASUS U46SV, android 8.1 R1 X86, My RAM 8 Gb, USB Sandisk 8GB.

Unfortunately, the max storage that Android can take is 4Gigs... That's not enough, I have a 32Go usb 3.0... But it only take 4of them :/
I was trying to install Android 7. 0 on a Dell Optiplex 530 s I had it installed to the USB stick everything works until you get to the reboot then you click reboot and then nothing comes up it just goes to a black screen can you tell me what the problem is with that been trying to get this for a few days can't figure out what the problem is please let me know

SD CARD ? Good for one time reads but not something you'd want to run an OS from...
Think SSD's, that's what they've been designed for...
But if you work for the CIA or something and you just need to be in there for a minute to destroy their computer or load an, or something while they're not looking...
Think Micro SD, you can hide it under your tongue and chew it up and swallow it when you're done...

Why not format as NTFS? Does it not work, because it would run a lot quicker if it does.

after the installation would this be a the same as a rooted install? I say this because I ran it as Live then installed a app that states its for rooted only. I went to an area on a phone that normally I would not have access to and I message poped up asking for permission. I also might have used a different Android iso image but nothing I believe special.
Is there a way I can transfer the app that I modified a "data" area, over to a non rooted phone and have it work. I have tried Bluetooth transfer, and ES File sender, and a couple more without luck. The program installs on the new phone but it comes through like I just downloaded it from Google Play.

try not to sign into your account while installation and skip all steps through instration then you will be able to sign in your account on the desktop...

TIBTHINK you have to use Ethernet cable connected to your router or a Ethernet to WiFi reapter it could be usb or ac powered
tested this on a VM and i installed it it would not boot. it said error! 17

No, as the USB only contains the operating system. That is unless you have a weird tv that has a boot menu.

This vid is totally useless if you are using the x86 Android because when you install new apps, the OS be not able to save it and you will have to reinstall the same apps each time when you boot up, totally useless.

+trevor zenith For my Intel card it did, I was surprised. All of the networks were displayed and I was even able to connect and browse the web. I doubt it supports many other wireless adapters though.

It depends if you install Andriod on usb then set your computer to boot form usb then andriod will boot but when its disconnected windows will still boot!
