You should listen to one of the bands on the wheel called PVRIS! I’ve loved them since 2015, they do such unique ethereal but raw sounding vocals and I literally have them on repeat all the time!!!! Highly recommend

A favourite small artist of mine is Emily Tei!! She's just uploaded her EP album to Spotity, she's an Australian (like me! I love supporting local artists like her), and her music is amazing!!! Her voice sounds really pretty, plus she writes her own sheet music and lyrics for her songs!! She's absolutely wonderful, very similar music style to Dodie, people should check her out :]
