I bet it isn't working an a Chromebook?
I think there is a way to make this work without turning of the the secure boot option by using shim-signed or something. I'm not familiar with it or what to do. I wish if he could enlighten us on that too. I mean secure boot is a security option, its not recommended to turn it off
Hey David, can we run this live pendrive in my vbox and VMware
after downloading Kali Linux make sure your image has not been tampered with, you can do this by confirming the Checksum is correct via the command line interface. Good luck
@@RealLexable it depends on architecture of the CPU (there are ARM units too, and KALI as majority of distros works on x86/64 primarily) and might be some difficulties with allowing usb boot, but in theory it's possible
Hey Mr. David Bombal,
I just wanted to drop you a massive thank you for everything you've done for me. Your RUclips channel has been a total game-changer in my life, and I can't even begin to express my gratitude.
So, here's the deal: I graduated with a non-tech background, and I was completely clueless about how to break into the IT field. It was like standing at the edge of a massive jungle without a map or compass. I knew I wanted to dive into IT, but I had zero idea where to start.
Then, out of the blue, your videos popped up in my RUclips recommendations. I started watching, and it was like a whole new world opened up. Your videos weren't just informative; they were fun, easy to follow, and honestly, they made tech stuff seem less intimidating.
I became a regular on your channel, binge-watching your tutorials and soaking up your knowledge like a sponge. Your teaching style, the way you broke down complex topics, and your real-world examples - it all just clicked with me.
Inspired by your content, I decided to take the plunge and go for the CCNA certification. Trust me, it seemed like a monumental challenge at first, but your guidance made it feel doable. Your study tips, practical demos, and enthusiasm for networking turned what seemed daunting into something exciting.
Fast forward a bit, and guess what? I landed a job in IT! I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's all thanks to you, Mr. Bombal. Your channel not only armed me with the technical skills I needed but also gave me the confidence to chase my IT dreams.
I want you to know that your dedication to helping newcomers like me is beyond admirable. You're not just a teacher; you're a mentor and an inspiration. Your impact on my life has been huge, and I'll forever be indebted to you.
So, once again, thanks a million, Mr. Bombal, for being the guiding star on my IT journey. Your generosity in sharing your knowledge has changed my life, and I can only hope to pay it forward and inspire others, just like you've inspired me.
With loads of appreciation,
M. Khan

You're welcome!
Hey David,
Thanks for the great video
If possible please make a video on cloning ur current linux into a bootable pendrive/disk
multiboot with persistence would be a good topic. there are tools like ventoy which let you boot various isos and utils in one usb drive. it gets into the weeds when persistency is involved. but one portable drive to rule them all, even with booting in macs -intel & m chips, uefi & legacy, has always been challenging.
I was just wondering if this would work on ventoy
Ventoy persistence does not work with Knoppix. Hacking around that has proven slow and mucky. Haven't tried Kali yet.
I have tried this it becomes a mess I stick to ventoy to keep and standard install multiple OS images in my pendrive . That's it
LiveUSB multiboot can be done with stuff like Yumi but the persistence option doesn't seem to work for the multiboot so it sucks... also I don't really like Ventoy and all the rage around it.
Thank you David it is always good to have a hack tool on the go such as a USB or raspberry pi.
Thank you yari much sir
The legend

This video is amazing and helpful 👏🏻. I have a request can you make a video to use the virtualbox virtual machine by using bootable Kali Linux live .
Your Linux knowledge is good
Thanks Man, I Dont Know That Trick In Kali Live Boot😊
OBRIGADO DAVID
That's what I'm talking about!! 🎉❤
Bro I watched a video said to download the normal kali and flash not the live usb. Idk why I didn’t think of this but you may be a life saver going to try later.
I'm have Kali working on what looks like a Gameboy. That makes it look innocent like I'm playing a game. The challenging part is making Kali usable with Gameboy controls. I have also connected my Flipper Zero to it as a keyboard and mouse as a proof of concept. That let's me run preprogrammed scripts from the Flipper interface.
Perfect
awesome
Yeh! This is what I was looking for!❤ thanks!
And now, unfortunately, we can't use this way. so maybe need to update this video.

To avoid problems like gnu grub opening during installation, use weekly build of kali usb live (W38 or higher) along with Rufus.
Hello sir Nice to have a teacher like you
