Pulp performing Mis-Shapes from their 1995 album 'Different Class' live at the NME Awards 2012. Pulp were honoured with an NME Award for their outstanding contribution to music.
It's a really good surprise to see them playing Mis-shapes with that enthusiasm after all these years. I thought Jarvis despised that song, it wasn't even incluided in the hits album, but it;s one of my favorites (and many other peoples's too) Thanks for uploading.
I so agree with all you've said. I explained this song to my 5 year old last week- he's growing up as one of those brainy geeks who play chess at lunchtimes, bit like me, so this song will get him through when he comes up against the mainstream jocks.
That’s amazing my dad got me into this at that age because I was a big nerd in school with marvel, and doctor who and now I’m I happy I got to see this live with this him this year 🖤 so your son will appreciate it.
In England, possibly. You must remember that the UK is the Kingdoms of Scotland and England, the principality of Wales, and the... whatever Northern Ireland is. Artificially carved out of the body of Ireland, certainly. Deserving of return? Arguably. Run by fanatical young earth creationists, definitely. Sadly the English outnumber all else, and only recently has any real power been devolved back to the other areas. This led Donald Dick to think he could lean on the Scottish government, who told him to fuck off, but that's a different story. Anyway, the Welsh and Scots are very different in character from the English ; after all, where'd you think the original form of exceptionallism if not Dominionism came from? Correct - the English, who transmitted it to North America... sorry about that, Canada! I guess it's a bit similar to the difference between the USA and Canada, actually. The Scots and Welsh are aware that the sun isn't shining just for them, whereas plenty of English have that exact attitude, as do many USAmericans. Because the Constitution of the USA is such a good idea for keeping church and state apart, I like to think of myself as an American who doesn't live in the USA, nor has citizenship... after all, the founders took hints from the Declaration of Arbroath as well as from Magna Carta... which has actually been subverted ages ago... except perhaps for the aspects of restraining the monarchy. For instance, there's no law of trespass in Scotland, not so in England. This is a major difference between the two which often goes unremarked, but it means that for all intents, I have free movement, except for the submarine base, the glen next door where they stash the missiles, and the island off Cape Wrath they bomb constantly... there's more to it, but not much. Our land, you can still get lost in! Feels good! And no-one will try to shoot you, necessarily, just as long as you don't behave badly.
he´s still got the moves. And he still is incredibly hot.

By writing songs about it.

JARVIS!!!!
They don’t have a clue.
The sound in this overall sounds like plastic. Crappy sound engineering.
