- The Allard is a French American bakery and bistro located in Hudson NC that is dedicated to providing an exceptional casual fine dining experience using high quality local ingredients and talented individuals who are passionate about serving.
Chef Mora is known for her Asian, French cuisine, and her fine steaks.She is classically trained Chef and The Allard celebrates the revitalization of the city of Hudson and Chef Mora's love for her late father, Rick Allard.
Rick Allard was an all-American boy of French descent who grew up on his family's egg farm in South Dakota. At age 18, he was drafted into the US Army and served in his country in Vietnam. He loved three major things, carbs, cars and his family. He drove a 1973 Mustang and his favorite treats consisted of lemon bars, cheesecake, and dinner rolls. Most importantly, he raised 4 children in whom he instilled a strong work ethic and the drive to make a positive difference in one's community. Years after losing his battle against pancreatic cancer, his four children have come together to build and dedicate this bakery and bistro in his honor.
You have absolutely got to give this place a try because it's DEFINITELY worth the cheat!
