  • I typically go through a pair of boots every 6 months or so basically whenever they lose their ability to be waterproof.
I started seeing all the loggers that I encounter through my day job wearing this brand of European Boot so I thought I would give them a try!
I am so thankful that I chose this brand that I had never heard of because I probably can't go back to any other brand now. They are still completely waterproof and comfortable after almost 15 months and I should be able to wear them for years to come!
You can check them out at Haixusa.com

I was first introduced to Haix during my military service. I’m forever grateful that we got issued this brand as it definitely saved my feet on multiple occasions. You’ve heard the phrase “ride or die girl“ these boots are the equivalent of that

I've got a pair of the first scouts and I am very hard on the soles. Usually within weeks the outside rear edge looks like a slope, but my haix - never had soles hold up as long as these. Super comfy, good for every day wear and look cool af. Worth every penny

I have HAIX Combat Hero boots that I bought on sale for $100 last year (regular price $200). They are very comfortable, supportive, and rugged. My feet feel well protected and you could walk all day in them. Best regards.

@Down South Off-Road and Outdoor it's weird I found them too narrow ! I also use british army issue haix cold wet weather boots. Summertime I use 5.11 tactical desert boots.

My issue is same as everyone in Law enforcement or Emergency services, Strings don't last or bottom of boot glue wares or leather gets brittle crack or split leather keep clean. These way more superior anyway I've worn . Have try these as duty boot 🥾 thanks for showing me these .

My husband is a climbing arborist. He wears heavy loggers when climbing but more flexible boots when doing ground work. He wore Keens but then went to HAIX because of recommendations. He just bought a couple more pair so he must like them. The Scout is a good looking boot...curious how they feel and hold up. I LOVE my Merrell Mohab mid hikers but they wouldn't stand up to heavy tree work conditions.

@@DownSouth_Adventures great to hear! I checked and believe my husband's are the same model with the stiff toe (no steel toes working around big trees). They're holding up well under some rough working conditions. They should sponsor you!

Even though this video is 10 months old, I hope you see this. We used HAIX in the army 2021-22 when I went in mandatory service. The previous year had for 4 months the old black basic boots that are just wood with leather. After that they gave them these scouts in tan, and they enjoyed them a lot since they are durable and amazing shoes to wear all day. When we came in they gave us right away the tan black eagle 2.0 o think and they are more or less summer boots. Water got in easy and our feet were so comfortable and cool all summer. If you want a extremely light and comfortable boot get the tall black eagle. For winter and water stuff get the commander. I still have my black eagles and even though they were used for id say 8 months straight I got them re soled and a new zipper. The only complaint I have for the black eagles is that the original zipper and stitching were a bit off. By that I mean they unstitched on the side of the zipper and other places. But the next batch of boots, even though I didn’t get them. Didn’t have those issues. I might give the commanders a go cause I will start backpacking and hiking soon. Great review!!

So to this day they are still the most comfortable boots I own. My fat but has probably NEVER hiked that far but they are great standing or walking on concrete all day. As far as feeling rocks no these feel like tanks for your feet. I love them.
